I haven't played or recorded anything for around 20 years but I'm getting back into making music again. I only recorded on tape the most I ever had was a 12 track recorder but I found I got some of the best results using loops and 3 stereo system tape decks the time syncing was a nightmare but when it worked it was the warmest fuzzy lofi magic. If you can sort out the set up I would highly recommend it.

This is so good to hear. Always struggled to show too much about my own stuff. But then I thought: I've learned most of the things I do from other artists and their music process.

I see, it’s tough to me as well to show my own music writing processes and stuff as well, it’s not easy.. But thanks for doing so! It’ll help a lot, and I can say for myself - I was into recording alternative rock music and not exactly shoegaze (I’ve always listened to it, but didn’t know much about recording) and your vlogs taught me a lot of different approaches and ideas. Thanks!

Hi Kenneth. I follow you for several years, I really enjoy of your videos.
Thanks for the cool tips, you inspire me a lot and your projects are otherworldly.
You have a beauty voice, the video of recording a song in 12 H. The song of that video you never uploaded it : c .
And a part of all of this, I wonder if you could make a video of the multi effects pedal Zoom G2NU. Greetings From Costa Rica.

Finally somebody who actually tried using DR neon strings and doesn't say shit like they're really terrible. I had them a few times in different colours, they definitely don't have the greatest sound ever, but that's not the point. And for such fun they give, the sound is just right.

OMG! I just watched Terminator 1 last night a copy of a Vhs! Just for that same feeling you mention! and of course to get some inspiration from the cool synth soundtrack... But seriously I always been in love with that tape sound, and I fell in love with your pink pedals! The blue strings are looking nice as well! I enjoyed how your song is going, The bass amp pedal blew me away and this video was so exciting for me cuz I like to record the bass line on tape too! But I do it with my keyboard instead
Really what a great video Kenneth!

The cool thing about shoegaze is that you can use whatever you like. No matter how cheap or expansive the gear is. I got.amazing results with just one Multistomp and tbh.. I still would prefer a multstomp pedal over seperate pedals as the sound quality is amazing nowadays.
