Yes, I was bullied at school. By a person who I think now was struggling with his sexuality. He came out as gay. So when others say he was so nice in school. I know they don’t know
Most of my bullies in middle-high school turned out to be "DL" men. I really think it's a struggle within themselves as a kid, and the only way to deflect is to bully the vulnerable guys.
Thanks, painful topic. Yeah, i had some bullying in school, different ages. Weird thing is, it wasn't nearly as bad as treatment i received in the family, from females, 1 parent, 1 sib. Being bullied by a boy could be bad but at least we're equals. With a girl, damn, can't fight back, especially a mom. She apologized much later, humbled herself, which helped. The shame/humiliation within certainly endured
There is a difference between being bullied routinely as many men are when they are younger than the bully and being BULLIED that never ceases because you don't outgrow what makes you a target like being gay, different ethnicity or race, different religion, handicap, personality trait, etc. it's disingenuous for a lot of men to say they were bullied as if it meant anything compared to what others have gone through.
It’s a shame that Jordan felt there was something wrong with same sex attraction. I hope he’s doing well, but listening to the talk it seems like he’s just suppressed it. Best wishes to him though.
Same-sex attraction toward friendship isn't bad. It's when it turns sexual that there is something amiss. It is a sign of a need for healthy male bonding.
@shahbaziab6584 We aren't physically designed to have sex with the same gender. Where is the deviation? That is part of the wholpsychology/psychiatry realm. If there is some drive toward the same sex, there is a cannibalistic need. Sex will not accomplish anything.
As someone who grew up, as a young adult, In the Gay/Queer Community..I can tell you My Opinion, which is....The Gay/Queer "community" has alot of Emotional immaturity and darkness in it. Alot of Fetishes. A worship of Youthful Beauty. An attitude of "If it feels good, DO IT." And there is this sense in the Gay Community that You MUST AGREE with the so-called Pride Movement OR be Attacked and Ostracized. People who Don't want to be "gay" aren't necessarily "in denial".....I think many of us see the Community's Dysfunction and Maladjustment.......And it's Frightening and Depressing.
Wow I was never bullied but I knew I was different and gay I’m a recovering alcoholic 30 years sober I’m now 69 years old and where do I go now I’m a new Christian I but I was a atheist until about 20 years ago I’m not sexually active however I still feel that I am gay. That’s my age even though I’m not sexually active. I don’t know. I’m confused by this video, but I thank you it was very interesting.
Sex addiction counseling of any kind is risky. As as much as it may feel like the treatments used in working with addiction meet the needs of someone who's sexual interests and activities are presenting obstacles to their engaging in the life of their community in a way that they feel good about the fact of the matter is that sex and sexuality are not foreign substances nor are they simply behaviors that one is using to evade negative psychological states. When it comes to sex you are talking about a drive that is tied in to parts of the brain that control things like hunger breathing thirst heart rate and breath. If in treating addiction to alcohol for example you mistakenly somehow where starting to council someone to avoid drinking altogether. They could meet their needs for fluids other ways but not easily or in a way that is likely to address feelings of thirst thus saddling them with a new obsession that further frustrates the host of issues that likely gave rise to the initial addiction
I was bullied and run down as well. And in the LEARNING disability classes as well.
People cannot help being who they are.

Why do you feel that you’re gay ? What makes you “feel gay”?
How do you know that bullying isn't just something everyone has experienced, regardless of sexual orientation?
Neither Jordan nor I view bullying as limited to certain sexual orientations.
