My first ever Plug 'n Play, good memories with these games. I loved seeing the Spider in Centipede, laughed hard at the clown hitting the ground in the Circus game, and Yars' Revenge scared the hell out of me for some reason. Good stuff...
LOL - "free roaming post-it note" :D Surprised they put so many paddle games on the system as they're unplayable with the joystick. I really like RS Volleyball. Great review :)
I really enjoyed this. I had 🕹this way before I got a Flashback, then moved on to a Retron 77, then finally a 7800. It really helped fan the flames of my love for the original Atari.
This is my first Atari 2600 Plug n Play that I had when I was a 7 year old child since 2008 I play my favorite Atari 2600 Games Asteroids, Centipede, Missile Command, Gravitar, Breakout, Yars Revenge, Pong and Circus Atari. That I play 2 arcade game that I play at home was Centipede and Missile Command after I play at Triple Games on Cabinet at Chuck e Cheese.
i gave this i noticed adventure and few others are bit different - i wish i had bezerk also the bridge is purple and the catacomes you see the orange walls as the floor instead of a orange light and grey room the color of yellow key is lt orange
Theres a debug mode!!! Hold select, start, and fire after turning it on. Press select and start together to go straight into each game in alphabetical order. After missile command, press start then select to go back to adventure.
I had gotten this Plug-n-Play new a number of years ago. In spite of the sound issues, I thought it was pretty good. Graphically, it was more accurate than the first Atari Flashback. On bone picking issue I had though was with Adventure. It still had the Easter Egg room, but it was empty. The "Created by Warren Robinett" had been removed.
The first time I've ever played Atari is on this majestic plug and play. (The plug and play is an NES-on-a-Chip, and I'm more familiar with Nintendo than Atari.) By the way, nice job on the review of this unit!
"and no matter how well you do eventually you will be destroyed" Assuming you mean game over and not just losing a life, I have to disagree. I was playing 2600 Asteroids one day and I played so long I rolled over the score counter twice. I just couldn't get a game over (extra lives helped). Eventually I just shut it off because it was getting so boring!
If ET is one of the worst games someone has played, that person has been lucky. I've played 2 ET games worse than that: one for the Gameboy Advance and another one made for the Amiga. That game is given way too much credit for it's supposed awfulness. I wonder if that racing game was supposed to be based on Digital Derby?
oh my goodness... what is wrong with me? why does it bother me that the one thing children should not handle is actually two things(screwdrivers and batteries)😞

Just picked up an Atari flashback 3, pac-man Plug 'n play and this Atari Plug 'n Play all for $10 at a garage sale
I remember my dad buying me one of these when i lived with him one summer. I loved atlantis and adventure. I was also pretty good at asteroids
My first console

AtariLeaf
I thought the same thing. Paddle games in the joystick was not the best idea. Plenty of popular joystick titles they could have chosen.
Woo I'm getting this soon - not one of them - THIS ONE! :D

There is a new one and it is the entire console not just the controller and I'm getting it for Christmas
But what does the dummy console do?
Hu Flung Dung Yes

the spider moves all wierd in centipede on the 10 in 1 compared to the atari 2600 version
they do still make them but I'm not sure its by jakks pacific I bought one at Wal-Mart a few days ago
Actually, the new version is a bit different as it includes different games and some of the same games have different sounds and such.
Yea, I read up on it and its made by a company called basic fun
How many of these games are multiplayer?
On this version, none since it only allows for one player.
Why not a 5200 Plug and play? Why just 2600 games?
Starts of with “adventure” the first first Zelda
Pong and Circus Atari without a paddle controller? Meh...not the best titles to include in this unit.
Mine doesn’t work:(
What's the name of the cube game
Adventure!
😅😅😅😅 my recall is a lil different bcz I played Asteroids and Yars Revenge on a 13" BLACK n WHITE TV!!!
"and no matter how well you do eventually you will be destroyed"

I have this working yet and it's like 20 years old
And the second one is “super breakout “ not just break 0ut. Good video though
My favorite game is Asteroids
WTF, No pacman.

Literally just got it
Its 2018
Do you get this older version, or the newer version that just hit store shelves last year?
I'm 11 and I have one of these and they say kids today don't like old games
I'm glad when the current generation gives retro games a try.
The No Swear Gamer same, back when micro-transactions weren't a thing
@@thenosweargamer1449 I’m 14 & i LOVE RETRO GAMES!!!!! I’ll play Pac-Man, Asteroids, even Pong!!!!! (I agree)
The joystick on this unit is terrible and I'm not a fan of the NOAC hardware. So, Namco wins for me.
🤗😊👍 awesome
Got a first edition one its shit and doesn't work anymore
Nope it still exists
Actually, the one at stores now is different. I plan on reviewing it in a couple weeks.
The No Swear Gamer how it still has 10 games and is shaped like the joystick
It was made by a different company and has some different games on it .
The No Swear Gamer ok thnx also do a review of a spongebob plug and play
Gradicktar :v
