I don't see Nate and Jamie as competitors. I watch both just as I can be interested in two Netflix shows at once. You guys synergize with each other, and that community-feel is GOLD that we all love to feel a part of. So keep up the great work, guys.

WSL standards don't reward full on surfing. What rates higher, Mark Healey on Waimea left or a slash at Lower's? Noooo comparison

I’m 55 and been surfing my entire life and to me Nates channel is my favorite! He doesn’t try hard. He’s probably the most real. It just feels so raw. Not all about saying like and subscribe. I hate that. He’s all about paddling and slabs. Plus he always gives so so much love to the locals. I guarantee that’s makes them feel so special! Nate is surfing and bringing so much light to Ireland and Scotland! Keep going hard!

Jamie is a leader and true friend to all these guys. I enjoy watching, listening and following these guys. It’s a great and refreshing way for me, a 48 year old construction professional still dreaming about surfing a long glassy head high wave or hitting a double-up behind the boat.
Having Jamie to watch and follow is a huge honor for me and I love that he is a mentor to so many people, especially to these great guys living on the North Shore. Nathan along with his brothers are so good for the sport and great for the young generation to have in front of them. Positive energy and something I am glad for my own two sons to watch and learn from.
They conduct themselves with respect and kindness.

23:32 go! The man has understanding i can tell hes so humble in little body language where he thinks how he chooses to define himself in those moments and during those months all he does is soaking up information. Gain understanding at all costs. Thats why people want to listen what he has to say. Hes finding himself hes free for himself and he will allow you to grow with him. Mad respect to him. Nate is a rare type of human being. He will think about you too. Even when you’re not around. Like he gives the people information he doesnt think highly of himself. He will still ask you for your thoughts and take it into consideration and into his own thought. I wish Nathan koa and his people the best waves.

This was the best Jamie! Super genuine down to earth content with the buddies. We as the community look up to you pros for all your knowledge, experience, memories to share with us. This podcast was such a pivotal step for you. This is going to take off!! I would recommend that you can set up some consulting for up and coming groms/pros. I know that having that guidance and counsel for them can determine the direction for their surfing goals, wether it be for competitions, certain wave conditions, or conditioning for mental stability or health improvement. You have years of great insight and giving it away free may be doing yourself a disservice. Your resume is huge! Sky is the limit for you guys!! Best of luck! Keep it up!! Excited to see the growth.

I've never really paid attention to what the release dates are but maybe could help you all on the initial roll out of your videos. Nate said something about, the athletes actually have power (through content creation)... If only people from all the other sports realized it, and did the same thing. For the longest time I absolutely hated sports. Didn't play them, didn't watch them. But recently, through youtube, I've seen all kinds of awesome content, first from climbers, and then surfers, and even as someone who had nothing to do with either one, the content was just so awesome, and it was so fun watching these world class athletes who were passionate about what they do, just doing their thing, that now I'm subbed to several sport related channels. Never would have thought this would be the case. But that's what happens when great talent brings itself to the public in this kind of way.
