It was nice of all those people to stop and help you when you ran out of gas LOL.
@@cainbeeping8480 Haha. Yep, not a sole. In the days of cell phones, not many stop anymore.
Far as I’m concerned Mike, you don’t need to apologize much during your videos. Your content, commentary, and editing gets better with each post. Us followers “hang” with you to see the bike, how well it’s performing, and whatever beyond that is just getting to know you a little more with each video.
@@donsoule6411 Thanks. Well, now you know I don’t use a T on my fuel lines. 🤣🤣
Man I was on the edge of my seat when you ran out of gas. Glad you didn't have to walk. Video is really nice where you have the camera in front while riding and you're talking. You've really got that dialed in.
@@SVCRescue Dude, I’m gonna be honest…..I thought the engine let go. It shut down, like you turned off the key. No sputtering or bucking or anything to indicate it was running out of fuel. I got off the bike and thought I’d be able to kick it over by hand, with no compression. When I did have compression, that’s what then led me to check the tank. What a sigh of relief, when I realized it was just out of fuel. Haha
@@MiniBikeMike had a similar situation with my Z50. I had turned the tank vent off and forgot, TWICE LOL First time I thought she was done, second time I immediately realized my mistake.

@@lionelzamora4536 Thanks for watching Lionel!
Mike, Love following your trip. Laughed yesterday when you talked to Ben's dad and he said he was 80 and the oldest guy there. Remember, I was the oldest at your spring ride. I'm ready for another adventure. Really enjoy all your videos. Be safe. Tim
@@TimKnierim Hey Tim! Thanks for watching! Tony was an awesome guy!
que grannde MIKE....!!!!!!.. me encantan tus videos. Yo tengo una Motomel 110CC......2024...hermosa. no me animo a hacer lo que estas haciendo. Te felicito. Buen Viaje.
Thanks! Appreciate that you took the time to watch.
Another great video Mike! I’ll have to admit, I was one of the guys that was thinking “He has lost his mind to make that long trip”! But you made it without a hitch! Great job!
@@mikeb6431 Thanks Mike! Hmmmm, it’s 680 miles from my place to yours……sounds like a good trip! 😄
@@MiniBikeMike 😂😂😂
The cat near the AirBnB didn’t really give a rip. But the dog…he’s a good boy. :-)
The road where you switched to backup fuel tank looked like a 60+ mph road. Just a guess. I’d be nervous as hell riding at 46mph on a road with that speed limit. It was a good idea to use the mapping software’s bicycle feature. I’ll use that in the future.
@@ChrisHiblerPinball The cat and dog were hilarious. They met me, when I walked outside the next morning.
It was a 55mph road. I could get close to 55 on flat ground, but the hills and headwind slowed me a bit. Luckily, each hill had a passing lane and it really wasn’t that busy. I never once felt in danger of faster traffic.
Man you are inspiring me to do this with my son some day.
@@vorhese I highly recommend pursuing that. I rode with one of my sons, back in June and it was a special 4 days.
13:56 mark. I was about an hour or so behind you at this point, also running US60 .... Enjoying the scenery. The wife and I stopped at this scenic waterfall spot on your right and stretched our legs. Someday I'll do this stretch on 2 wheels. It was a lovely day to ride.
@@pellingt Yes, beautiful day and scenery.
That was awesome you passed where I work at actually just below that Exxon station. I like taking route 60 out crossing Gulley Bridge and looping around via route 16. Generally I cross the bridge at Montgomery to 61 side and partake in some very fattening dairy queen ice cream.
@@timothymidkiff2894 Very nice area for riding! Thanks for watching.
Good for you Mike. I am in Milan Indiana.
@@papap.8006 Thanks for watching. Nice to have a fellow Hoosier here.
Ka-Nah-Wah. So wild I used to live right in Fayetteville.
@@van_demonium Thanks for watching!
🛑🛑 Pretty Cool Adventure, Mike. 👍💯
I’ve ridden the New River Gouge area on my Harley, but I have to say; it was something to seeing you ride your “small bore” bike across the bridge.
I feel for you as well. When I was riding in WV, when you came to a town, there were actually “pay phone booth” there in each little town, because of all the hills and valleys, and lack of cell service. 😂 📞
Thanks For Taking Us Along!!👍
@@genekelley7579 Yes, saw many a pay phones. Hadn’t seen one in years.
@@MiniBikeMike
I thought the same thing.
You should have went to the bridge vistors center. Its right off the main road and gives you a great view of the bridge and would have taken less than 30 minutes including a rest room break.
@@noelwarner1235 I didn’t really need to see it that bad.
Before Interstate 64 was completed 30-35 years ago, State route 60 was the main way to get from Charleston to Lewisburg WV. Seemed like it took forever with all the slow traffic.
@@davidmorgan2815 I was the slow traffic, in each direction. 🤣🤣
In India they're carrying families on those things cross country.
Thanks for the ride and I am glad the bike is running well! How big is your spare fuel tank?
@@snakepit101 Apparently, 1.6 gallons…..oh wait, you don’t know that until the next video. Haha
I’m surprised… No “tee” fitting to connect the two fuel lines… What up wit’ dat ??
@@donsoule6411 All the videos you’ve watched and you haven’t figured out that I do things a little different. 😄 This method worked for me. 👍🏻
@@MiniBikeMike I guess you “got me there”… hush my mouth !!
Good idea with the mesh bag over the air cleaner and carburettor. . 🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘
@@damiand4835 It works great!
How much did you spend on gas the entire trip.?
Also how much was your entire trip.?
Entire trip was $575. Fuel was around $75. Lodging was around $350. Food made up the rest.
