If Maul killed Obi Wan instead of Qui Gonn, Anakin definitely wouldn't have turned to the Dark Side. Qui Gonn was more of a father figure while Obi Wan was the strict older brother. Anakin wouldn't have needed a reason to confide in Palpatine if Qui Gonn was his master

The fact is based on our understanding of the Jedi Order - Palpatine should never have been allowed access to Anakin till AFTER he passes the Trials to become a Jedi Knight. That's a plot hole the size of Taylor Swift's private jet.
Maybe Mace will become due to him getting angry while almost being able to kill palpatine

@@Galiant2010 The conflict is still there, it's just the hero (Anakin) wins instead of falling. Future conflicts could be any number of things, discontent remnants of the CIS, yuuzhan vong, another existential threat to the republic instead of constant civil wars (which would be a nice thing to see from disney anyways for some future content)

The plot problem in Anakin’s fall was when Palapatine told Anakin he was a Sith Lord, Anakin should have said, “ Wait, you were the Sith trying to kill Padme just a while back, and now you say you can help me save her?”
Nah, the problem is that they don't adequately show that aniken or Vader at this point knew he was being manipulated and intended on killing sidious and rulling the galaxy with padme, it's also why he destroyed the jedi and killed the younglings because he knew the jedi would not allow his rise to power.
@@codyray3344Problem was he was arrogant and lost to Obi Wan. He knew from then on that he could never challenge Palps and win with his suit being so weak to lightning. He completely trapped himself in a living hell until Luke brought him back. If he defeated Obi Wan, it wouldn’t have been long before he also defeated his new master.
@@schroederluck7984 he was fully capable of building himself better prosthetics, he deliberately chose not to because he wanted to use the constant pain he was in to strengthen his connection to the dark side.
When Palpatine had exposed himself as a Sith Lord, Anakin was tempted to kill him . Instead, he left and revealed his discovery to Mace Windu.
@@codyray3344this is absolutely correct!! It goes over viewers heads, they say how easily Anakin was manipulated and so quick to turn coat. No, Anakin had a lust for power and believed he could overtake Sidious eventually. He just needed the secret to prevent Padmes death. It was a means to an end. But once he lost the fight on Mustafar and found out Padme was dead, he had nothing else to live or fight for.
What if: Anakin was actually grooming Palpatine to think he was grooming him. So that he could know if sidious was a sith lord earlier

What a lovely and heartwarming version. As Anakin was always a slave and somewhat a victim, it was nice to see his character redeemed and for him to have the loving and caring existence that he so richly deserved.
It was a wonderful twist on what we received. Even though I love Darth Vader, I do love that Anakin received a wonderful and noble life in this version.❤
Well, he was the Force's love child with Smee, so his fall was inevitable.
Great story and completely believable. I wish this really could have happened, in a way. I think we all still ache for Anakin and Padme. If they did survive, this would be a wonderful story. I also agree, the artwork is really nice. Great job 👍

Qui Gon didn’t complete his training with the Force Priestesses, and therefore couldn’t project his body to the living. This explains why he wasn’t shown in the OT or post TPM at all. Also, in another video you had Padmé needing saving from dying in childbirth, even though Palpatine was dead and Anakin never turned, debunking both theories, that she died from a broken heart, and that Palpatine used Sith Alchemy to drain her life force.

With this balance in the force Luke and Leia would have not been born, they would more than likely would have had died at birth. Luke and Leia brought the force back into balance once Anakin went to the dark side, as Darth Vader with Darth Sidious.

What if Anakin saw through Palpatine's scheming when it was revealed Palpatine knew about Padme and Anakins worries about her, attacking Palpatine without going to the council first?

Actually the better change would have been to have Mace allow Anikan to join him when they went to confront Palpatine. Palpatine wouldn't have been able to strike first like he did with Anikan's absence. If he did strike first, he would have lost his grip on Anikan as Anikan would have seen him for what he really was. But having come to the fight late, all he saw was Mace standing over Palpatine ready to strike, making Mace look like the bad guy and the one trying to take away the one thing that Anikan saw as the only way to save Padme. We can see that Anikan regretted his action to kill Mace but his need to save Padme was greater than his regret, thus he gave himself over to the sith.
Based on the seith archs he will just become a Seith lord if he kills the seith lord. Also based on the Star Wars movie the last Jedi, Palpatine and all the seith lords before him will go into the person who kills the seith lord.
Remember... Anakin DID ignite his lightsaber when Palpatine revealed himself! That moment would have played better for a "What if" story, since Anakin was already highly skilled with a lightsaber by this time... and Palpatine would have sensed if Anakin would have arrested him, resist, and by the time he got his lightsaber in hand... Anakin would have cut him down. After having dispatched "two" Sith Lords, Anakin would probably have been made a Jedi Master... but with the precedence of dispatching his enemies, he STILL "could" turn to the dark side... so we'll see what FantasyFolklore does next!!

I got an idea so stupid it might actually work.
WHAT IF: Anakin did not pass the Palawan Trials/failed at finding a kyber crystal? Would be interesting to see how Palpatine could use this to his advantage by saying something like. “My dear boi, The Jedi rigged the trial, look at this.” Then shows some faked “evidence”
Before any replies, keep in mind, he STILL is IN the Jedi order, but just not in the traditional sense.
That might work my friends that would be an interesting story arc that will be interesting because that will definitely contribute his fall to the dark side

nothink will really change bcs the reason that the separtest won alot af battles is bcs palpatine set up the battels
Palpatine wanted the battles to be balanced to keep the war going and whittle down both sides. If Thrawn joined, he would likely become a threat to this balance and become the target of assassination. But being so slippery, he might evade Palpatine and successfully gain independence for the separatists. From there, who knows?

This is brilliant. I'm 62 and I should be above this, but it's excellent. When episode 4 came out in 1977, I was 17 years old. I never thought it'd still be so strong today all these years later. Absolutely love this alternative timeline. Thanks for posting.
My mom was in her sophomore year in high school, and my aunt was in the seventh grade. And of course, they constantly yapped over who was cuter.

I always wondered what would have happened if Windu had not pulled rank and had trusted Anakin (who had just proven his loyalty) to come along. That way, he would have been there to ensure that Palpatine was arrested, or killed if he resisted. As it was, Anakin came in to see his former friend and mentor about to be unlawfully executed, and Windu forced him to make a split-second choice between his wife and justice, and being complicit in the execution of the Chancellor. Anakin already had a crisis of conscience regarding the execution of the Tuskens and of Dooku.
Palpatine played him masterly, but it wouldn't have happened without the lack of trust shown in Anakin by Windu.
Well I can't love this any more. Anakin's journey to learn the secrets of the Force and the Jedi Order really makes sense. Well done!!

I love this WHAT IF outcome! See that's exactly what Anakin should've done, just stayed in the Jedi council chamber as Mace told him to. Then all that probably would have happened for REAL in canon!

Also, tell me someone once and for when Anakin Skywalker lost his right arm his force connection and force potential was not diminished it stayed the same right he can still reach and fulfill his true potential with or without his right arm, right

Loved the video, artwork, and voice overs! Great video, I think all of us resonate with Anakin and his trouble of choosing the right path. I like this ending better, not only cause its happy but because it makes more sense to me that Anakin would have the decernment to know palpatine was tricking him to use his power and potential for his own benefit. He even says to sidious that the sith only think inwards and are selfish. I understand this is a ficticious story and applying universal laws to it can be challenging cause its an infinite rabbit hole as you know lol but star wars has many similarities to this world and one is the power of choice. I believe its very plausable Anakin could've taken the higher ground morally lol and chose the timeline to remain loyal to the jedi and let things play out on their own only to reflect and be happy he chose correctly for his own betterment. This is the path I wouldve loved to choose if I was Anakin, may the force be with you and God bless 🙏🏻

Several of these fan artwork pieces shown here are absolutely amazing! I myself am working on getting better at drawing, especially human/humanoid forms. I’ve recently mastered drawing a human character, that being Usagi Tsukino as Sailor Moon. Now that I’ve successfully figured out how to draw a passable human character, now I need to refine the ability until I can draw any character, even from scratch. It did take a while to at least master the basics as faces are some of the more difficult things to draw accurately.

one big thing i would have loved to see, Luke meets han on Tatooine while on a mission there and instead of becoming friends, they are bitter enemies and luke makes it his sole mission to bring down the hutts and priacy in the galaxy, always tangling with han in some sort of situation but Han always escapes, and no matter where Han goes luke is always there to try and stop him.

This story could include Anakin actually rescuing his mother from Tatooine, hence no anger over her death. He becomes pals with Owen and Beru, and forms a circle of friends outside the Order.

Love this so much! I'm not too sure about Windu and Fisto beating Palpatine most of the time, but I'm sure there would be exceptions. What would be epic is a part 2 of this where Palpatine returns as a more powerful version of himself in a clone body and duels Anakin along with a new apprentice or something (being that Palpatine's maximum potential would always get outweighed by Anakin's, he'd need someone powerful alongside him to even stand a slight chance).
Without Anakin, Palpy lost in the canon. Mace had him down

Even Lucas himself went on to say in the on-screen commentary that Palpatine was feigning weakness after he fell down, and the fact that he was still able to fire powerful force lightning before AND after he got disfigured shows this to be true. He still had fight left in him, even though, to Mace's credit, he was legitimately knocked down.

I just want to say I loved this version of events! Anakin switching to the dark side never made sense to me because his killings were always righteous indignation. I don't believe anyone hated the dark side more than Anakin. He was more of a gray Jedi or traditional Jedai after the path of Master Qui Gon Jin though. But this account makes a lot more sense to me. Is not realistic for one to join something one hates...now bitterness often places one on the opposing same extreme (like the female Jedi counselor in the Days Darth Revan)

It seems rushed in the movies, but it makes sense. Anakin feels the council is holding him back. He also considers Palpatine to be a close friend, someone he can truly trust, unlike the other Jedi. The Jedi fail to help Anakin save his mom, and Anakin has tons of childhood slavery trauma and trauma from the war. He also thirsts to be the best and doesn’t understand why the council won’t grant him the title of master. He decides that he’s lost enough, and in his selfishness and rash thinking, he saves Palpatine from Windu, and there’s no going back.

In canon very few people knew their true parentage. Yoda, Obi-wan, and Bail. By the end of VI they all died. Bail presumably would have told Leia if he were alive. Yoda and Obi-wan never had any intention of revealing their parentage. They could have, as force ghosts, revealed who the mother was. Yoda wouldn't have, but Obi-wan would have dropped clues that would lead them to the right answer.
It's more likely that Luke would have found this information on his own. In legends canon he researched Anakin Skywalker shortly after events of RotJ and just chose to not tell Leia any of it for years. There would have been ample stories of him galivanting around with Padme and the Force would reveal to him that she was his mother.
Man. That was ABSOLUTELLY FANTASTIC. Worth of a totally different history of Star Wars, a meaningfull one.

I like this story better than sidious tricking anakin into becoming a sith. Never made much sense to me how his transformation to Darth Vader was so fast!

As much as I want a happy ending for Anakin and Padme, I don’t think Anakin really fulfils any ‘chosen one’ prophecy in this alternate ending. Mace defeats the Sith in this alternate ending.
We it be amazing if the Star Wars was just Anakin feeling the future! Then he would be able to make the correct choices. All he ever wanted was a family but he never got one. Not a real one.
