Removing ASPALHT with MILLING MACHINE and VOLVO | Public Work | Farming Simulator 22 | Episode 22

- Today we are at Waldstetten and we have to remove asphalt from the train station where we replaced the pipes and filled the hole. We started by getting a call from the contractor and then talking with our accountant. When that was done we jumped into a Mercedes Sprinter and headed to the job location to have a meeting with the contractor. After we arrived there, we parked the van and then talked with the contractor. We made a plan of action and then we jumped into a Volvo FH16 dump truck and moved out of the place where we were going to mill the asphalt. Then we jumped into Volvo EWR150E and we moved the buckets and excavator out of the place. When everything was ready, we jumped into the van and returned back to the HQ. After we got back to HQ, we parked the van and then we jumped into the Volvo FH16 semi-truck and detached the trailer from it. Then we headed to the contractor's HQ to pick up the piece of equipment that we needed for today. When we arrived at this HQ we parked the truck in position and then we talked with him. He got the Wirtgen W 130 CFi asphalt milling machine loaded onto the Schwarzmuller Low Loader 3A trailer. So we attached the low-loader trailer to the truck and we headed to the job location. After we got there, we parked in the position and then we unfolded the ramps and unloaded the milling machine. We got the machine into the position and then we set it up. When that was done, we jumped into the Volvo FH16 dump truck and detached the trailer from it. Then we got it in position in front of the milling machine. The worker will drive the truck and we will operate the milling machine. After everything was ready, we jumped into the milling machine and started milling the old asphalt. We did a couple of passes and we got the truck full, so we parked the mill and then jumped into the truck. We transported the asphalt to the mine where we unloaded it and where it going to get reclyed. Then we returned back to the job location and finished removing asphalt. When we finished, we loaded everything back up and we transported the mill back to the contractor's HQ. In the end, we got paid 15.000 euros for removing old asphalt and transporting the mill.

Hi CamPeR, I was really looking forward to this new episode in Waldstätten and am now curious what you will experience and do today. That was interesting to see, I've never seen such an asphalt milling machine in real use, it was great to be able to see it that way. 😉 I've already seen an asphalt layer in use, that was interesting to see.
