@@wearepaulineofficialchanne6880 really? One time there was a pro social (fun activity day, a 7th and 8th grade softball game) at my middle school and I requested this song and my friend Ethan was sitting on the bleachers watching me dance and sing this song! I'll never forget that day.
@@wearepaulineofficialchanne6880 it was on a stage in the gymnasium where the game was taking place and before the song started, I told him, "Get ready! Here it comes!" (Song begins) and I'm singing the song and my other friends are dancing around me!
English Version
I don't know why so many people are shocked that there is a Japanese version, it's literally in the game

Just found out that the English singer Kate Higgins voices Sakura in Naruto. Huh. Both of them are very talented singers, Kate Higgins looks like she could play Pauline if they did a real life action movie/show
She also voices Saber in the very first Fate Stay Night anime by DEEN before someone else took her role.
She also voices Tails from Sonic Games (a few)
Kate Higgins is the lead singer in her own jazz band. She probably does break this out every once in a while.

Heard “ai wo uta” and frantically started rewinding to see if I heard it correctly, damn. I’ve heard that version a few times but never noticed the mention of love songs in any way until now.
The Japanese version is more about Pauline and Marios relationship while the English Version is about everybody being superstars. At least I understood it that way :D

Understanding both I give it to english, the Japanese lyrics are beautiful but they don’t really fit with a Mario game. Both of them sound amazing though

I think the english version was done before the japanese one and both were given different lyrics.
When translating songs the lyrics always have to change somewhat so that it rhymes in all of the different languages. What rhymes in English doesn’t rhyme in other languages

A lot of times there isn't really a direct translation of the lyrics that works in song form in the other language. Its probably easier to write separate lyrics than try to make some approximate translation of the japanese lyrics fit in english.

Looking for the japanese version was so dang hard to find. Like, honestly, yeah it’s in the game but the only japanese Mario song I was able to find when the game came out was the song that plays in the last lvl with Bowser. So for those who get angry at others for just now discovering this, this is the reason why.
Also the English version was made first. And…it plays on the radio? Since when? It on,y played the English version and the Moon lvl song both English and Japanese. That’s it. Unless you mean when changing the language of the game to Japanese which I never did that tbh 🤷🏾♀️.

I like both, I guess. If the sound was dramatically different, like if the Japanese one were more electric Blues I'd like it more. Meh
