You can see why they've been able to work and create with each other as long as they have. Extremely natural connection which results in a great listening. Also interesting to hear how Stewart Lee differentiates between himself and his stage presence in the same way as Johnny Vegas does. Both fantastic in their own right.
Will someone release the Glam Metal Detectives commercially please? Or bootleg it? Please and thank you. This is such a compelling show. The graduate level course for which the WTF interview might serve as an introduction. So happy with this. Thank you Herring and Lee.
Jason Spiro Well guys, "nice" was part of the hippie cognoscenti zeitgeist here in the US mid-nineties, but the idea of sui generis is heartening as usual.
Lee and Herring, and Mayall and Edmondson, see you in NYC c. 2025-2030? Sure you'd have to split the money--or arrange some slightly uneven split--but think of the purpose you'd serve or the enduring cultural value you'd impart.
Jason Ive been wanting to know the name of a 90's tv show for years and I think this is it!!!Thank you so much for this comment man. Wiki suggests KYTV also, so one of them is bound to be the channel surfing show I vaguely remember. Thanks again man, you've made my day
1:01:00 very true. Like Monty Python and the Holy Grail is a spoof of Camelot the musical. But the thing is no one under 60 has ever seen Camelot the musical so half the jokes are about something no one has heard of.
@@nifralo2752 I just thought it was sending up the genre in general. Similar to Airplane!, which was pretty much a remake of the straight movie Zero Hour!, even though most of the audience didn't realise at the time

I liked the audio but the pictures of 2 lesbians in the 90s is a bit disconcerting.
Those 2 lesbians from the 90s have certainly let themselves go.
Great to hear Limmy's Show mentioned. And correctly titled!
Richard's explanation of how he does twitter is brilliant, great to hear them together!
Goodness me. Richard Herring's Grandfather's Handcrafted ventriloquist dummy has let himself go.
Nice to hear Richard make Stew cackle like that.
Is that a euphemism?
“Prince Andrew, he’s alright”...
apparently the CIA have let him go.
@@forgive7449 Prince Andrew's let himself go
The BBC has let Stewart Lee go.....
Sonds like General Ratko Mladić has let himself go.
Someone had to be first.
LOL, it's particularly ludicrous when it's only audio because the original comment was based on visual appearance!

That's not true is it? Typing it into RUclips comments doesn't make it anymore true.
You know that's not really your kid, right?
omg the ventriliquist dummy story - pmsl

I love the way the idea of luck and chance is addressed and then revisited with the "justice" anecodote. "Justice or Just Ice"? "As it were."

Is there a video of this, or just the audio? (I can only find Stewart's TMWRNJ appearance on RH's channel)
There is but you have to buy the Fist of Fun DVD from www.gofasterstripe.com to see it. Or wait till someone puts it on youtube
I listened to the audio whilst watching 5 episodes of Chucklevision. It seemed to work quite well.
