AFAIK the main problem with a stock B-series engine was it would briefly fall out of VTEC in between shifts because of the 5spd transmission. Raising the rev limit fixes that, but the K-series avoids the problem entirely with the new 6spd they came with. A B-series that doesn't fall out of VTEC is very fast.
That EK9 rolled the hell out!! I’ve never seen a B16B move like that. Did it have a upgraded displacement like 1.8 or 2.0?? cuz 1.6 “usually” don’t move like that 😳🤯
That FD2 Vtec is engaging at 6k rpm, combine that with weird semi agressive driving and you lose plenty of time each lap. with a proper tune it should kick in at 4k providing a good 40-45whp gain in the mid range rpm like every good tuner doe's with our K20z3 in the Can/US
That 8th gen looked like a oversized boat out there… sheesh… I think it’s the heaviest one with all those doors on it. Too bad Japan didn’t make the fg2… it would’ve been dope! The dc2 was the best looking one out there IMO.
I think it's because past 8k there's no more power going over the peak power range. Plus, with shorter gears and final drive, acceleration is quicker and he don't fall out of VTEC when upshifting. So there's probably no need to squeeze the rev higher.

@@IAW_OPSEC its really simple, the harness keep you in the same place always with very less movements, in case of rolling, the roof of the car can be smashed and your head will be the roll cage in this case because you cant move nowhere with harness.. with the original belt of the car, you can move to the sides and in case of rolling and smashing the roof, you can avoid it moving fastly to any sides.. harness are only safe with roll cage..hope at least you undersand what i mean..
@@wedepeixmen there are many opinions about it..w a stock seat belt if you roll u can slide out of the seat. And when you roll you cannot move your body where you want..you are mooved where ever it wants you to..also the collar bone snaping w stock belt
@@upnorthviking823yes it is true too what u say but that happens with the stock belt, when the seat is more reclined than usual you will slide under the belt ,when the seat is straight, the movement of the body is more limited but that does not mean that you are not going to move. i was saying in case of rolling, if your car has not rollcage and u use harness on it, the probability of a broken neck is too high...

Great intake sound from the FD2! Must be a carbon airbox or a short ram intake.
Spoon doesn’t use any special intakes on their cars. They leave the stock box (with their own filter) for the best throttle response possible.

Raditya Indera FF actually broke the attack Tsukuba record not to long ago. 800 hp 9th gen US civic Si.
Also the Integra Type R beats cars like the MR2 or Silvia around Tsukuba. FF is just as fun and fast as FR if done right.
