  • I like picking wafer locks, they are relatively easy to pick and rake and there are lots of them around to practise on (make sure they are yours and not in use!). In this video, I'm going to pick a new car ignition switch, which is a type of wafer lock. I have to use a strong tension tool to get past the spring tension that's on the lock core. My pick of choice is a GOSO rounded hollow half diamond.

Businesses have lots of doors locked with good locks that aren't so easy to pick. And all the keys are locked away in cupboards with simple one sided wafer locks. :/

If you people don't like how much he talks, watch someone's videos that talks less...youll probably learn less too. Keep up the good work brother!

I'll never understand why people complain about free, thoroughly made videos that teach them something they'd otherwise have no clue about.

Why does they think people watch tutorials? If I need the assistance of a tutorial I am in need all the help I can get.

Would there be any way to make a new key for this lock?

    • @Sl0oMo0-y1t

Yes. Automotive locksmiths have a few different ways to make keys for vehicles, including this one shown here.

@@LockNoob Great demo. Please, talk as much as you are. I'm learning a lot from you. The LockPickingLawyer is great for watching lock-picking and learning some things. Your videos, I find, are much better for actually learning lock-picking. You, BosnianBill's videos, and some others. Great resource. Thank you for all the videos.
