in an alternative universe where advance wars became a huge mainstream hit and even had andy, hawke, kanbei, olaf and eagle represent in smash bros ultimate, intelligent system release a gacha mobile game of advance wars girls, where all the vehicle units were girls and you buy and upgrade them to fight in your wars.
Fire emblem by web was still a very niche low key site for the niche fire emblem fans to play on underground.
In this alternate universe did NCH end up making fire emblem animations instead? Because the trade off might not be worth it but then again having a UR Missile-chan might be worth it.

I just love how everyone besides the infantry and the medium tanks are happy there. The infantry probably because they don't get a warm meal from the APC's

It's an medium, not yet an heavy tank or an super heavy tank
My favorite part of this is finding out that the vehicle girls are all actually twice as large as a foot soldier. I knew they were like this because of the APChan videos but seeing them ALL be huge was great.
Man i wish i could get these as modded models in the actual game.

Haha, I love how Black Hole's light tank is all frozen and single, like the only survivor of Olaf's anger after seeing his hometown is destroyed by a certain genious but devilish and flirty girl

The Katyushas having cat ears is hilarious to me.
seems like this is a really artistic coincidence cause in the AW sprite of bluemoon rockets, theres 2 headlights ontop of the truck, where I interpret them as headlight cat ears for my design of the girl. little I know the actual name is "Katyushas" with the cat in its name as a pun.
boy they must be moving really slow for Missile-chan to be keeping up with the tanks on plains

I am always so very glad to see you post Advance wars content. I discovered you with the Hunter world animation despite not playing it and loved it anyway but Advance wars is my childhood and seeing you do it justice is always a dream come true.

Blue moon has alwas been my favourite nation. It has the most fun COs, both in gameplay and personality. Love the animation!
That one Black Hole tank-chan ran out of fuel in the snow is just the cherry on top! Beautiful!

So, being that everyone uses the same neo-tanks, technically, does that mean its just the black hole design but with a different girl in the same armour each time and a changed symbol befit the correct army? (Blue Moon probably just painted over, Orange Star gave it a whole new coat of paint, Green Earth put a proper plate on the old symbol with theirs instead and yellow/Golden Comet just covered the neo-tank in banners?)
Reboot Camp actually changes it so that everyone DOESN'T use the same Neotanks. They all have unique differences (most apparent with replacing the back rails of the original design with exhaust pipes by most nations, and a fuel tank by Blue Moon.
The infantry, medium tanks, and flag bearers seem incredibly unhappy about being in that weather LOL

It took me longer than it probably should have for me to realize that some of the foot soldiers were actually vehicles. Nicely done on this animation.

The idea to give PPSh with box magazine to troops was amazing!
Looks like all the units are slightly faster than the flag carriers, so I'm picturing them getting trampled just off screen.

At first after the Md tanks rolled by I wondered why there were no Neotanks next, but after thinking on it a moment I realized that all faction's neotanks look the same so they dont have the unique faction flavor to warrant inclusion in a faction march and neos are only unlocked later in the campaign anyway so it makes sense to save time and energy by not including them here.
neotanks are after all, from black hole, a Blue moon neo tank would still be a blackhole neotank girl design, but just painted blue, maybe a pasted on blue moon symbol over the black hole symbol

Blue moon, have a metal plates in the unions of the wheels? And instead have container behind
Green Earth have more armor and use tube of the md tank.
And yellow comet looks more primitive like was made with a tons of metal plate 🤓
@@NCHProductions Still, as brayansoto points out, in the Reboot Camp each nation's Neotanks have slightly different designs, of course, they're still mostly unchanged from their original Black Hole counterpart (Round main hull, 4 wheeled "legs", big-ass cannon right in front, and an MG sticking out from the top left side of the vehicle (or from the right from the vehicle's POV)), but they do have distinct differences in both their construction and side-profile (most notably right at their back where the exhaust port and (presumably the engine) is located).
Frankly, I kinda like that small change compared to the lazy copy-pasting and color change they did in the original as it shows that even though each nation figured out how to make a Neotank, they've still had to independently figure out how to not only adapt their military industry to accomodate for their production (and by proxy the assembly process which led to different construction finishes for each nation) but also to incorporate their own tech within said design so it would be far more compatible with both armaments and spare parts from already existing vehicles within each nation's armies to ease maintenance and logistics on a macro-scale (no pun intended). Not to mention try and "improve" or at least adapt the Neotank's design so it fits within each army's doctrines and to help their new crews to more easily get used to this brand-new vehicle and cut down on training time and therefore use them much sooner against the Black Hole army.
Anyway, long-story-short, I still believe it'd be very interesting to see how you interpret the design for each nation's Neotank Girls and how different they'd look compared from each other since, let's face it, they'd still have to fit with the "trend" each army has, like Orange Star with it's US army-inspired combination of form and (mostly reliable) function, Blue Moon with it's clothes adapted to the nation's more frigid landscapes, Green Earth with it's focus on professionalism and organization of it's armed forces, and Yellow Comet's unique aesthetic combination of retro-Japanese military tech with the Advance Wars Universe.
(Maybe the Med. Tank girls see a Black Hole Neotank girl, get fascinated and/or jealous by it, and try and dress up like her, ending up as Neotank girls themselves for their respective nations)

Tbf in AW2, Neotank are optional since it requires the player to capture the city where the access to the lab is hidden (and there's no difference with that property from the regular ones).

There is no difference in the original AW2. Reboot Camp changed the Neotanks so that each nation has specific physical adjustments that distinguish them from the other nations and Black Hole. Though they aren't as physically different as the regular tanks.

So my very best guess is that :
Orange Star will have mostly navy (including the Aircraft Carrier and the Stealth fighter, even though it's meant to be the Allied Nations, but else they wouldn't fit anywhere else)
Green Earth will have the Skies AND the Mega Tank (canonically, they're the ones who invented it)
Yellow Comet...I really don't know.
Black Hole will have the Neo Tank, Black Bomb, Black Boat, Piperunner and Oozium/Mortium 238.
I would hve argued that at least a strong cobatter like the med tank be put a bit further back in the rank so as to provide support and protection to our long range and AA troops incase any close encounters. hell some of the recons around there would be nice. but I guess presentation wise its quite intimidating and powerful. cheers
