new abandoned church This one was so cool to see. You could tell inside that no one has been in there for a while but it still had some power!
This was an unexpected adventure that we hope you all enjoy!!
Comment where we should go next! 😝
I was kid I went there back in1978
I would say this place isn't fully abandoned. It's obvious the property is still being maintained. (the up to date calendar on the wall near the end kinds proves someone has been inside the building recently. Plus the lawn is mostly taken care of and not overgrown).
This church is definitely not in use right now though. Expired food in fridge and cobwebs everywhere indicates the place hasn't been in use for quite awhile. Still being maintained though. Possible the congregation moved to a new building or something and they haven't sold the property and are still maintaining it?
So I'd say closed down but not abandoned.
The grass is mowed
I live up the road in Colesburg ky
Power on, grass cut; not abandoned.
If even the electricity is on and the technology, etc., maybe it hasn't been left behind? :) Open the door - people are believed to be so God-fearing that they don't go to loot :)
Where in Kentucky?
@@pixiegrace1996 Elizabethtown!
Well, you went in the middle of the week when people don’t go to church. Plus, a lot of churches leave their sanctuary doors open. It’s an old church, and it’s going to have that smell. There’s no dust on the pews or lectern. Nope, not abandoned.
@@peggywoodard4162 then how do you explain the food in the fridge that is several months expired and the cobwebs throughout the church? Most churches do not leave their doors unlocked, otherwise everything inside would be stolen. Try again.
Ummm you hear so much about, I don't want to write it, but maybe look for some missing people?? Pretty weird guys.
What state is this in?
@@schellens08 middle of Kentucky
