My mom put an Abricot seed 13 years ago in a pot and now we have a big tree that flowers each year but in my country it freezes so randomly so some years we don’t have fruit or a very few.( I live in Belguim)
Also live in Belgium, flanders. I have an apricot as espalier, so against a hot wall. It bears fruit every time we do not have a frost after half of april
Fun fact, seed dormancy is controlled by the hormone ABA, which is found most heavily in the seed coat. Take that off before chilling and you can have faster germinations.
My baby lemon tree will go through periods of 0 visible growth (no leaf loss or discoloration) right before it branches with a bunch of new leaves. I wonder if it takes that time to make preparations for a growth spurt? It would be interesting to see if the root activity increases during this time.
Yes, THIS! A million times this! Like, what were those white pieces on top of the soil in this video? And what type of soil for different kinds of plants, and how do you know *what* type of soil for what plant? I'm so bad at these things, but I love growing stuff and don't want to kill off my poor plants before they even got a chance to live.
Moving past the cringe comment above, they dont. Only a very small percentage does. In human assistance its like 90% success, but nature is so large that 10% in nature is larger than 90% in humanity

Most temperate fruits have a chilling requirement to break seed dormancy. You're basically simulating winter for the seed. There is a hormone called Abscisic Acid that is found in high concentrations in the seed and prevents germination, and this hormone is degraded with exposure to cold.

My apricot is now 2 years old. I am so happy you made a video about them :)
I love how complex the first shoots are!
Pretty cool, the dedication to these videos is insane

I'm on growth day 40 with my ASDA apricot seeds. How exciting! I live in a flat so I'm gifting it to my long-distance mum once it's bigger. 🥰
❤️ your videos. Can you do more with growing them with the glass you can see the roots as they sprout and grow?
Sure! i will try to get on it as soon as possible :)
Great work buddy! I love it :) Really cool that it starts growing a bunch of leaf straight from the seed
I like how the music syncs with the plant germinating🎶
Please add notes on soil, water, light etc. You make growing stuff look easy. It's not that easy.
I hit the "like" button while the pre video ad is on!!!! Love your work... thank you 😊. Cheers Ausgranny 🇦🇺🇦🇺🤶
Awesome~ so enjoyable to see it growing~👍
Thank you for sharing this video~🤗

WOW, that seedling looked amazing
immediately full of leaves. Fascinating.

👍 Nice start! Kiitos! 🐣🌷🐰😎✌️
This music makes me want to ride a beautiful horse through a field of flowers in slow motion.
Sometimes I wonder how these plants are able to reproduce in the nature without any human assistance. 😄 Awesome video once again!

What a cool plant
Also i planted some dragonfruit cactus seeds, they are growing fast because i have lamp :)
So mesmerising ❤❤
pls do a studio tour, im sure a lot of ppl are intrested too
Can you plant the seed ditectly on soil or is the 25 days in fridge important?
What grow light are you using?
All your plants grow incredibly fast... sometimes 5 times faster than the plants I grow.
Use nitrogen hahahaha (It ruins soil, so dont do It please)😅
I use grow lights from Horticulture Lighting Group. There is a direct link in the description to the light used, and a discount code ;)
I love apricots. 🥰
can the seeds grow even if the shell is not broken or for the peaches you need to get out the seed?
Whats the white things in the pot? Fertilizer stones? Potting "foam"?
did the soil disturbance have something to do with the growth stoppage?
Does apricot grow and give its fruits without being grafted like pear or apple tree? Are fruits usually small?
Thank you😊
You need to open seeds than put in towel than wet it and then put in plastic bag. So how does it grow naturally in the wild. What's the process?
How do these things grow naturally if there’s an outer shell to the seed? I don’t get why the plant would make it
what kind of soil is this? very different from our normal soil.
From where one can get that?
Amazing!
you made that look so easy. :)
Wowww!!!❤

Beautiful 😍
After how many days/months you can plant tree in garden?
Can you grow Orange or PassionFruit pls 🙏

Nice timelapse
what is the protien at the soil !?
un abricotier jolie bravo
i know some trees you have to prune them for them to keep growing
Why do you put the seeds in the fridge?
Could u do pistachio next?
Probably one of the few channels where you can't upload everyday 😅
Why put them in the fridge first? Legitimate question. Why not straight into the soil?

It would be great if he filmed the plant in a black background for oled pop.

The real challenge is clove. I tried a vendor from Sri Lanka but maybe I'm not as skilled as I thought.
Nice a new video
Why did it stop growing?
Why do I find this so interesting? I don't even know what apricot tastes like.
Like a knock-off peach, pretty much. They make a really good jam.
Its kinda sour, but with a little sugary taste. Its ok, not delicious but ok...
Yess Treees!!!
Wow
Don't refrigerate if you bought in a store. No need. I soaked 2 seeds in a bowl of water for about 5 days and they began to split and spout.
How is the mango plant?
Not doing that well at the moment, i'm trying to keep it alive so i can post the video.
How's the mango tree doing?
Not great, that's why the video is delayed :/

Where the hell was the fruit?
Dude, it would take years to produce the fruits. Only a 6-7 foot tall tree start producing trees.
Biggest reveal ever would be the channel owner coming out with timelapse videos of trees and bushes a few years from now.
