I was considering taking midnight or space grey, but after watching this video, I might want to get starlight because it’s too pretty😍😍
Ahhh ya the starlight is a super subtle gold. It’s like a warm silver LOL idk if that makes sense. On a yellow toned surface, it looks super grey but on a white surface you notice more that it’s actually gold

I absolutely loved the watching this video it was aesthetic and so calming, but I did want to ask...that after buying and using both the pro and air despite the colour preferences...which one felt better or was better for you.
Honestly, I can’t tell the difference too much! I do kinda miss the Touch Bar esp since you’re able to have a little digital pet on it 🥲

woww how were you able to get a custom m2 air delivered so quickly? I also got the 16gb 256gb model (Canada) but gotta wait til next month and it's driving me nuts.

This is exactly the configuration and color that I bought. It is yet to be delivered. What are you using yours for? Photo editing or just normal day to day usage?
I edit videos, use it for class, and i run programs like figma, adobe creative suite, etc. So a little more than just internet surfing
@@ShayHayashi oh ok cool. I got 16/256. And I don’t edit. Just for classes and RUclips and chrome and Microsoft office. I think getting a 16g was a waste of money for me
@@nnamdiosuji8854 I got the 16/512 and I think it will be worth it to have the extra ram, especially for future proofing. There's nothing worse than trying to just like open a few apps and switching between 10 chrome tabs and then have to wait for it to finish lagging
@@nnamdiosuji8854 More RAM is never a waste of money. I'm getting the 16/512 and have to wait up to 2 months since it's customized. I won't use it for editing, but I do occasionally play a "soft" game.

So far, I don't notice it getting hot. I've edited a video, ran multiple applications during a zoom class, etc. I also have it on a laptop stand that lets it breathe more
Why did you up the ram but still pick 256gb? Just trying to figure out what is right for me. Love this color
Good question: I’m keeping a lot of big files like my raw video files in an external storage which is like a fraction of the cost of upgrading the storage. Like I can get a 1TB thing for a lot cheaper so I didn’t think it’s necessary. I needed the ram for video editing and other programs!

Wait I’m so confused about your upgrades like if you really were upgrading from a old Mac it makes sense but you unboxed this and uploaded it after the m2 MacBook Pro and they have the same chip and the m2 MacBook cost $100 more
I had the macbook air with the intel chip and bought the m2 macbook pro but I ended up returning the pro for this one because I wasn't a fan of the grey color!
My wallet is crying after buying one 😭

I wipe it with a micro-fiber cloth. I'm not sure what the best way to do it is though
