Still wading through your old videos love love your adventures you bring calm and peace and we love sunny cat my daughter and me and just watching everything you do we are crafter's so just gell with you fun days to you from like minded people h l from York Yorkshire. Ps we love going to seaham glass hhu hunting.
Nicola White was just mentioning the clay pipe society she belongs to; maybe inquire about your handyman pipe with the society website? Lottie is coming along beautifully! Be well from washington state USA ❤️
Wow! That summer storm certainly exposed some treasures. Fleur, speaking of treasures, within the first thirty-five seconds of this video, when you excitedly focused on and retrieved the porcelain leg, I was busy focusing on the silver or pewter jewelry, (a badge or pendant attached to a chain?) located directly below the leg. Directly to the right of the leg, from where I sit, there looked to be a silver ring and more silver looking jewelry bits on the left? There is also a piece of paper tucked under the edge of the large rock to the right. Hopefully you can find that spot again. It certainly would be exciting. : ) It's always a privilege to tag along with you Fleur and Kate, on your fun-filled, relaxing journeys. You have enriched my heart and my life. : ) I am Grateful.
The pipe, I believe, represents the Maid of Erin, Irish. 1800's to 1900's, but I didnt find anything on a Thom Smith pipe for "Handyman",... however I'm pretty sure I've heard of that pipe before listening to Nic White, artist and Mudlark. Good finds ladies!! Love the glass bottle stoppers, as well. I always enjoy our outing with you, Katie and Fleur. Kate, you looked very comfy and cute in your shorts sweetie. Thank you for taking me along! xx
Hahaha lol too! Just imagine being out on that beach not knowing 1 thing about mudlarking..that it even exist and all of a sudden someone shouting.." I ve found a leg!!" Especially a cop off duty hoping to relax? Excellent work on your gardens..veges and flowers.
So now we know when you wash off the mud your thumbs are actually green and your allotment proves it i even saw gooseberries they make good jam.Nice finds as well looking forward to that feature video Karl from Canada
Hello Fleur; hello Kate. A very nice adventure. Small bottle stoppers to marbles and lost limbs. I do like the pipe bowl that Kate found. Actuall every find was outstanding. Thank you for inviting us to join you. Say hello to Oscar and Father. Greetings from the U.S.A.
Great to see you enjoying the weather. Keep well you beautiful girls. Can't help thinking Kate looks like the main character from Brave. You obviously have green fingers. More gardening please.
My father was Hungarian, and pronounced the Tokaji wine region as TOE-kie I wonder if Smith’s Workman was a brand of tobacco. And finally, thank you for sharing your allotment with your viewers. In the US, community gardens have absurdly tiny plots. I honestly don’t know what the people who administer our community gardens think folks can grow in a four foot by eight foot plot. Your allotment looks to have ample size for both food and flowers. How fortunate you are!
What a lovely allotment you have, you've made it look so welcoming in such a short time. It's not wonder you enjoy being there. Fabulous finds as always. xx
Apostlewoody, I agree with you about a longer vid of their allotment. Though I forgot to tell them how enthused I am about them having their own little slice of greenery heaven.
I love the free greenhouse and your allotment. It looks like you will have delicious and beautiful fruits and vegetables! It’s always nice to see things grow. We have peach trees, cherry trees, tomatoes, strawberries, blueberries and bananas growing. I don’t plant, but my brother does. I just watch them grow 😊 Nice finds love marbles and sherds. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Thanks for another great video, I really enjoyed seeing what an "allotment " garden is, as I am unfamiliar with them. I think they would be called a "community " garden here (Vancouver Island) where there would be numerous plots, that one would rent for the year and grow whatever they like. Water and a raised bed is provided, but there wouldn't be space for a greenhouse. Yours looks charming! Also really enjoyed the roundup, that bottle seal must have been very exciting! ❤
Not many finds, but some really interesting ones this time.Your allotment is coming along beautifully,I love the wild flowers there so pretty. The cucumbers are coming along nicely.Home grown tastes so much better than shop brought too…Love n Light to you Both 🥰
Lovely not a loot of finds but good ones. Love the pipe and the white Gobbie. Nice allotment with lots of good things growoing, you clever girls. Stay safe.
Great informative video once again and love your allotment but best of all for me was the sound of the Cuckoo, it’s been many years since I heard one, in fact since I moved up from Kent to Cumbria x
Looking forward to the Epic feature length film. 😁 love your channels. Dearest Kate, you could be a model as a second career. That bottle seal was really neat. Being of partly Irish descent that pipe bowl was interesting. God bless, stay well. Your allotment is awesome also.
Just want to tell my #1 Favorite mudlarkers and love how sweet you are and so polite to each other. Can’t say enough how your choice of music also blesses me. So far your videos are the only ones with these most unique ways that add so much to the enjoyment of everything you do. Thank you. 💖🙏💖
Hi Fleur and Kate, with all the excess small bottle stoppers you both have collected over time would it be an idea be to use them as pieces to make a marble solitaire game? With the bottle stoppers you could drill holes into a wooden board and use the stoppers as pegs. Just a thought. 🦘hello from Australia
Great mudlarking adventure 👌😊 and the allotment looked amazing with lots of colour ❤❤ thank you for taking us along with you and sharing your allotment with us too 🥰
I love watching you find treasures. My favorite finds were the two tiny bottle stoppers and the flowering sweet peas (my granddad's favorite). I also loved seeing the gooseberries, it made my mouth water! LOL
So very nice to see your allotment and the stunning photography you take of the flowers and nature...I love you found a Goobie! Just looking at that water is so soothing .thank you for everything you bring.stay safe and cool.cant wait for the next video!
The allotment is so beautiful! Im so happy you have one now, gardening is a peaceful soothing stress relieving pursuit, nothing tastes as good as your own fresh fruit and veg:) and so many beautiful flowers, fresh flowers are a joy. 😊 loved the lark as always, thanks and stay cool!
Thanks for the lovely video! I love my garden-it’s a total work in progress- and I so enjoyed seeing yours! I just wanted to tell you that the perennial sweet peas are considered an invasive species here in California. The annual ones are a favorite of mine. I grew lots of them this year, and I’ll be donating some of the seeds to my local library because they have a seed catalog. It’s a great way to get free seeds if yours has a similar program. And, the perennial sweet peas don’t smell like anything which is disappointing.
Loved your day out and the finds. Your home garden is Great, you have done a fantastic job , congratulations on the lovely garden area. well done again ladies !!!!!! See you again soon . 💕💥
Thank you for the peep into your allotment after your visit to gobby beach. There is a lovely film called Dean Spanley (2008) which features the liqueur Tokay and its affects on a certain clergyman. Well worth a look.
I have heard of Tokay wine, it is pronounced TOE Kay here in the states. It's a type of grape , used to make wine. I love your allotment. You are doing a good job. Such pretty flowers ❤. I can't believe you got a free glass greenhouse ! What a streak of luck.. Always good to see you lovely women . I envy your lives. deb😊
Possibly Smith was the company F & J Smith, which was a tobacco company started in about 1853, and their shop\manufacture was on North Albion St Glasgow in 1883. Tobacco blends at that time included names like HarvestMoon blend and Bright Cake. They joined in a consortium (The Imperial Tobacco Company) in 1901 with 21 other British tobacco companies to defend against a similar American tobacco consortium. There was a 1927 catalogue for the F and J Smith company that indicates such loose tobacco blends as Lasting Joy Shag and Wild Brig Flake. I bet they could have had a Handy Man Blend of tobacco at some point.
Would be lovely to see what ideas you have for those nice perfume stoppers please girls I need ideas for when I find some from Claire 🐻 love your shows by the way this is the first time sending you both a message
Fleur, that piece you found and said looks like a tractor front, would make a great front piece to an old radio.
The violin music was beautiful,my Grandpa built and played the violin and it brought me back to many years ago .Thank you 🎻
Use that leg for a pirate doll you could totally make a wooden peg leg!!!! Please🙏
I received a ebay dolls house package today, I wondered why there were gobbies in it, they turned out to be clusters of books for a shelf 😁

I also love Sweet Peas, we have them all over my road, so much white and pink! That little dolls leg is great, it looks like a little soldier boot.
Kate looks beautiful in the thumbnail picture. I love the allotment.
I have been drying flowers for my resin art, I can't wait to start.
Hello Ladies..wonderful finds today...lovely treasures..thanx for sharing
Love the cuckoo calling. Such a quintessential summery sound.
I think I like the gobby beach and wood dumps are the best videos to me.
Cant wait to see a harvest video

Wonderful garden! Isn't fun to grow your own food! Where we live allotments are called "pea patches"! Kim from Mount Vernon, Washington
What a blooming gorgeous Lottie bottle seal find was so interesting many thanks ladies
Great to see you enjoying the weather. Keep well you beautiful girls. Can't help thinking Kate looks like the main character from Brave. You obviously have green fingers. More gardening please.
More good finds and loved seeing the allotement, Lottie.
I can hear the joyful enthusiasm in your voices. You have missed gobie beach. Kate you created your own fidget with the old phone.❤
The handle looking thing that was heavy could be a tap pull, or from an old toilet chain that had the overhead tanks.😊
...or pestle/mortar
That's what I thought. To gind spices @@deenadichmont5584

I love to hear what you are creating. The allotment is so lovely. Enjoy my sweeties x😊
I think 🤔 perhaps the small bottle stops would make an excellent (indoor) wind chime.

True, an allotment is quite similar to a community garden.
Depending on the allotment a greenhouse might or might not be allowed.
Kate, you're definitely a summer girl!
at 11.32, it looks like a piece of a mortar, the one we crush spices with.
I love that you named your allotment. Lottie is a great name😊
Great to see you!
Kate was totally serving in that gingham jumper!
Not many finds, but some really interesting ones this time.Your allotment is coming along beautifully,I love the wild flowers there so pretty. The cucumbers are coming along nicely.Home grown tastes so much better than shop brought too…Love n Light to you Both 🥰
Those bottle stoppers could look good as a pendant on a necklace, what do you think of the idea? Nice garden by the way.
The blue/green glass shape, could it be the end of an ornamental golf putter? Bit of a long shot (pardon the pun).
Love the intro music and scenery! Totally different atmosphere at your charming allotment- it looks great.

Tokai pronounced : TOK Eye. Very sweet and quite strong. Love you xx
You have gooseberries, my mother loved them. She made pies and jam.

What an enjoyable video. Thank you.
Love the history revealed in your research into remnants of the lives of long forgotten people.
I love watching you find treasures. My favorite finds were the two tiny bottle stoppers and the flowering sweet peas (my granddad's favorite). I also loved seeing the gooseberries, it made my mouth water! LOL
Could you make a Christmas garland out of those bottle stops? Lights through them would be beautiful.
Thank you, lovely video.
So very nice to see your allotment and the stunning photography you take of the flowers and nature...I love you found a Goobie! Just looking at that water is so soothing .thank you for everything you bring.stay safe and cool.cant wait for the next video!
