    *🤪🤪Great value for the money. Got this for my son and **MyBest.Kitchen** he made a 3 lb beef tenderloin for Christmas dinner. 😊😊😊Best filet I've had outside a top end steakhouse. ✅✅✅So good, I bought 2 for myself.*

    I don’t toss the egg in the cooker either because it makes it harder to clean. I put a little bit of butter in the bottom microwave that and then move that around in the space. Then I crack one egg and pierce it with a fork add salt and pepper. Put the lid on and microwave at one minute take it out let it stand while I make my toast, then open the top and pour the egg into the plate. It’s perfect.

    It’s more suited for 1 egg. I love it. With 1 egg the lid stays one. I love 💕 that it’s not made from toxic materials. That’s why I purchased it. 😊👍

    Used mine this morning for the first time. Super easy & handy. (I actually got no egg shell in my eggs, something I usually end up with, unfortunately.) Will give me a much needed alternative to the very high sodium frozen egg breakfasts I have been eating since I had to cut down on the high carbohydrate breakfasts.

    thank you for this video! I picked up one similar to this at the thrift store but had no clue what it was but decided that for less than $1 it was a cute item....fast-forward a year later and find this video! Now eating yummy eggs even as I type! The seal on mine does not stay in place so working on how to correct that but again thanks for sharing this! My tummy is happy

      A smidgen of butter or a little cheese, and don't cook as long- microwaves vary but if you overcook you get weird, dry, spongy mess lol

    Mine explodes frequently. I've tried other microwaves. I had a pampered chef rep try exactly the way I cooked my eggs. EXPLOSION. She did not understand why. The lid blasts off and egg contents all over the microwave. Such a hassle. Unsure how to stop this.

      Try setting your power at 50%-75% so that it will cycle on an off during the cooking. That should keep the steam from over building.

      Hi Heather! Thank you for your comment. I'm sorry you're having trouble with your egg cooker. It's one of our most beloved products. Have you contacted your consultant about the problems you're having? If the one that you received isn't working properly, maybe he/she can get it replaced for you? The egg cooker comes with a 1 year guarantee. Hope this helps!

      Thx for the reply. I like the concept so want to make it work. I don’t think it’s faulty. Just need to experiment maybe. Lower power level. Or cover with a paper towel instead....

      @@thesportmom a reply above suggested setting your microwave to 50-75% power, so it cycles on & off throughout the cook time, keeping too much steam from building up.

    Does the lid just sit on top of the cup? Mine does not 'push in' but just sorta lays on top and I am unsure if this is correct.

      How about the old style ceramic egg cooker with metal screw on lid. Must have to put it in boiling water to cook the egg inside. Trying to find how it is done. I don’t use a microwave. I would send a picture but can’t on this message

      I just got one and the lid doesn’t really seal it pops up after a few seconds. . . I guess it just seals when you hold it down to shake it but when you let go it just kind of sits on the top.

    IF you take it to work with the cooked eggs in it, is it hard to clean out the egg later?

    • @PamperedChefMelissaShaw
      @PamperedChefMelissaShaw  5 лет назад

      Hi Suzanne! Thank you for the question! Of course, if the remnants of your eggs sit in the egg cooker for a while, they will harden a bit to the sides of the egg cooker. With warm soapy water and a little washing it cleans up beautifully. It is also dishwasher safe which does a fantastic job. Thank you for your question! Take care :)

      Hi Eve! I have personally only used mine for microwave cooking, however when I look it up on the Pampered Chef "use and care" for it it does say that it is heat safe up to 450 degrees in a microwave, conventional and convection oven. It is not to be used under a broiler or a direct heat source. Thank you for the question! Have a happy day!

    • @elogiud
      @elogiud 3 года назад

      @@PamperedChefMelissaShawMelissa, thank you for your prompt response. I wonder how long one would need to bake at 450 in the oven; I also wonder if it would be too hot to remove when finished. I received this as a Christmas gift and I do not microwave food. Thanks again for your input.
