Just a thought, if you wanna keep using the arkham as your main you could totally pop a different head on the regular release here and have an easy riddler goon
Even as somebody who has a graded copy of riddler’s first silver age appearance, this still to me is not my definitive OG classic riddler. To me, riddler has a bowler hat, blazer and purple mask and gloves. I do not see riddler as buff in spandex, never have. I still much prefer my mcfarlane arkham version of riddler at this time, so ill pass on this.

He's not 100% perfect but he's close and gives me the old school figure vibes also.
I'm happy to have him.
I do like the arkham riddler better, but he's right at home with my comicbook batman figs.

I've been wanting to get this Riddler. I'm glad you gave it a good review. In my action figure purchasing world, you're the man. I don't spend a penny until I hear from Josh. You've saved me a lot of cash.
I much prefer Riddler in his suit and tie designs, but the spandex is his main iconic look in my eyes even though it's not my favorite, and the lime green with black question marks is my favorite version of that design.
I can't wait to get my hands on it, it doesn't fit with say the Arkham Scarecrow or Penguin, but the Mr. Freeze, Knightfall Catwoman and 3 Jokers Clown should mix pretty well with him. Plus the idea of him literally being just a guy in tight spandex kind of adds to the insanity of him, it's so goofy but he's out there doing such diabolical things. Plus he'll definitely draw eyes on the shelf compared to the other darker grittier villain designs. Add all the extra hands and the expressive head sculpt, this is a win for sure.
That cane is definitely Batman Forever Jim Carrey Riddler model. Hoping Batman Forever figures are coming along with the announced B & R movie ones.

Oh man, I have the Arkham riddler as my main one in my rogues but this one does bring back memories, still on the fence about getting it but Im so tempted.

I really like this figure! I like the facial expression and the onesie style Riddler with the cane. I appreciate all the hands and today is the first time seeing the Gold label but I like the standard, brighter green better with the black question mark. Great review, I need one!

While this is no doubt the best Riddler figure in YEARS, possibly since a Classics one, is he not a little too jacked for the Riddler? I'm thinking the Project Superman body should've been the one reused for Riddler. Starting to look like McFarlane is giving us these figures with more gesture hands, so that is a huge step forward for him compared to just getting the figure, and sometimes no accessories!
Edit: Despite the amazing openings of Josh From Before and Brad the DC Universe Geek's videos showing posing options, these figures coming with so many hands makes it all the harder for me to decide how to pose them!

I do like the classic looking one but I still think the Arkham one has more going on to look better on a shelf but great review Josh!

Agree with you, man. This is my favorite use of the Blue Beetle/Booster Gold body as well. Works absolutely perfect for the Riddler IMO. Love his headsculpt and he's so much fun with all the extra hands! The boots don't bother me either. I grew up with the Toybiz stuff too! Hope we get a lot more of these awesome classics coming from McFarlane.

Whilst the Arkham Riddler is really good, it's too near "real-world" for me - I just personally prefer the comic-book look...

I dig the classic look of this guy. Small bit of me hopes to find the platinum version just so I can take the head and put it on the regular one because I kind of like the eyes showing compared to whited out

Good review. would be cool to see a short where you swap heads. i bet the variant looks great on the regular body, also curious about the arkham one being swapped.
