A Turgo turbine is a variant of a Pelton turbine, the efficiency is the same. The rotor of a Turgo turbine is not difficult to manufacture as the Pelton with twins of buckets. The Turgo turbine can also handle a higher water flow compared to a same sized Pelton turbine.
