It looks like some explanation is long overdue! 1. Yes. I know Wonder Woman's bracelets have broken in a few New 52 stories. They are not made of amazonium in that continuity. 2. No. Captain America's shield is not made of pure vibranium. It is a vibranium-steel alloy, called proto-adamantium, and it later became the basis for creating primary adamantium (the metal around wolverine's skeleton). In the Marvel movies, the shield _is_ made out of pure vibranium, but that is because Fox owns the rights to using adamantium in film. As a result, they had to change the origin story a little bit for the Captain America movie. 3. The reason the last five metals were ranked above supermanium is because Superman was capable of forging supermanium. Conversely, no mortal being is capable of forging adamantium, adamantine, uru, proto adamantium, or amazonium. Admantine was forged with divine magic. Uru was forged via extreme methods that caused a star to supernova before being made even _more_ durable by divine magic. Adamantium and proto adamantium were both mixed together out of different metals that could not be reshaped once cooled. And amazonium was forged by Hephaestus, the Greek god of forging, who used a divine method that actually made the resulting metal _stronger_ than its previous incarnation. Even he cannot reforge it now. I apologize for any confusion this video may have generated because of my failure to cover these points, but I have some self-imposed restrictions on my video length right now, and I just could not cover everything. I hope this small addendum can clear up any misunderstandings.

I actually have the answer to "what is the least fragile thing in the universe?" It's known as a neutron star. The neutrons that comprise it's structure are so densely packed that it is in a separate state of matter known as "degenerate matter". Every possible space that fermionic matter can occupy is occupied. If it were any more dense, it would collapse on itself and become a black hole, but the gravitational force that binds it is so great that it overwhelms the redoubtable angular velocity that is characteristic of neutron stars (when a spinning object like a star becomes more dense, it's momentum is conserved in the form of exponentially increased spin velocity). The object is so densely packed that surface irregularities are not much higher than single neutrons. Look them up if you would like, they are fascinating beasts of astronomy.
+Fidelis Espiritu Neutron starts dont actually fill up every single possible void in between the matter. They dont even actually come close. It is worth noting that the Adamantine doors guarding the exit to hell in Paradise Lost only accounted for half of the doors blocking the exit from hell. The other doors were made from steel. So we don't really know just how strong Milton considered his metal to be if the other doors were made of steel.
Hello, as a greek, I want to say that adamastos meaning untameable, not unobtainable! Which makes more sense for adamantium, since it cannot change shape once molded like you said.
Damn this is just insanily durable but in 2019 or now the strongest unobtanium is Element X from DC. Its basically indestructable and it was used to restore the multiverse
The strongest unobtanium is polanium (not to be confused with the radioactive substance polonium). If you don't know what that is, it's a metal that makes up a pole that stands in a classroom of a school in England.
@@ninjadejedi I did think of that but lets assume that tony, doom and shuri also had a look at which combination of metals would give the desired affect. Mabye parts of the suit would be made of different alloys and or pure metals. I do take your point though man and award you 3 "IQ" points aha
JDHGaming Interesting idea, you are going to make a weak point in the suits by using low quality metal. Some may think it is crazy but by Joe I think it is brilliant. 😛. Emperor Palpatine wants you to design his next Deathstar.
My only problem with this is that in the 4 cases of Proto-Adamantium breaking, only 1 of them was due to anything other then omnipotent powers. Molecular man could do the exact same thing to Amazonium if he were put up against it. There has been nothing like the omnipotent powers that destroyed Cap's shield even going close to WW's Amazonium. Not to mention that they were FORGED to become the bracelets they are now, thusly making Proto-Adamantium stronger than Amazonium. My reasoning? Simple. In order to forge anything it has to have a melting or forging temperature in which the metal becomes a liquid, or is at least hot and soft enough to forge, respectively. That being said, however, Cap's shield COULDN'T be forged or melted, because it was built on a molecular structure which naturally formed into a domed disc, aka a shield.
+Megidramon No, it was magically created to be indestructible just like Thor's hammer so it's like having a Proto Adamantium with a magic spell to be more durable. Besides, Cap's shield was a trial recreation of the metal of the gods. If this is real vs fake, I think the original is stronger.
Huh. You're right. Never even realized Amazonium was a thing 'till now. I guess it's such a small part of Wonder Woman that most people just don't give it a second glance.
Not to be a killjoy, and I hate myself for this, but any object, whether it's metal, wood, even paper, if moving fast enough, can generate enough kinetic energy to break ANYTHING. Anything. These are the best videos on RUclips though
JT that is true but if you had a sword that was made out of metal and the warrior had so much power of Kinetic energy and that he would break the sword it would be because of using to much of that energy, you would need a metal to withstand you.... sorry for my English
Katchin does not have many appearances in the _Dragon Ball_ franchise, but we know the Supreme Kai managed to create Katchin from scratch using Magic Materialization, and he at least considered it plausible that Gohan might be able to cut it with the Z Sword. Additionally, Gohan later developed a technique to cut Katchin using ki and wrote about it in _Groundbreaking Science_. Supermanium, on the other hand, can only be forged by Superman's brute strength in the core of a star, has been stated to be almost as durable as he is, resists magical manipulation, and cannot be cut or altered on a molecular level. These showings indicate that Supermanium just has a better track record in stubbornness than Katchin does, but it's also important to remember that it has displayed more feats and survived more brute force than Katchin, which is vital for an analyst to note if he wishes to avoid the Proof By Example Fallacy. Katchin just does not have any showings on the level of Supermanium, and it _certainly_ doesn't have anything that comes close to Amazonium.
no it got broke a lot of times in dbs (the arena), the gods of destruction destroy it with ease and the supreme kai said that those katchin are stronger than the ones dat broke the z sword
one of my favorites is neutronium, first introduced in Star Trek TOS Doomsday weapon. I is theorized to be the probable core material of a neutron star.
+Ishaan Arora +Johnell Brown metal has no clear definition. (1) in astrophysics, anything that isn't hydrogen or helium is considered metal. graphene - a carbon compound - would be considered metal (2) carbon however is not a metal - even though scientists can sometimes make it behave like one (for instance, diamond doesn't conduct , but graphene conducts electricity very well)
What got you on the path to looking at pure amazonium was the fact that whatever metal you deemed the strongest couldn't be smelted then you said that the bracelets were forged?!?!?
+The Imaginary Axis but isn't adamantium as on wolverine's skeleton unbreakable either once it has cooled down? I'm not sure, but I think they said something like that in x men origins: wolverine... something like "it cannot be deformed once it has become solid, thus we need to keep it liquid all the time" (not word for word, that was more like the info he tried to deliver)
+The Imaginary Axis oh wait, on the other hand, that's a movie and they may have altered the characteristics of adamantium for that one movie.... but I don't know..
+The Imaginary Axis maybe im stupid but... how did she put on the bracelets if they cant be reshaped? Did they got forged around her arms or what? (yes i know, my english is bad xD)
Thx for making these videos dude I enjoy these and love the symmetry you put tying the beginning and end together with the science. Keep up the great work bro.
You should have mentioned kachin from Dragonball. The higest levels of gods considered it the strongest metal in the universe. Then again it was never really tested against anything other than the sword old kaioshin was trapped in.Which makes you wonder, if that sword could contain a god and kachin broke the sword does that mean kachin can damage gods?Anyway, great video!!!:3
+Vegeta9001 Thanks for the compliments! Katchin was actually included in the original script, along with a few other unobtainiums, but it had to be cut for time purposes. If you are interested in how strong the metal is, most _Dragon Ball_ spin-off material indicates that it's nearly indestructible! In _Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury_, even a full-powered kamehameha from Goku was unable to break it! However, Gohan _did_ eventually develop a method for cutting katchin by using ki-infused sword techniques, which probably indicates it is somewhat stronger than phrik but weaker than supermanium. Aren't these subjects interesting?
Vibranium has an advantage of over Adamantium due to is energy absorbing properties, say it was hit of a bullet, instead of the bullet crumbling the bullet would just bounce of the metal. Black Panther has a suit of Vibranium woven into a mesh like armor, allowing him to withstand astronomical forces and powerful beings like Silver Surfer. If he had an Adamantium woven suit, he'd still be protected from physical damage, but think of the impact from the blow of a God like being would have on him.
I have to say, You are the best at explaining this questions about these superheroes I have started reading comics and of course am full of questions keep up the good work!
+J Cieslewicz yeah, from Rakwanda, you know Black Panther, who's claws are made of the same thing. He even mentions it in the description and ignores it.
+J Cieslewicz it's both fox owns the x men universe so they own the word adamantium that's why they say vibranium and gave it a new back story. For future reference the strongest thing in MU is adamantium they just can't always use the same name due to copyright so in civil war when they mention Panthers claws being vibranium they mean adimantium also they make the same sheathing noise in the trailer as wolves claws
Garatena Dialga or the body of mega steelix, the dex states it is unbreakable, and can withstand the heat of the earth core (hotter than the sun keep in mind). And in the anime, it can withstand a arceus and mewtwo ( basically gods for anyone who isn't familiar with pokemon )
I love close to the beginning when Tyler first mentions unobtainium and talks about the strongest metals then shows gohan breaking the Z sword idk why but that made me chuckle
If you go by the Marvel RPG, Wolverines claws are Class 1000, Thor's Hammer and Caps shield are Class 3000, only beings like Celestial's wield Class 5000 powers.
Didn't Goku break through a wall of the stuff though? When he was dead and therefore had no strength? Maybe I'm misremembering because I got that information from a video game.
Cam Miller katchin is only above star level then the Grand Prest in DBS made Katchin katchin which is stronger yet still universal beings could break it.
still hard to say on this one as yes Katchin is a metal in dbz however katchi katchin, the material made by the Grand Priest, was said to be even stronger than regular Katchin. Yet it was still easily broken apart and destroyed by not only Gods of Destruction, but also mere mortals later on. From the 'looks' of the material in its non-broken and broken states it seems to be more of a stone-like substance not metal, which begs the question... Could it still be a unobtainium if its now a rock in the current cannon? wikipedia doesnt specify it being anything other than being harder than universe 7s Katchin, which doesnt mean its metal just that it has a higher durability than normal Katchin. Either way it was destroyed so not gonna use this to make a bunker to hold out against Vegeta after pressing the Goku button.
No, obvious;y Zabundiakeliuminoradim is the strongest, it can withstand infinite universes exploding and collapsing on it without even showing anything, and it was only able to be made by 12 beings that could each create infinite universes in an instant, so it's obviously the strongest. (YES, THIS *IS* A JOKE!) (And yes, I did make this up.)
+Donte Harmon Thanks for enjoying my video! I have more on the way! And if you are really interested in Wolverine, his bones are technically coated in adamantium beta, which is slightly weaker than primary adamantium. Provided there is enough force behind it, his bones can probably be broken by primary adamanitum, adamantine, enchanted uru, proto adamantium, and amazonium. Isn't that interesting?
The Imaginary Axis UnobtaniumVery interesting considering what wolverine has been through. Also did you know at one point in the marvel ultimate universe hulk actually broke wolverine in half.
+Donte Harmon Yes! I actually did know that! But don't get confused! The Hulk did not actually break any adamantium when he accomplished that feat. Rather, the Ultimate universe's Wolverine only has adamantium on his _bones._ His ligaments are completely bare. The Hulk was able to pull Wolverine apart because there was nothing but muscle keeping his adamantium skeleton together.
+Stephen Kopunek It's clearly quite a bit weaker. It would appear that Hephaestus is not near as good at forging in this continuity... or Aegis isn't as strong... or something. Whatever it is, the New 52 bracelets are not near as durable.
Imagine spending your life's work to make something that could survive the heat death of the universe, but when you finally do you forget to take notes.
+Thomas Lowe I believe that is actually forged from the power cosmic... I don't know what to make of that. Maybe we can discuss cosmic energy assuming a solid state in another video.
Wouldent actually proto adamantium be the strongest if you got it too a decent size then shrinked it with pym particles. It would tighten the space between the atoms making it more durable but aswell as heavy as shit. If you shrinked it eunogh it would be completely unbreakable. Maybe so strong that not even a black whole could tear it with its gravity. And it would take several years to smelt it because it got so much mass. There is a reason that Hank Pym is so obsessed of pym particles and them being so powerful.
***** HAHAHAH... no when he shirnks his density gets higher. MUCH higher. almost 200 times higher. stepping on Ant-Man would be like stepping on a bullet, or a nail. So when ant-man shirnks he just becomes a god at his size. but this might not explain it. imagine you trying to stomp a bullet. Ant-Man is even harder than a bullet (with the suit). Plus and Ant-Man cannot punch people it would be for them to get poked by a needle when you think of the size of his hands. Take that film believer!!!

+Marmotte - garou Thanks for that! I'm really just focused on exploring all of these wonderful imaginary worlds we've created over the years! It should be interesting to see how some of them compare to our own. You'd be surprised at how thin the line can get!

“Pure amazonium, *forged* from...” it was forged, therefore not invincible.
Colobrinus With a side of cube “from” meaning that befor wit wasn’t strong until it was formed
Ohhhh great catch
it was invincible AFTER it was forged
Lol so where all mavel metals you moron!
@@tinalovre what
The strongest unobtanium is polanium (not to be confused with the radioactive substance polonium). If you don't know what that is, it's a metal that makes up a pole that stands in a classroom of a school in England.
wut?
Smelt them all together and get Doom, Tony Stark and Shuri to make a battle suit.
Sound reasonable, until you realized that if you miss a good metal with lower quality one, all you have done was creating low quality good.
+Megidramon besides, Hulk's shorts are stronger than both. No contest.
+Megidramon But we have to count times a force actually went up against it not a force that could break it.
+RJL738 well pants is holding its own against hulk.hulks junk has a lot of force..

Oh I forgot um using a normal metal sword to withstand such kinetic energy it would be erased... I hope you know what i mean

+The Imaginary Axis in injustice year 4 I believe, the daughter of darkseid breaks wonder woman's bracelets, but that's kinda new 52
Whe else thought tyler was going to say adamantium when he said adamant?
I'm curious, could Wonder Woman's bracelets be stronger than Katchin, which was never forged, ever, only created by Supreme Kai from Dragon Ball Z?
Katchin is likely stronger than phrik but weaker than Supermanium. It was originally included in the script y had to be cut out.
The Imaginary Axis But Supermanium was forged, wasn't it? Katchin was materialized by Godly magic. How can it be weaker than Supermanium?
The Imaginary Axis Thanks for clarifying, I didn't know about the Groundbreaking Science part until now.
no it got broke a lot of times in dbs (the arena), the gods of destruction destroy it with ease and the supreme kai said that those katchin are stronger than the ones dat broke the z sword
one of my favorites is neutronium, first introduced in Star Trek TOS Doomsday weapon. I is theorized to be the probable core material of a neutron star.
Graphine is not a metal. Try making a video about the hardest element or substance so that u can include other interstellar matter as well
Spelled graphene wrong and im not sure about that
+Ishaan Arora +Johnell Brown metal has no clear definition.
(1) in astrophysics, anything that isn't hydrogen or helium is considered metal. graphene - a carbon compound - would be considered metal
(2) carbon however is not a metal - even though scientists can sometimes make it behave like one (for instance, diamond doesn't conduct , but graphene conducts electricity very well)
+Ishaan Arora I have to agree but I would also like to mention dwarf star allow.

What got you on the path to looking at pure amazonium was the fact that whatever metal you deemed the strongest couldn't be smelted then you said that the bracelets were forged?!?!?
+Henry Chapman They were forged by the god of smelting who used divine magic to make the metal so strong that it could never be reshaped again.
Lennart Bösler
They are large enough to slip on or off.
Plot armor is the strongest metal. :P
Billy Mays and it is truely unobtanium
Batman possesses that kind of Armor
That's not even a metal, a metal is an element with weak bond with the electrons on the outer shell of the nucleus.
You here that? That is NOT the sound of the joke flying over my head.
I thought it was oxyclean
+The Imaginary Axis yes they are very intresting
Vibranium has an advantage of over Adamantium due to is energy absorbing properties, say it was hit of a bullet, instead of the bullet crumbling the bullet would just bounce of the metal.
Black Panther has a suit of Vibranium woven into a mesh like armor, allowing him to withstand astronomical forces and powerful beings like Silver Surfer. If he had an Adamantium woven suit, he'd still be protected from physical damage, but think of the impact from the blow of a God like being would have on him.
Shutup
+Luke Foust *shut up.
adamantium also has an advantage of it being denser therefore making it equal but i still think its stronger imo
Yeah but as seen in the movies it is forged into many things and is very easy to create with so I think that’s why it wasn’t included
Proto-adamantium (e.g. Cap's shield) has vibranium in it, unlike Wolverine's skeleton and other sources.

+shaun graves yeah, when he said that Cap's shield wasnt vibranium, i instantly was like "what... what?" and i backed up the video to relisten lol
+J Cieslewicz it's both fox owns the x men universe so they own the word adamantium that's why they say vibranium and gave it a new back story.
For future reference the strongest thing in MU is adamantium they just can't always use the same name due to copyright so in civil war when they mention Panthers claws being vibranium they mean adimantium also they make the same sheathing noise in the trailer as wolves claws

you forgot the jule of life, arceus said it cannot be broken, or would have said in a different timeline
Garatena Dialga or registeels body, which the dex states it is the hardest metal in the universe
arceus and mewtwo aren't idols
@@thomasmcdavid6588 The Earth's core is only hotter than the surface of the sun. Any lower than that and the Sun is much warmer than the Earth's core.

what about dbz katchin it cant be forged it has to be brought into existence by a god of creation
Gohan found a way to cut it
still hard to say on this one as yes Katchin is a metal in dbz however katchi katchin, the material made by the Grand Priest, was said to be even stronger than regular Katchin.
@@JaelinBezel goku base form can just destroy earth and in ss form he can literally destroy universe so i guess that why he can easily break it
Ur the best comics and marvel channel out there
No, obvious;y Zabundiakeliuminoradim is the strongest, it can withstand infinite universes exploding and collapsing on it without even showing anything, and it was only able to be made by 12 beings that could each create infinite universes in an instant, so it's obviously the strongest. (YES, THIS *IS* A JOKE!) (And yes, I did make this up.)
Thats good info. I always thought primary adamantium was the strongest metal ever. Now I that wolverine can probably be broken by amazonian metal.
The Imaginary Axis oh now I understand. I was confused when I saw that. Now I know. Your the man with the plan.
+Stephen Kopunek It's clearly quite a bit weaker. It would appear that Hephaestus is not near as good at forging in this continuity... or Aegis isn't as strong... or something. Whatever it is, the New 52 bracelets are not near as durable.

Iron man does not have the strongest metal.
+Dandfrechel Joker-Man-/4 But his suit is the most useful and coolest.
kicsnasdc True :D
but the hulk buster can take full force hits from the hulk
and the hulk could easily be considered a god like being as his power is near infinate
