🎶 Pretty Epic by Cosmo
We bought a 2020 Aliner Ranger and have absolutely loved it. We have travel all over the west the past four years and thousands of miles. Easy to tow and you can camp and go just about anywhere. Still loving it. Getting ready to travel out west again in September to Yellowstone. Highly recommend the Aliner.
Love to hear this! Have fun out there. We were in Yellowstone a few weeks ago - safe travels 🥰
My wife and have the same model and year, with a few different options. We love it. It is our"tiny house" for several months each year.
Thanks for thevideo.
Happy trails! 👍👍
Thanks for sharing 🎉 Have a great year.
Congrats on your Aliner! We just got one for our 20th anniversary! We're loving ours!
Congratulations on your 20th anniversary! Enjoy your adventures camping! So much fun.
Good to see how the Ranger 12 has been refined over the years. My 2013 Ranger 12 has given me good service over the years pulling it to the southern Appalachians and the western Rockies from the southeast. My western trips involve a lot of backcountry travel on 4WD roads and I've never had any issues as long as I take it slow on the really rough, rocky sections of those forest service roads. Keep an eye on your spare tire mount though. The plate that attaches the carrier to the rear bumper cracked on mine and the vibration caused the spare tire to damage the rear of the trailer. Overall though, I've gotten good service from the Ranger. Hope you do too with yours.
Hi John! Thanks for sharing and thanks for the tip on the spare tire mount. We will keep a close eye. Sounds like you have had some awesome adventures. Thanks for stopping by!
Thank you for the tour and showing us how easy the set up and take down is. I am looking into renting one for a trip to Colorado.
Hey there! Thanks for the message. We hope you have a really fun time in Colorado. We used to live in Grand Junction and Breckenridge -- lots of great places to camp and hike! Safe travels.
Awesome video thank you 🙏🏾 I will be renting one of these soon and needed a visual.
Have fun out there! Be safe.
Great video. I'm currently looking for a camper and this is the top of my list. Thanks for showing set up and take down esp hooking up to your vehicle. Very helpful! Enjoy and happy camping.
Hi Karen - we hope you find the perfect camper for your adventures. We love ours! Happy camping ☀️
awesome! that one is a fast setup
We love it. Are you wanting to get one?
we're considering this RV! Thanks for the tour! (and your husband's cute : o )
Have fun out there, ya'll! It is a great camper. I hope you love it! Thank you.
great video !!
Thank you!
Nice video! I’m curious about that sway bar and how effective it is. The video only showed you hooking up up on the passenger side. Does it only go on one side?
Hi there! Thank you. It just goes on one side - it’s just one bar. We’ve only ever towed with it. The dealer recommended it. We’ve driven all over the U.S. and in all kinds of weather - we like having it 👍 Gives us peace of mind.
Great video! Do the (or some) windows slide open?
Yes, 2 open - one above the stove/sink and then the opposite side. Thanks for stopping by. Have fun out there ☀️
Nice video have you ever had any leaking problems
Thank you - no leaks at all. We’ve camped in the rain a bunch.
Great video. Thank you!
Thanks for watching! Enjoy the rest of your summer.
Great video thank you for the great information !
Thank you for watching!
Thanks for all the info!
Have fun out there!
I love the aliner campers bar none
They are really convenient and comfortable! Happy camping.
Awesome!! Thank you!! Do you still have the A??? Any issues or complaints??? We’re thinking about it.
Hey! We still have it. No issues at all. We love it 🥰
@@thehappinessfunction great news! Thank you
Thank you for this. Very well done. Question - can you change out the beds for a thicker mattress and still close the Ranger?
Hi there. Thanks for watching. We use the padding it came with and added a 3” topper and we still have to take our pillows off to lower the camper. It will lower with the 3” topper on. I’d take some measurements before buying a new mattress. I hope this helps you.
@@thehappinessfunction Thank you. As I have a very bad back I have to have a very good mattress :-) good idea to take measurements.
Do you think a short person (5'4") could get this set up and taken down alone?
Yes! Especially if it has wind bars installed.
Very helpful..thank you
Thanks for watching! Have fun camping. We also just posted how to winterize the unit. Super easy.
Are the dormers an add on option? It doesn't look like yours has any
Hi there! Ours do not have dormers. You can find models that do 👍
Very nice what may be the retail value?
This version was $20K with taxes
@@thehappinessfunction ok thanks I guessed that
How many gallons does the fresh water tank hold? Does it have a black tank or a grey water tank, if so, what are the capacities?
Hi Ray - the freshwater tank is 11-gallons. No black water tank. You have to buy your own grey water tank (for the sink).
I have been looking at these but the shorter ones don't come with any kind of toilet as far as I can tell. May I ask what your solution is for that?
Hi there! We only camp at state parks, national parks, and private campgrounds with bathhouses these days. If you’re off the grid, you can get a portable toilet - like a marine toilet.
@@thehappinessfunction Thanks!
Hi, kids !! The Airliner is awesome: have fun...Uncle Burt
Thank you so much!
Wow so nice beautiful.what is the price????
Thank you! We paid $20K for ours.
my cousins A liner leaked like crazy and lots of condensation in the winter , you having any of these problems ???
Hey there - Thanks for the question. It can get some condensation at the peak. We wipe it down in the morning with a towel or paper towel. We also try to keep the fan at the top open to help with that unless it’s super cold. But I think the big thing is just staying on top of it (wiping it off). We haven’t had any issues with leaks at all. We’ve camped in the pouring rain. Hope that helps. Just bring something to wipe it down and you should be good 👍 Happy camping!
thank you
Can you drive with the trailer up?
Hi there - no, definitely not.
@@thehappinessfunction not even at 20mph?
@@nyrubin We wouldn’t. You don't want to bend/break anything while it's set up.
@@thehappinessfunction very true
Can two adults sleep comfortably in the bed
My husband and I are 5'4", and we fit comfortably. It is a little tight if you are used to a king bed at home.
Can I ask how much they start out at
Hi there! This one was $20K. In 2020, we found a few Scouts from 13.5-15K. We liked that the Ranger has a sink and stove inside versus some of the smaller models.
@@thehappinessfunction thank you for your help with my question
Can you get this trailer with AC?
Yes! Ours has AC. The unit doesn’t stick out. It’s flat against the side of the camper.
Does it have A/C?
Yes! Works great. The unit doesn’t stick out of the side which is nice for towing 👍
Are these 4 season campers?
It depends on where you live/plan to camp. We live in Oklahoma, and we don't usually camp in the middle of summer here with it because it has trouble keeping up with the AC especially if there is no shade. I think anything over 85-90* F and you might be hot. Winter - does well up to around 30*. We haven't camped when it was under 30* or when there was snow. I hope that helps you.
How much does it cost?
We paid $20K for this one, but they range depending on the model and year.
Con i pannelli che si incastrano non c è pericolo di infiltrazioni d acqua quando c è un temporale
We haven’t had any leaks.
Can I ask why the jack rests on a cement block and wooden blocks when at the campsite? I've been putting the wheel on the jack before unhooking from the tow vehicle, and lowering the jack. Is that a problem with the weight on the wheel?
I would do the same thing you do -- keep it simple. Not sure why they use a cinder-block and other items. And I sure don't want to carry a heavy cinder-block with me!
However, I don't have a camper yet -- still in the research stage -- but there are 3 on my Short List. One of them is an ALiner Ranger 10. One huge reason is the camper I get MUST be garage-able (meaning, fit into a standard residential 2-car garage, which usually have a 7' tall door) and ALiners certainly are that. No $$$ off-site RV storage for me, thank you.
But I don't need a large camper, so a Ranger 10 will be fine (vs. a 12 or larger).

Nice thank you ?
Thanks for watching! Happy camping!
Try doing that with dormers...impossible.
Oh, good.
Two beds.
Wouldn't want you
to get my cooties.
Haha - it is nice if people need more space. We only use one and leave the dinette up. But, we have seen families of 4 using this same model.
@@thehappinessfunction
Well, here the person
is trying to hide that
they find me unattractive.
That's okay.
