When i here people say Game and AMC won't squeeze, I look back to 2020 DGAZF hitting $24k and the 2008 VW squeeze, then remember Margin Calls happen and Shorts haven't closed
It was a different time they followed rules and regulations. The corruption was not at this level. Just look how they halt the stock on little runs they wont let it happen ever.
Look up Theriva Biologics. Ticker symbol TOVX (used to be SYN) if you wanna see a real squeeze. Numbers aren't completely accurate, as they aren't accounting for reverse splits that happened later down the road. But squeezed to like 90k back in 2005ish. Adjusted for reverse splits, it had a low in the $25 range in Aug of 2003, before squeezing back to 855k by May 13, 2005. Again, these numbers are AFTER reverse splits. I believe during the actual time, it was around 80-90k a share. Insane

AMC had 43k+ in the money calls at $4.50 expiring June 21st and GME had 120k+ in the money calls at $20.00 expiring June 21st.
Market Makers will now have to go to the market and buy those shares, causing a nice push up Monday/Tuesday.

First of all what is your definition of poor. Someone who is truly indigent would never invest in the stock market, crypto market etc. most won’t have bank accounts. Your comment shows you ignorance and the people that invest in this play are chasing a dream. I was one of them and I’m not poor. I did transfer to the crypto market and have had some real success with real profits. If it wasn’t for AMC and my big lost I wouldn’t be in that market. I also learned for me the s&p 500 would be the only play long term for me a proven 100 year track record with a 10 to 12 percent return over your lifetime investment. I would of not know this if I didn’t play the AMC game I’m not a believer in the squeeze anymore but these young people involved in this play will learn as I did because school does not teach us how to invest your money it is something you have to teach yourself.
