Keizaron's commentary is amazing and entertaining. Watching Pokemon runs don't really capture my attention much, but his commentary was so good that I actually wanted to stay and watch the whole thing.
Seriously, I'm amazed at how often I come back to rewatch this. It's the first ever Speedrun i saw and even live, 'cause Twitch recommended it for me and I couldn't say no to Pokemon Crystal & oh Boy, I'm so glad, I was able to find this. The whole Run is so damn wholesome & I srsly think, this couldn't have been this entertaining if it wasn't for the exact given Setup of Keiz, Couchcrew and sonicmega. I've laughed less, FAR less, on many of my favourite shows and if I have a miserable Day, nothing cheers me up as much as this Run and these 6 People nailing these (almost) 4 hours. I really hope, you'll bring them back!

Though sometimes, mostly in switch palaces, you finish a level with a questionmark in an orb. It's fairly unusual in the game and certainly merited the, allegedly, original chant. Maybe you knew all that. Also, to be clear. Speculating a lot on my part. This a gut feeling at most. If someone has looked up or knows the origin of the orb chant feel free to chime in.
One thing I find just magical about Pokemon is no matter which pokemon it is, it's someone's favorite. It doesn't matter whichever one you pick, it is someone's favorite. Mine is Magikarp, and everyone always says "don't you mean Gyarados?" and I show my Magikarp tattoo. Love that little dude.
Rowan Gainsborough 5 months late but personally i think tropius is dope and Ethoslab the minecraft youtuber has said multiple times that tropius is his favorite, i’d say the fuckin ladybug pokemon, dunsparce, and alomamola are all probably harder to find since tropius is big and could be considered pretty damn cool.

I played Gen 1 in 1st grade red version, shot an 8 point buck out of a deer stand after my step dad made me put the game down 😂 Gen 2 was just as bad they had trouble getting me out the door for baseball practice cuz I was in the middle of evolving my qualiva into typhlosion and them getting mad at me. Gen 3 was great times for me too. Big drop off til late Gen 6 and then gen 7 and now gen 9 I skipped a few this was a great watch that brought me back thank you guys for bringing this experience to YT 🙇♂️
This was one of the most consistently entertaining speedruns of this length I've ever had the pleasure of watching; Keizaran and his couch providing excellent commentary, the donations guy with literally all the enthusiasm in the world, and god once that Pokedex donation train started, such a great slew of awesome donations, some hilarious, others just brilliantly generous. An absolute highlight of this event, to be sure.

This speedrun just epitomises everything great about the community, artistry and enjoyment to be found in it. It's a delicious blend of charisma, fun, skill, banter, and ridiculous black-magic style manips all orchestrated by a bunch of friends whose only goal is to have a good time. The fact so many incentives were met is astounding. I end up always coming back to this speedrun whenever I get the itch to watch some again. Cheers to y'all and cheers to AGDQ 2020!

Oh my goodness this run was so entertaining. I’m so glad GDQ keeps letting Keiz come back. His runs are always top tier. I’ll never forget crystal because I ran into Entei on my way to Olivine in the grass to the left. I don’t remember if he ran away or wiped my entire team, but my heart stopped when the wild theme sounded different and I saw him.

One of the best runs of the event. Also Gen2 is one of the most satisfying generations to run, getting all the moves and strats to come together is super rewarding. With the Gen2 games on 3DS VC it is also super accessible for new runners.
This run is quite LITERALLY my favorite speedrun of all time. The JoJo reference that is Raikou, all of the ORB!!!!'s, Keizaron being Keizaron, all the incentives being met for an amazing cause. The pokemon community is truly wholesome, and this run is proof of that.
I can't believe I sat through this whole vod but I was entertained way beyond expectations. Every DIO, Keizaron, the back couch, the energy from the crowd, the donations, the extreme amounts of incentives and amount of money met in just 3 hours blew me away. This run is awesome. I doubt I would have been able to watch it all without Keizaron and the couch's commentary but they made the 3+ hours awesome. This run was an incentive killer. I can't believe they finished the deltarune incentive so fast.

I’ve always been put off by the explanations of mechanics in these runs but this Keizaron guy and his back up dancers really made it enjoyable. This is great, and I am glad it was largely benefiting a good cause

But on 3ds you'll have to run without manips or find your own manips.
