Thnx a lot sir.... For giving ur valuable time.... Please upload the all videos of mosbaur and esr before Dec 2017.... Not urgent but it's a request....
According to mossbauer spectroscopy Fe(CO)12 show 3 peak due to presence of Fe2+, and Fe3+ . My question is CO is neutral ligand ,but how Fe2+ and Fe3+ are produce here?
Gate chemistry I also asked u to the same question a few days back and u replied that u will make a video on that.I was waiting for the video.plz help me on this.
fe(cn)42- tetrahedral splitting eg is lower energy t2g is higher energy but you wright t2g is lower eg is higher its really possible or not thank you sir
In between 8-9 min......u have expalined an eg.....let me correct u .......fe(cn)4 if this is a tetrahedral den u must not be filling electrons in t2g orbitals and moreover ....u shd not use t2g and eg for td complexes....its t2 and e2......now explain this thing for several tetrahedral complexes if we are given so .....also one more thing we if am not wrong there is no low spin complex in td ....now plzzzzz explain this explain again........nd correct me if am wrong smwhere ....thank u .....
sir the filling of electrons starts frm t2 and then in e..but u hd written it frst t2 then e ..n low spin complex td complexes generally dnt happens...sir kindly clear that complex...that creates problem..Thank you
Gate chemistry Ligands approach in between the axis to form a tetrahedral complex, hence the energy of t2 is higher than e. And because of that, the filling should be asymmetric , right?. Please clear the doubt .
yeah I have seen it but I have some solved papers of CSIR NET acc to dat the quadripole splitting is shown by R3SnCl and SnCl4... But acc to ur video it should be R3SnCl and SnF4....
Sir why the peaks are splitting into two peaks ,what is the reason, they may split into three, four etc no. of peaks depending upon electronic environment ,but they are splltinh into two only Confused sir
Vinod Dhiman... You jst see that rxn... There's isolobal relation between S(2+)and Cp2Ti... With 4&14e respectively.. The s6 ring breaks into S5(2-)& S(2+)...
Sir.. . How Fe(CN) 42 - is formrd.. ie how is it stabilised... And if it is Td... It should be high spin... With assymetry in e-orbital... Then must show quadrupole splitting...
sir very sorry to say around 11 minutes in this video you have drawn the structure of trans and cis Fe complexes but you put the charge on Fe atoms in +3 however only two cl- ligands are bonded to central atom so it should be +2 and Fe is in d6(H.S) configuration, which is t2g4 and eg2 in both the cases (cis and trans). t2g orbitals are asymmetrically filled ,so electronic asymmetry is present in both the cases then how we can differentiate the cases. plz pardon me if I was wrong some where in my statement.
Hello sir thanks for giving me concept about mossbauer spectroscopy. Sir u have told us that SnF4 shows quadrupole splitting, but I was solving a problem of June 2011 here the correct option was Sncl4 explanation was given because of Td gmtry of SnCl4 having S electron density and SnF4 does not split because it has ionic character Sn4+ having no Sb el density. can u understand me ?? Which is correct u or above the explanation.
Please solve this Sir : This is an example of magnetic splitting- If Mossbauer spectrum of Fe(CO)5 is recorded in the presence of magnetic field, the original spectrum with 2 lines changes to one with? ans- 6 lines...how?
sir thanx a lot for doing this video.and sir aap EPR k left part pe video kab banaoge.i m waiting for that. And sir from NET point of view this will be enough for mossbauer spectroscopy or else we have to go through more topics?
Sir can u plzz make a videos on quantum chemistry topics like hidrogen like atoms, simple hormonic oscillator nd variation, perturbation theory's..plzz sir it's a humble request
Thanks a lot. You helped me a lot to understand Mossbauer spectroscopy in a very short time.
Thank you very much for nice lecture God bless you. keep uploading as Gate exam is approaching
very useful sir ....you are simply just Awesome ...Thanks a lot sir ..
Very helpful for me...Made my day...I completed one topic...Thanks☺️
Thanks a lot sir for spending your valuable time for us
great work 👍 ur videos r very useful for net or gate aspirants bcz i think u cover all imp topics in ur lecture in a less time :)
Nice video ,it's very helpfull
beautifully explained...have been struggling to get the basic concepts clear since long...
As [Fe(CN)4] Complex a Tetrahedral complexes, the e orbitals are lower in energy and t2 orbitals are in higher energy..am i right?
Ths vdo helps me a lot tnqq sir
Thnx a lot sir.... For giving ur valuable time.... Please upload the all videos of mosbaur and esr before Dec 2017.... Not urgent but it's a request....
Good concept Sir,it help me a lots bdw thank you
Ok no problem sir..is there any reference book where I can find such formula for omc
According to mossbauer spectroscopy Fe(CO)12 show 3 peak due to presence of Fe2+, and Fe3+ . My question is CO is neutral ligand ,but how Fe2+ and Fe3+ are produce here?
Very useful sir thank you
Nice explanation
Why is gammar ray spectroscopy measured in mm/s?
Can you please explain the isomer shift trend in SnCl2, SnF2, SnI2 and SnBr2.
Sir is there any formula to find out number of bridging ligands?? In OMC if yes then please tell thank you
Gate chemistry I also asked u to the same question a few days back and u replied that u will make a video on that.I was waiting for the video.plz help me on this.
bt for tetrahedral there is no hs or ls complex is it so
Thnkuu sir....vry useful video....👍👍👍👍
how Mossbauer spec helps in finding the structure of Fe(CO)5 ,Fe2(CO)9 also???????????
Thnku so much sir... Was your conference held in jaipur?
Kk...
Am I right , if I say that for quadruple splitting either ligand asymmetry or electronic asymmetry may be present
What will be the sequence for these coMplexes for qudropole splitting??
Fecl2.4H2O,K2(Fe(cn)5NO,Fecl3.6H2O??? Plz explain sir
sir, which book should I refer for mossbaeur spectroscopy?
fe(cn)42- tetrahedral splitting eg is lower energy t2g is higher energy but you wright t2g is lower eg is higher its really possible or not thank you sir
fe(1,10phenanthorline)2(ncs)2 how many mossbauer lines exist in these complex? thank you sir
Thanks alot sir!
🥺🙏

Dhiksha Sharma great job

Dhiksha Sharma Fe(cN)4 is not a td complex it is an squi planer complex with d6 system thats why it has no any e assymetry
In this video you told [fe (CN)4]2- is Td but I think it is dsp2 and square planar??
Great job sir....thnk u so much
thank u soo much for this video sir...
TD system split into eg nd t2g then fecn6 molecule possess asymmetry not symmetry . ?
In the following compds
SnF4,SnCl4,and R3SnCl...
the nuclear quadripole splitting are observed for??? ans plz and explain too sir
yeah I have seen it but I have some solved papers of CSIR NET acc to dat the quadripole splitting is shown by R3SnCl and SnCl4...
But acc to ur video it should be R3SnCl and SnF4....
plzz explain sir
sir please take some lectures on group theory related with character table and numerics ...
Is fe3o4 gives quadrpole splitting ???????
very informative...and intresting.
thnq very much ..pls do upload group theory remaining part....thnku...
Sir why the peaks are splitting into two peaks ,what is the reason, they may split into three, four etc no. of peaks depending upon electronic environment ,but they are splltinh into two only
Confused sir
But why it is splitted into two peaks ,on what basis
sir how can sulfur and cp2Ti be isolobal?huheey page 319
plz explain
if cp will donate 2e then can it be possible
Vinod Dhiman... You jst see that rxn... There's isolobal relation between S(2+)and Cp2Ti... With 4&14e respectively.. The s6 ring breaks into S5(2-)& S(2+)...
See rxn... 11.56..
ab lga kuch idea thnx ruchi
Sir.. . How Fe(CN) 42 - is formrd.. ie how is it stabilised... And if it is Td... It should be high spin... With assymetry in e-orbital... Then must show quadrupole splitting...
Even I am confused with this part.does Fe(cn)4 exist?and what is the geometry?
pooja bajaj.... I think it doesn't exist...
CN lagand can't form Td complex with Fe in plus two....oxidation state
Even [Fe(co)4]-2 has only one signal.sir plz explain the valid reason.how to identify the geometries f such complexes
pooja bajaj... Coz this carbonyl complex is perfect Td... And electeonically sym.. Too... Wid d10 configuration
no this complex have no charge due you know answer for this question?
Great explanation ya.... thanks a lot
But you have not discussed magnetic dipolar interaction
sir very sorry to say around 11 minutes in this video you have drawn the structure of trans and cis Fe complexes but you put the charge on Fe atoms in +3 however only two cl- ligands are bonded to central atom so it should be +2 and Fe is in d6(H.S) configuration, which is t2g4 and eg2 in both the cases (cis and trans). t2g orbitals are asymmetrically filled ,so electronic asymmetry is present in both the cases then how we can differentiate the cases. plz pardon me if I was wrong some where in my statement.
In Cis form there is more asymmetry than trans relatively, hence CIS give more quadrupole splitting

salman ahmad siddqui l also stuggled with this question... Will u get the right answer?
All Td complexes are high spin.then why Fe(CN)4 2- is low spin complex???
Please solve this Sir :
This is an example of magnetic splitting-
If Mossbauer spectrum of Fe(CO)5 is recorded in the presence of magnetic field, the original spectrum with 2 lines changes to one with?
ans- 6 lines...how?
Gate chemistry
That'd be really helpful.Thank you Sir!
i am quite eager to ask you the source of this whole study... i mean can u give the name of book or whatever study material u are consulting....
i have already gone through that. But these concepts seem quite different from what i have studied..
sir thanx a lot for doing this video.and sir aap EPR k left part pe video kab banaoge.i m waiting for that. And sir from NET point of view this will be enough for mossbauer spectroscopy or else we have to go through more topics?
