I run a dac 200 straight to two PL Evo 400 power amps and there is magic every time.
So see-through and yet solid wide sound stage. Absolutely incredible.
If you're in the market for a dac you MUST try this one.

been using my dac 200 with hq player to upsample to DSD and its the best dac i have heard thus far, prefer it to dacs costing 2x to even 3x its price

I still have the Classé Ct-2300, the power, the sound, and the robustness of that beast is just amazing! I'm currently searching for a matching preamp for it
This is by far the best DAC available currently - the DSD unique 1 bit discrete converter is mind blowing. I convert all PCM to DSD256 and all the problems of digital of the past 40 years are finally gone. There is a solid mathematical reason for this improvement which is too long to go into here. Suffice to say low latency tap filters in all previous generations of DAC technology causes significant audible distortion. This Rob Watts figured this out too but T+A path separation has taken things to a whole other level.
Where is The analog out?
I think they showed the wrong back panel in the video. I see where it says ha200 rather than dac 200...

@@toddt5562, correct, it’s the HA 200 Headphone Amp back panel. Easy mistake to make as the units look so similar.
How You conect to an integrated amp?
it has both rca and balanced xlr connections
For use with a preamp or integrated amp, you can fix the volume in pass-thru mode to avoid having two volume controls in the system.
The separate DSD and PCM path is not unique, lol. Other DAC manufacturers do the same, Pure marketing jibberish.
I don’t think the word unique was used in reference to path separation. It’s the T+A DSD DAC that is unique.

@@dnauber1no... It really sounds like he's saying the fact that it doesn't convert to PCM before outputting analog like other dacs do.... And it runs through a discreet 1-bit DSD chip, that makes it unique.
