Seen a lot of documentaries about poor America, but this is insane. This looks like Haiti or something. This is liberalism for you, though. Social responsibility is unfortunately not a default setting. People need to realize that helping these people is helping themselves. When you need to move and that big couch needs to be stuffed into the moving van, you're glad that you have a good relationship with your neighbor. Poverty is a national problem, not regional.
Craig Jones yo this world is fukked up and you wonder why it is like it is, same thing in the DR, Haiti is like a toilet and DR is like Napa valley on the same island. I just think a lot of greed is in play when it comes to the state of affairs in this country. It is sad because it’s more than killing and drug dealing going on it’s families, children and grans people just trying to survive. I feel like Lenox when he took Dmx to Jamaica

"You haven't been to Miami...You been to South Beach"
Savings this it been years since I been back hm it has changed a lot
Jerome B 1990 still miss hm Miami Edison was my school still talk to old friends
+117677993763407169824 I was raised in Liberty City(Brownsville) and I graduated from Hialeah Miami lakes. I went to Northwestern for 1 year but I left due to so many fights and after school shootings. Miami is nothing like it was in the 90s. The good outweighs the bad though.
Jerome B MY LIFE STORY, i love this video.. left Jamaica at 7yrs old, raised in Miami, never went back to Jamaica for 20yrs, i use to cut hair at 183rd st flea market before THEY changed the name, what you know bout Joe ROBBIE stadium, Pak Jam, went to North Miami elementary, junior, senior , graduated and went to FLORIDA MEMORIAL, my grand daddy was head of security there, my grand mama R.I.H was head of the mail room, My aunty was head of the financial department , and my uncle had a cleaning company contracted to clean the college, when it was called college , now its called a University... remember when Prince had a club on South Beach called GLAM SLAM and we use to go there to sell herbs, walk the strip and get fcked up then fall off in the club at 15-16 cause we was connected.. #memories.. splack pack, and my grand parents still live in CAROL CITY right around the corner from the FLEA to this day 2015... #memories, #souflotv
+106064543144074336383Bro you just brought back so many memories. The splaque PAC... Man those were the days. Do you remember the Jamaican Brotha who use to sell food in the flea parking lot behind the store? Oh yeah and PAC jam was da shit man, . I think Luke Skywalker owned the club at that time. It use to be thick out there. I do remember when Prince had a club on South Beach. Everybody was getting fucked up on dirty in that club. Remember that like it was yesterday.
this is powerful, watching this in Covid 2020 smh, we still fighting even in the big city of NYC. power to our people
man thats home, im from Dade County, love it or hate it!
good documentary I respect florida in alot of ways, and the culture, from music,to styles ,to wearing locs in hair and trends .and I also have family in Jacksonville .
I hear you but let’s be logic it’s just south Florida homie
Everybody had their own lingo or style
This not Florida or south Florida that's Miami
@@carolcitypopepope3179 but what people often means with south Florida is Palm beach and broward but broward and palm beach is greater Miami it belongs to the Miami metropolitan area and it’s the same culture the gold teeth, donk cars, wick dreads, face tats
@@sweentertaiment1402 we don't consider none of that Miami in Miami we just Miami what u talking is yt man demographics and we dont do yt approval in Miami the gold donk n dread culture is founded n invented in Miami the rest of the world followed history got to be started from sumwhere people n place if u take the place n the people away from they history that make you a low down dirty untruthful person I'm telling u wat Miami is those other places is just them other places they copied Miami n they still dont act think or behave like a miamian u got to be from here to act that way n think that way them other places dont experience the samethang we experienced u can get life for a bag of weed in Broward n Miami they let u go the next day or don't go to jail at all so do u still think its the same place as Miami?
@@carolcitypopepope3179 mf I cam from Miami broward and dade is kinda the same shit😂 accept it
I lived in Stuart FL and Port St. Lucie FL. I love fl, the culture down there can be beautiful. Crazy seeing Denzel Curry so young in this video. Berg was right cuz two years later Denzel is killing the game, FL had a great run past couple years
South Florida is such a beautiful place with so many talented and beautiful souls, so many black people done wrong by injustice and then held down further by our own because it’s all we know. we all deserve to get out and i pray that we do 💜
Good doc Worldstar. We need more of this from ya.
Bruno can spit I like his flow
Wow this was great. ......... bitter sweet viewing for me. I love all black people... no matter where you can from. Thanks WSHH
This is really good, thank you. Felt like I was there.
This is where I grew up but I went back and everything has changed. It was a part of me but I can't even recognize it anymore, I was heartbroken because I felt like my whole childhood was wiped out but I refused to raise my son there.😔😔😔
the reason miami crime rate is not that high is because every district n miami has its own crime rate..downtown is what they consider miami
Notice that most of the dudes they're showing are rappers, real Miami street niggas ain't on all that camera shit.. You can't get the real Miami experience through a video, but it was straight.
You do realize this is a worldstar exclusive and worldstar is hiphop so yeah
this whole documentary ain't bout the real miami shit basically bout these young niggas who rap thats tryin to get on if you look at the whole video you'll see most of these niggas try to rap and get noticed this shit ain't on no real life street shit because if it was the nigga who shot the film woulda been scared to fuck wit them boys
inspirational documentary. amazing work,

@Da Carol city pope yeah, Unfortunately that nigga cheated on me
@@MsWittyReadz get u a south central L.A. nigga
@@MsWittyReadz u mean a Miami nigga he ain't cheat a man can have mo then one wife our women was dumb down to think men cheat they made us believe that to control our birth rate take that boy back if he did good to you
@@carolcitypopepope3179 um no. If our terms and agreement were to be monogamous, then that means he fucked that up

1987: Uncle Luke
1997: Trick Daddy
2007: Rick Ross
2017: City Girls
Kodak...& X
@@Thkmra they from Broward County NOT Miami
@@jeffdakid5845 Samething! Jk😄
Though I doubt it'd be another 10 yrs...which btw, pretty sure artist like Pitbull, Trina, and Flo-rida break up that supposed spread.
@@Thkmra lol you good and idk judging by how the stats looking it could be another 10 before someone from Miami does blow up but then again with the age of social media who knows 🤷🏿♂️
And as far as the other artists goes Pitbull mainly does reggaeton/pop music now, Trina came around the time Trick came, and tbh nobody really is listening to Flo-Rida like that lol and I barely considered him a hip hop artist he more in the pop category like Pit
City girls lololol good your daughter can learn to be a 304 beautiful culture

Everybody in Florida knows Miami the realest city. Ya'll know too we on every episode of 1st 48. Love that city but we definitely need a savior!
***** People have been "lookin' to Jesus" for over 2000 years and niggas is still in the same situation they were in last week. Wake up nigga. There ain't no God.

This was definitely the one that brought tears to my eyes
" I ain't flipping no burgers, and I ain't washing no dishes" one of the smartest things said, that kind of work is a waste of time and potential. We gotta start small businesses whenever possible to try to get out of poverty and our situations in Miami. Thanks for this documentary. Miami is a hard city to survive in but with hustle and drive you can make it. One love to all the Miami family!
Man rewatching definitely got me feeling some way, some ppl in this documentary dead or in jail 😔 S.I.P rich, free all them boys out that cage man!

you forgot about the notorious lil Haiti that is miami
Little Haiti was the last place they did smh
InfamousJay2488 I'm talking about trick he named all the hoods but left out little haiti smh
Ginio Lamy maybe u wasnt payin attention
kk S. I was paying attention believe me
lil haiti is in there last notorious no one's should ever fuck with
Seen a lot of documentaries about poor America, but this is insane.
Miami is segregated still to this day, once you cross over the train track in Miami it’s a whole different place
jake pip every major city is like that that
Orlando/Miami the Rawest cities in Florida 💰🌴👌🏽
Orlando is weak
@Zanda Williams scarlett's
@Zanda Williams strip club lol. But I said what I said.
Classic. Shout-out to Miami and Broward from KC/STL
That's Miami not Broward go on they documentarys to shot them out Miami is not Broward dont assault us like that
Good to hear Real Miami for a change, brother.
smh...We as a people have spiraled into the moral abyss.
A lost generation being led by a lost generation. Sad.
💯
MAN WHAT YOU SAID IS POWERFUL. POST THIS ON YOUR FACEBOOK LET THEM KNOW THE TRUTH!!
I feel like Lenox when he took Dmx to Jamaica
anyone can make a change but economic disadvantages make the spiral happen. Who's willing to quit their job and become a father or mother figure to all the lost souls?
Yall gotta put New Orleans on here mann
Is trick the spokesman for miami, make him governor one time♥️♥️♥️♥️🇧🇸♥️
good documentary....i got out of opa locka and never looked back. told those i knew they need to get out to. life has been grand.
Man when I see my city shit hurts so much when I think about all the family and friends that are no longer here any more because we all couldn’t be better athletes or rappers and didn’t have the men around or moms to help guide us. Everyone I know that made something of them selves had to leave dade. I love home but damn shit is crazy how you can leave and come back and the city has not changed. I’m perine and raised in the heights , I went to school and played football for south ridge and it was crazy to see all the neighborhoods click up against each other instead of finding away to bind together to beat the system set up against us. I love you Miami
Shots outs to MIA, We gonna get it out the mud, not doubt ☝️Much ❤️⭐️
"I ain't flippin' no burgers, and I ain't washing no dishes". That mentality keeps a lot of people from ever being productive in life.
Broughtolife ...creates no work ethic.
🤣 well that particular line is another language in itself. Apologies you don’t understand our dialect.
You didn’t understand what was said
Im all about work ethic. Pride can get in the way tho. And these days that job full time wont support anyone anymore. Keeping options open is ok. Depends how broke u are tho.
Right being humble in life means a lot more
