Winter is always such a melancholic time for me, especially these days. Last year at around this time I was living in Japan and staying in Tokyo during this exact period of time and felt a bit sad about not being able to spend time with family...yet here I am a year later watching this video, feeling sad because I miss being in Japan during this time lol.
I have no idea why, maybe it's because everything in Japan seems to slow down in December even more than over here where I live now. Not gonna lie, the snowy mountains, the music choice and overall vibes of this video made me tear up a bit haha. Thank you for the vlogmas and I hope you have a great Christmas!

I love 道の駅!! If you haven’t already been there, 道の駅 にのみや in Tochigi-ken is so much fun. It has every type of strawberry food you can imagine and a strawberry museum 🍓❤️

does anyone know if the US has a similar ink stamp system? like does each state or city has one ? i think the national parks do but it'll be cool to get a souvenir stamp from different cities in the US
I found some things possibly on Etsy if not statehood, quarters or stamps for the 50 states are probably your best bet.

I love Oyakodon! I think I saw it first in one of Chris's videos and I found a recipe online for it. It's super easy to make and really good! I always add a lot of veggies to it too

I loveee kotatsus! The first and only time I used one was when I did a very short homestay in Yonago, Tottori back in 2017. I remember begging my dad to get one but that never happened lol (not sure how easy it would be to get one in Canada 🤔)
