    A builder put one of those in my 6.0 4l80e swap.....it's getting yanked no O2 sensors and it caused shift issues. PSI also seals the wires into the PCM.

    I just bought a psi harness for multec injectors and 4l60e for 98 bucks and it’s working perfectly. I did get the plastic wrapping and it’s looks really cheap .

    I know I’m late for this video, but I know a guy that uses only these harnesses. I’m gonna watch your video again so I can catch the guy name you said build harnesses. I’m a cheapo but I also know that it’s important to at least have good wires.

    I had this exact harness saved in my watchlist on ebay and they through me an offer of $159.99 and I couldnt pass it up! Just got it running yesterday and so far so good, I just have to figure out how to hook into it to log my Wideband O2 sensor with Hptuners.

      @@MrGto05 mine has been working great, you sure its the harness and no the tune or sensor? a data log might help you se whats going on. As for me im really wishing i would have just went with a holley setup to begin with since im boosted, After buying a wideband sensor, 2 step controller, unlocking the PCm and spending countess hours learning to half way tune with HP tuners Im in it just as much as a Terminator X would have cost.

    Hello, I have one of Nathans harness for a 2003 5.3, no trans and I cant figure his instructions for the Underdash wires. I tried to talk to him but his Google translate isnt very good. Can you help? Brown wire goes where? Black says Speedo on Module? White says Tach, thats basic. Im not using his 2 fan wires. orange says park Neutral, description says To Ground in Park or Neutral? Purple says Brake signal to 12v Brake not apply??? Im not using Grey or Pink, Multiple Black wire, chassis ground, basic. Red Fuel pump relays, should just go to 12v key on? Also has a Black/Red wire that has "Tacho" on it, not sure if that is the same as White Tach wire? Thanks for any help!

    Ordered a Nathan Wei harness and the o2 sensors were not hooked up correctly. I haven't check the tach wire but I have a feeling that's wrong as well because it's not reading correctly after hooking it up. Just found out the map sensor might be wrong also...for 300 bucks I could of just paid another 200 and got the psi harness or a BP automotive one. Or just bought the $80 ebay harness and rewire it myself be4 I hooked it up... 4/10 would not recommend.

      That’s definitely a good option if you’ve got the time and are on a tight budget. LT1swap.com has great info to help with that.

  • @general23cmp

    Did you find the extended length was necessary or would it have made it under the dash without it? Also, the two red wires that tie to the starter, are they fused at near the ends (hard to see)? You’d really want a fuse near that starter connection.

    • @LowbuckLS
      @LowbuckLS  2 года назад +1

      I don’t have it installed yet but I think the extra length will be necessary. The power wires aren’t fused but that is a good point, I plan on installing either fuses or fusible links near the starter connection to protect the main power leads. I also will have my hands on an American made harness for comparison soon.

    • @general23cmp
      @general23cmp 2 года назад

      @@LowbuckLS Thanks. I look forward to hearing your comparison. I’m strongly considering one of Nathan’s harnesses. One American harness I saw had fusible links built-in near the starter, so I was curious about that. I’m interested in the authenticity/quality of the connectors compared to others, too.

    To use this harness with Drive by Wire would I just need a DBW pedal or would I still need the additional module (you can tell I'm new to all this)? Have LQ4 6.0 DBW engine/ECU that's going into a 71 Nova.
