- This week we went mudlarking after a summer Thunder storm with torrential rain! It was interesting to see how a Winter storm compared in terms of finds. Come with us to find out! Also there is a little look at our new allotment for those of you interested :)
We have a patreon page for anyone wishing to support us.

Fleur, that piece you found and said looks like a tractor front, would make a great front piece to an old radio.
I received a ebay dolls house package today, I wondered why there were gobbies in it, they turned out to be clusters of books for a shelf 😁
Kate looks beautiful in the thumbnail picture. I love the allotment.
Still wading through your old videos love love your adventures you bring calm and peace and we love sunny cat my daughter and me and just watching everything you do we are crafter's so just gell with you fun days to you from like minded people h l from York Yorkshire. Cant wait to see a harvest video
Hello Fleur; hello Kate. A very nice adventure. Small bottle stoppers to marbles and lost limbs. I do like the pipe bowl that Kate found. Actuall every find was outstanding. Thank you for inviting us to join you. Say hello to Oscar and Father. Greetings from the U.S.A.
Lovely Roundup Ladies❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow! That summer storm certainly exposed some treasures. Fleur, speaking of treasures, within the first thirty-five seconds of this video, when you excitedly focused on and retrieved the porcelain leg, I was busy focusing on the silver or pewter jewelry, (a badge or pendant attached to a chain?) located directly below the leg. Directly to the right of the leg, from where I sit, there looked to be a silver ring and more silver looking jewelry bits on the left? There is also a piece of paper tucked under the edge of the large rock to the right. Hopefully you can find that spot again. It certainly would be exciting. : ) It's always a privilege to tag along with you Fleur and Kate, on your fun-filled, relaxing journeys. You have enriched my heart and my life. : ) I am Grateful.
Nicola White was just mentioning the clay pipe society she belongs to; maybe inquire about your handyman pipe with the society website? Lottie is coming along beautifully! Be well from washington state USA ❤️
I have been drying flowers for my resin art, I can't wait to start.
Kate, you're definitely a summer girl!
Always enjoy your films.
I also love Sweet Peas, we have them all over my road, so much white and pink! That little dolls leg is great, it looks like a little soldier boot.
Hello Ladies..wonderful finds today...lovely treasures..thanx for sharing
Love the cuckoo calling. Such a quintessential summery sound.
Fun trip great pipe beautiful allotment ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I can hear the joyful enthusiasm in your voices. You have missed gobie beach. Kate you created your own fidget with the old phone.❤
What a lovely allotment you have, you've made it look so welcoming in such a short time. It's not wonder you enjoy being there. Fabulous finds as always. xx
The cuckoo bird loves mudlarking!!
Hahaha lol too! Just imagine being out on that beach not knowing 1 thing about mudlarking..that it even exist and all of a sudden someone shouting.." I ve found a leg!!" Especially a cop off duty hoping to relax? Excellent work on your gardens..veges and flowers.
Loved your allotment. You can't beat home grown food, to put on the table. Such a lovely achievement, when things grow for you. Enjoy. 😋 xx
The pipe, I believe, represents the Maid of Erin, Irish. 1800's to 1900's, but I didnt find anything on a Thom Smith pipe for "Handyman",... however I'm pretty sure I've heard of that pipe before listening to Nic White, artist and Mudlark. Good finds ladies!! Love the glass bottle stoppers, as well. I always enjoy our outing with you, Katie and Fleur. Kate, you looked very comfy and cute in your shorts sweetie. Thank you for taking me along! xx
Lovely garden! Thank you.
So now we know when you wash off the mud your thumbs are actually green and your allotment proves it i even saw gooseberries they make good jam.Nice finds as well looking forward to that feature video Karl from Canada
A bottle stop chandelier would be fabulous .

Great to see you enjoying the weather. Keep well you beautiful girls. Can't help thinking Kate looks like the main character from Brave. You obviously have green fingers. More gardening please.

Love your fines and your all your beautiful veg nothing more satisfied that working in the garden and green house
Use that leg for a pirate doll you could totally make a wooden peg leg!!!! Please🙏
nice finds
The handle looking thing that was heavy could be a tap pull, or from an old toilet chain that had the overhead tanks.😊
...or pestle/mortar
Lovely finds and information, beautiful garden, someone has a very green thumb!
The violin music was beautiful,my Grandpa built and played the violin and it brought me back to many years ago .Thank you 🎻
I for one would love to see an in depth vid on your allotment. Free Greenhouse, I would kill for!!! And both of you are so fun, thanks for sharing
Apostlewoody, I agree with you about a longer vid of their allotment. Though I forgot to tell them how enthused I am about them having their own little slice of greenery heaven.
Beautiful garden
Wonderful garden! Isn't fun to grow your own food! Where we live allotments are called "pea patches"! Kim from Mount Vernon, Washington
Hi girls, nice finds ,nice garden,I love the vegetables in the green house.i love gardening
I think I like the gobby beach and wood dumps are the best videos to me.

Lovely video, looking forward to the epic.😊
The Tokayer seal is a fantastic find! Loved seeing your plot and plants too!
I love to hear what you are creating. The allotment is so lovely. Enjoy my sweeties x😊
Great job ladies that pretty blue piece looks like it could be a garden sign
It's always fun to see what you find. So lovely to see your allotment... you have been busy 👏 home grown is best 👌 beautiful flowers too 🥰🥰
I love that you named your allotment. Lottie is a great name😊
Thanks for another great video, I really enjoyed seeing what an "allotment " garden is, as I am unfamiliar with them. I think they would be called a "community " garden here (Vancouver Island) where there would be numerous plots, that one would rent for the year and grow whatever they like. Water and a raised bed is provided, but there wouldn't be space for a greenhouse. Yours looks charming! Also really enjoyed the roundup, that bottle seal must have been very exciting! ❤
True, an allotment is quite similar to a community garden.
Depending on the allotment a greenhouse might or might not be allowed.
I love the free greenhouse and your allotment. It looks like you will have delicious and beautiful fruits and vegetables! It’s always nice to see things grow. We have peach trees, cherry trees, tomatoes, strawberries, blueberries and bananas growing. I don’t plant, but my brother does. I just watch them grow 😊
Nice finds love marbles and sherds. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Love the intro music and scenery! Totally different atmosphere at your charming allotment- it looks great.
Love the history revealed in your research into remnants of the lives of long forgotten people.
Those bottle stoppers could look good as a pendant on a necklace, what do you think of the idea? Nice garden by the way.
So very nice to see your allotment and the stunning photography you take of the flowers and nature...I love you found a Goobie! Just looking at that water is so soothing .thank you for everything you bring.stay safe and cool.cant wait for the next video!
Great mudlarking adventure 👌😊 and the allotment looked amazing with lots of colour ❤❤ thank you for taking us along with you and sharing your allotment with us too 🥰
Just want to tell my #1 Favorite mudlarkers and love how sweet you are and so polite to each other. Can’t say enough how your choice of music also blesses me. So far your videos are the only ones with these most unique ways that add so much to the enjoyment of everything you do. Thank you. 💖🙏💖
More good finds and loved seeing the allotement, Lottie.
Great to see you!
My father was Hungarian, and pronounced the Tokaji wine region as TOE-kie
I wonder if Smith’s Workman was a brand of tobacco.
And finally, thank you for sharing your allotment with your viewers. In the US, community gardens have absurdly tiny plots. I honestly don’t know what the people who administer our community gardens think folks can grow in a four foot by eight foot plot. Your allotment looks to have ample size for both food and flowers. How fortunate you are!
The allotment is so beautiful! Im so happy you have one now, gardening is a peaceful soothing stress relieving pursuit, nothing tastes as good as your own fresh fruit and veg:) and so many beautiful flowers, fresh flowers are a joy. 😊 loved the lark as always, thanks and stay cool!
Your allotment is lovely! I'd love to have black currents and all of your flowers are beautiful.
Wonderful journey today and your allotment is beautiful!
Lovely not a loot of finds but good ones. Love the pipe and the white Gobbie. Nice allotment with lots of good things growoing, you clever girls. Stay safe.
From garden allotments to larking your videos are much appreciated. Hello from New York 😁
The flowers are so beautiful!
Lovely to see you both! Your allotment is beautiful!❤🇺🇸
What an enjoyable video. Thank you.
Loved the allotment !!! 🌻
Great day of beach larking. ❤
Looking forward to the Epic feature length film. 😁 love your channels. Dearest Kate, you could be a model as a second career. That bottle seal was really neat. Being of partly Irish descent that pipe bowl was interesting. God bless, stay well. Your allotment is awesome also.
Can't wait for next week. I'll have to grab some popcorn and put it on the big screen.😂
Very lovely garden, great finds too... Love the videos...🤩🤩🤩
Lovely finds, nice garden. Thanks for your hard work. ,💖🇬🇧🇺🇸💖
Awesome video ladies, a fruitful mud lark and i love your allotment. Take care and thanks for sharing 👍🙏❤️
LOVE LOTTIE X the allotment looks fantastic XXX well done you
I find your show so relaxing as well as intriguing. Wonderful allotment... good work ❤
I have heard of Tokay wine, it is pronounced TOE Kay here in the states. It's a type of grape , used to make wine.
I love your allotment. You are doing a good job. Such pretty flowers ❤.
I can't believe you got a free glass greenhouse ! What a streak of luck..
Always good to see you lovely women . I envy your lives. deb😊
Thank you, lovely video.
Your garden looks beautiful ladies well done
Love your checkered outfit at the allotment :)
Blessings
I love watching you find treasures. My favorite finds were the two tiny bottle stoppers and the flowering sweet peas (my granddad's favorite). I also loved seeing the gooseberries, it made my mouth water! LOL
Love that you have an allotment!! We have a big vegetable garden here in Pennsylvania,US
Tokai pronounced : TOK Eye. Very sweet and quite strong. Love you xx
Thank you for the peep into your allotment after your visit to gobby beach. There is a lovely film called Dean Spanley (2008) which features the liqueur Tokay and its affects on a certain clergyman. Well worth a look.
Great informative video once again and love your allotment but best of all for me was the sound of the Cuckoo, it’s been many years since I heard one, in fact since I moved up from Kent to Cumbria x
Could you make a Christmas garland out of those bottle stops? Lights through them would be beautiful.
Your veggies look wonderful. I'm drooling! And the bottle stamp is so cool!
This was a great video with lovely finds. I love the bottle seal and the gobby is just perfect.. Your allotment is brilliant with so many colours. I dream of an english garden but currently my garden looks rubbish. Well done you two for having green fingers.
Hi Fleur and Kate, with all the excess small bottle stoppers you both have collected over time would it be an idea be to use them as pieces to make a marble solitaire game? With the bottle stoppers you could drill holes into a wooden board and use the stoppers as pegs. Just a thought. 🦘hello from Australia
lottie look sooooooooooooo charming, you two are so creative. love watching xx
Nice to see your new video on my birthday! Thanks.
You have gooseberries, my mother loved them. She made pies and jam.
Great finds, though sparse. Loved seeing your fruits of your green thumbs!! I have fallen off the gardening branch of my family tree😂 All I seem to cultivate are weeds! 🥰🥰🥰
at 11.32, it looks like a piece of a mortar, the one we crush spices with.
So tickled to see your allotment. We don’t have such blessings here in Texas. PLUS the heat has been so severe these past couple of years, our best success has been with tomatoes and peppers.
An allotment is pretty similar to a community garden. There's quite a lot of those in Texas.
Not sure if they work with individual plots too, it's possible they work one big garden plot with a group of people who all benefit from the harvest.
You might wanna look into mulching, it is truly beneficial to relieve the effects of drought.
When it does rain it kinda works as a sponge, it slows down the speed of the waterflow, therefore more rain has time to soak in the ground.
Awesome allotment you have. I love gardening and we have been harvesting strawberries, red raspberries and peas so far.
Nice! Fresh peas are soooo good! And raspberries and strawberries aren't half bad either! I like gardening too, have a very tiny veggie garden in my small back yard.
Harvested some strawberries too. Also rucola, chards, different herbs, marygolds, poppy seeds, radishes, the first chili peppers, mizuna, russian leafy kale and mustard leaf.
The blackbirds ate my blueberries, i don't mind, it was a delightfull sight to see daddy bird teaching his offspring to pick blueberries. I just picked some wild blueberries during a little hike in the woods yesterday. Gonna make some nice jam.
Now waiting for my sweet corn, beans, tomatoes, zuchini, pumpkins, beets and achocha to grow. Can't wait!
I even did some 'garden larking', found a bead and a marble. 😂
Wish you happy gardening and a plentyfull harvest!
Beautiful video ladies xx loved the introduction music too.
Thanks for the lovely video! I love my garden-it’s a total work in progress- and I so enjoyed seeing yours! I just wanted to tell you that the perennial sweet peas are considered an invasive species here in California. The annual ones are a favorite of mine. I grew lots of them this year, and I’ll be donating some of the seeds to my local library because they have a seed catalog. It’s a great way to get free seeds if yours has a similar program. And, the perennial sweet peas don’t smell like anything which is disappointing.
Thanks for showing us your allotment, it looks very productive. We can understand why you love being there Kate, the joy of nature is very hard to beat. Soil must be quite fertile, judging from those vegies and lovely flowers. Hope you both enjoy the allotment for years to come. The gobby find was a plus Kate and your info about the Hungarian seal was very interesting.
Yeah!
