    I will never vote Liberal. Also Conservatives and other governments around the world 🌎 are raising retirement because people are living way longer. Vote Conservatives 🗳 ☑️

    Yup. People are living 12 years longer on average since the original retirement age was created (69->81). So it was originally created with only 4 years of support needed (on average). Now it has to support 16 years (on average). So a 400% increase in duration. The PCs proposed an extremely logical 12.5% increase in working term to support that.
    It's just math... which explains why the Liberals and NDP don't understand it.

      @@what-the-eff-jeff ... what's your point? That has nothing to do with PP, and everything to do with the golden handshakes that parliament members give themselves that are based on a term (duration) of service.
