No master wanted him and he was almost forced to live out his life as basically a farming Jedi. However, Qui gon saw potential in him and Obiwan fought for every bit of ability with the force that he could get. He also wasn’t the best with a light saber in attacks so he focused on defense. His drive and approach made him one of the best with the force and the best defensive fighter of them all which is why he stood a chance against the new Vader. And though he was often sarcastic he was extremely humble at heart which turned him into the an amazing negotiator. In my opinion he’s still underrated all things considered.

In starwars lore there are several planets and obiwan is named after wanobi and kenobi. Both planets in the vacanity of tattooine. Both of which experienced the destruction of alderaan and tattooine with the death star.
If only his parents could’ve seen what their baby boy had become. I’m sure they would’ve been very proud. However there’s a good chance since Jedi get to keep their birth names, that they heard of a General Kenobi during the Clone Wars, and knew it was their son.
Do the Jedi ever tell not just Obi wan here but every Jedi they take as a child the planet they came from or is it up to whether the Jedi himself/herself asks where he/she came from?

I forget where, but somewhere in the Star Wars novels I read as a kid, I remember it describing Obi-Wan's voice as having a "clipped Corellian accent." I like this version better though, if not just because of the wholesomeness of George Lucas making a nod to the person who first asked about it.
I'm thinking about Silent Hill games it seems like one of those in the series and I've got favorites like Silent Hill 2. & 3 Downpour and Homecoming as well .
