Most detailed and nicest looking map - Pinehurst. Unfortunately it's also the worst map to play on as it is so heavily slanted in Jason's favor. So much so it's not even fun to play as Jason because you know you're going to wipe the floor with them. Even a negative water speed Jason the boat has no chance of getting out. Best balanced map is Higgins Normal when the shack spawns on the island. if you're going for the Jason kill, which sadly is the easiest way to succeed as a counselor, you actually have to earn it or the Jason is a complete potato.

I can’t find myself complaining about any map, sure it can be a bitch sometimes to lose because the map is very Jason oriented, but I’m a huge horror fan, and Gun really put in all the detail to make every map feel true to the movies they belong to.

The only good maps are the launch maps. Pinehurst/Jarvis favor Jason way too much and the Small Maps favor Counselor unless they have newbs or braindead players. The original 3 have good layouts, randomized boats and cars and enough size to make both Jason and Counselor have to work depending on RNG.
Medic, Hypochondriac, and Thick Skin are the best perks in the game. I equip all my counselors with it. Any other perks are a waste of a perk spot in my opinion.
I respectfully disagree with your statement but I respect your opinion nonetheless. I love Higgins Haven map. The house and the barn are pretty much spot on exact replicas of the sets in the movie. Other then the barn not having an upstairs. It's pretty detailed and true to the movie.
Pisses me off how this lawsuit’s killed the game and put the franchise in purgatory. I used to love playing this and Dead by Daylight together, but now I’m actually considering uninstalling Friday the 13th. This game could be doing so well and be so far ahead developed with maps, characters, perks and what not with a growing fan base, yet instead the two sides couldn’t work something out and get their shit together. I don’t care who’s at fault. If they really gave a damn about the franchise instead of arguing over money, they wouldn’t have let the fans down like this just as interest for the series picked up again after all these years.
I said “fuck the police” depending on the Jason. If it’s a meh Jason don’t escape that way it’s cheap. But if it’s a good Jason, that immediately cuts the power and all that, you need it’s pressure

Most definitely. I'd like a Jason X map at the Crystal Lake Research Facility with the cryogenic pod. Only way to kill Jason is to get him in there and freeze him. Add Jason X to the game as well (Not Uber Jason). The Jason that's in a good majority of the movie.
if any of my party get map control, we ignore pinehurst and jarvis house. the maps feel way too big and everything is too spread out Aesthetics are on point though, can't fault them there

Really good ranking guys though I personally would put Higgins above the Jarvis map.
Not a fan of Pinehurst as I think it's far to big but any other map I like, favourite is the Jarvis map though, looks pretty.
