      The laws change much more slowly than technology. But they have shut down the main revenge porn site for extortion (because they would take a picture off the site for five thousand dollars) and for posting pictures of underaged girls. They just didn't ask the age of the person being revenge posted.

      Tuter King He made a segment about the harassment of women on the internet and how the laws and law enforcement in the U.S. is woefully behind in addressing it. That is literally the point of the video. What do you mean "for some reason only about women"? That...was the subject...of the video....

      She doesn't receive harrassment any more than the average RUclips personality. However, when she gets a "lol kill urself" mail, she doesn't laugh it off like they do.
      Instead of wasting his time on a con-artist, Oliver should've reported Swatting, which is an actually dangerous crime.

    • @WDSimp
      @WDSimp 9 лет назад +1

      Holdin McGroin
      I don't believe that just laughing off threats is the proper way to go about this. May be showing my age here, but back before we had the internet, sending threats to people through the mail or by telephone were typically followed up on by the police, and more often than not the people who sent those threats was punished for their actions. The internet is making that considerably more difficult, but it is certainly not something that we should just give up on as a society.

Nothing to to with trying to insure a fair discourse. Nothing to do with trying to insure these said victims of harassment did not become the gate keepers of culture. To act as the self appointed witch hunters of a new McCarthyism. Quelling free speech and creativity in gaming according to desperate radical ideologies. No, it was about a bunch of criminal trolls who hated these women.
      None of these women had people show up, or stalk them. You know that right?
      Yeah, death threats are criminal. But they didn't get knives sent to them in the mail. They get the threats everyone else whose popular gets online. Anita and Brianna made it an issue because it sold their wares. Anita's a con artist, Brianna's an opportunist. They are success storys because of the Streisand effect. They owe their success to the gamer-gate movement. They are the demon GG unwittingly created.

      Glenna Smith It’s because of the “congratulations on your white penis” line probably and maybe that he talked about Anita Sarkeesian and Brianna Wu (that complaint is dumb) I honestly didn’t like the white penis line either because he carried that attitude into the rest of the video even though there is this thing called swatting where people will get a swat team to raid your house and there are a ton of videos of it happening to white guys on live-streams and stories of it happening to white guys. I’ve also heard of a youtuber having his address leaked and a hit put out on him, threats made so a youtuber wouldn’t be allowed to go to a convention he was invited to, a youtuber’s sex tape was leaked. All white guys. So I understand the annoyance and anger some people have when John Oliver seems to spin this as an issue that doesn’t effect white guys. You could say that’s not what he meant by that “white penis” line and it was just a joke which is fair but the combination of that line and not addressing the points I brought up sends the message that it doesn’t/can’t effect them in any serious way. What will help this issue get better is more victims of online harassment feeling safe, comfortable and confident enough to speak out about it and share their troubling stories. John Oliver’s piece doesn’t do that for a large percentage of the US population and instead makes the situation worse. But don’t get me wrong the issues and stories he did address were important and should be talked about so I didn’t hate the video.

      Thats because john oliver didnt do much research on the people he was presenting as victims
      Anita Sarkeesian is not just some "innocent woman" who has become an "innocent victim" of online harrasment
      she tried hard to deliberately tarnish the reputation of videogames for her own profit by making false sexism claims
      and manipulative videos about them where she spread straight up lies about the Gaming community as a whole
      without doing any research at all or backing up her claims
      she is no activst and doesnt give a flying fuck about videogames
      all she did was playing the professional victim and pull at your heartstrings to make a quick buck via donations
      and the stupid public fell for it
      Brianna Wu used fake accounts to "harass herself" in order to get attention
      That became public after she attempted to harras herself while still using her main account on steam

    Thank you. I don't post things ever, but I appreciate this and wanted to acknowledge it. I was hacked and stalked for about 2 years. I ended up deleting all my internet presence and leaving the country for a few years to get away from them as it was escalating (and they found out about that too). They knew a lot and even called my friends to tell them to warn me etc. Parents and police thought it was a joke. The police said the percentage of people who act on threats they make online is so low and that it was likely someone I knew who had access to my computer who was doing it, not someone actually online. That's it! I still worry a bit and never post (that was 8 years ago- 10 since it began). To hear that part about making the mistaking of having a thought in her mind and vocalizing it is so true and was good to hear being acknowledged. Not to say something negative about parents and/or police, but that is serious if they are stalking you and even contacting you via your friends. Harassing via messages is bad in itself, but tracking you and threatening you via your friends? That is seriously messed up.
      Had the police taken the stalking and threatening part more seriously, they can easily track down and punish the offender, and made you feel safe, rather than still carrying worry when attempting to access the internet.

    This is the one time John Oliver has lost me, too many of the "High Up" people will refuse to look beyond the immediate to see beyond Sarkeesian and how she has always made money off of her "Threats"
    BTW, I have a white penis, I get threats almost weekly, very real and ugly threats, but I don't advertise them - cry about them, nor take almost ANY of them seriously - only ONE I took seriously, never reported it online, went to RCMP, they are still investigating
    So... this is the only one I could not watch all the way through, the homework was NOT DONE WELL

      ***** How do you make money off of rape threats? How do you even set a plan in motion to make money off of threats. Or are you saying the threats did start happening, and then she simply capitalizing on them.
      I have never understood the negativity Anita gets. She is an academic. Her writing stands or falls on its own validity. She might be wrong, or her argument may not hold up critically. Sure. But all the violence and venom she gets...because she said mean things about Mario ...

    • @josuesays
      @josuesays 9 лет назад +5

      ***** Then why do you watch this show? This show cries foul on a lot of things. I m sorry dude, but there's no reason to hate Anita. You're a whimp if you can't take someone's opinion, digest it, then argue your own points without flipping out. I disagree completely with Anita, but i'm not ignorant enough to think she's killing video games or changing them in a meaningful way. Not only that, the irony is that all of you crying about SJW are the ones giving the SJW their power and credibility. Without people reacting like a lynch mob, the SJW won't have anyone to fight. But, as it seems to always be the case with human conflict, both sides are too freakin' ignorant and blind to realize that they're just the snake biting its own tail. The SJW and the ANit-SJW people have way more in common than they want to recognize. Also, quit victim blaming. It's never okay to threaten someone unless they're like about to murder your baby or something. It's disgusting to threaten people and, for me, it's even more disgusting to lambast people for crying foul on those that threaten others. Get over it, bad shit happens, and it's not going to stop unless we all pull together to stop it. Just like you went to RCMP to deal with that threat shows that you don't always "handle shit yourself" so quit telling people, people you don't know on a personal level, when it's okay and not okay to handle shit on their own.

    • @amt253
      @amt253 9 лет назад +3

      ***** I never followed the Sarkeesian story, so I can't make any assertion about her claims or any claims against her. Indeed, it may have been a mistake to include her in the video; again, I don't know. But I am interested in some of the general assertions you've made here.
      You say that this is a society of wimps and that people who are harassed online should handle it themselves. How do you feel about stalkers and such in real life? Should people report them to the police, or handle it themselves? And since real-world stalkers in many cases do eventually turn violent, why should people receiving threats believe that online threats are usually harmless?
      You say that you were threatened because you fed some trolls online. I may misunderstand your description, but it seems like you were trying to rile people up and perhaps you expected them to threaten you. Most of Oliver's report addresses the experiences of people who had no interest in stirring up anger or controversy, who were just going about their daily lives, but for whom the internet became a place of harassment and threat. He speaks specifically about women whose lives have been all but ruined by people posting nude photos of them online without their permission. I ask for information about the threats you've received not to invalidate your experience but to ask whether it was comparable to the experiences addressed in the report.

      amt253 The thing is, these people either fabricate these threats to gain whatever they want (money, fame, further their agenda) or just overreact to what happened. Look at Brianna Wu, where the police of their district already released a document where it stated that after investigating the reports, her "threat" reports are not real and just waste the police resources; because she still files reports again and again and again. They undermine real threat victims and as said before the waste real time and resources meant to help and investigate real threats.

      There is a line when harassment goes too far, and it did for some of these women. Steps should be taken in order to ensure that it can be mitigated. However, people who try to take advantage of those systems shouldn't be legitimized, and Anita Sarkeesian/Brianna Wu are the poster children for those kinds of people.

    So, I was in Florida at the time, and I filed for a protective order at the courts that was so strong, that guy can’t even mention my name and he is arrested immediately. The best thing is that it is permanent, doesn’t expire and follows me across state lines.
    I was pulled over for having an expired tag and it’s attached to my drivers license because the officer asked me about it and made sure my male son was not this guy.

      Blake Bailey Insisting that it's about ethics doesn't change that the movement has been used for more nefarious purposes. Just repeating "it's about ethics in games journalism" doesn't erase that, nor does it lend credibility to the movement in any way. I know it can be frustrating to wave the GamerGate banner and have people respond by assuming you're a bad guy, but that's the problem when you throw yourself in with a nasty lot that has made a poor name for themselves. I said it back in August 2014 and I'll say it again: If people in GamerGate wanted to be taken seriously as a movement that sought after ethical journalism, they would be wise to distance themselves from the hashtag that has been used for so much negativity and harassment. A re-branding is long overdue, and this time there should be no tolerance for those who would seek to use the movement as a proxy for their own hate.

      Callum Reid Dear Callum, if you actually read what people say before responding in a condescending tone, you won't look like such an ignoramus. I never said that taking naked photos is good advice, nor am I blaming the girl.
      All I said was that "don't take naked photos of yourself to prevent revenge porn, etc." is good advice as a preventative measure in the same way that "lock your doors to prevent theft" is good advice as a preventative measure.
      In addition, even if you do have irrefutable proof that women get harassed more than men online, how is men getting harassed not also a problem?

      oh please ^^ firstly thats like saying don't do drugs, people are not gonna follow it, what we need to focus on is changing this idea that the ex boyfriend has this idea that he has the right to post her nudes on the internet.
      Secondly the proof was in the video, clearly didn't pay attention -.- also its a problem for men but it's a smaller percentage thus when talking about online harassment it is easier to get information around female harassment than males. Another problem is that finding statics around male online harassment is hard enough as they wouldn't want people to know they are feeling vulnerable.

    *Anita's claims are exaggerated* out of proportion which she uses to turn a blind eye to legit criticisms and continue milking her "allies" (as she likes to put it) and passbyers who only gave the issue a cursory glance and think they are being a good samaritan by donating money to her.
    John should have picked a better example than a suspiciously manipulative woman whose motives are highly questionable.
    *"Don't have a house!" Is not a fair analogy.*
    They are not saying you shouldn't do whatever you want.
    They are just saying you should second guess and exercise care when putting stuff on the internet because in reality, there are bad peope with bad intent on the internet.
    They remind us that the internet may feel like a vapid cloud distant from reality, but does in fact have effect in the real world.
    The better analogy would be "Sure, you can leave your windows open. It is neither morally nor legally wrong to do that! But just remeber that in reality, there are bad people looking to exploit you, and you should take caution before doing that. Just remeber that you have a higher chance of finding your living room TV gone the next morning. We may not like it, but this is the reality. So here is a piece of advice, lock your windows."
    If my memory is correct, when it comes to all online harassment and other forms of cyber terrorism (ex: cyber stalking), *men receive them a lot as well.* (Yes, white men too)
    Hell, even me, a faceless randy on the internet get a lot of libelous bullshit thrown at me and get cyber stalked for commenting on RUclips videos.
    Harassment faced by men are just not blown out of proportion because to males, online harassment is taken less seriously and less emotionally compared to women. (Plus the society don't take them as seriously as well)
    Generally, if you noticed, internet shitflingers don't really care about one's gender.
    They only mention gender (if they even know it) to get their target's head boiling.
    For instance, if the target is a woman, they'll say some shit about making them a sandwich.
    If a target is a man, they'll say some shit about their target having a small penis.
    This is just Insult 101.
    My advice, don't feed the trolls.
    Don't take this seriously and hide your anger, these shitslingers thrive on your anger.
    And If you are subjected to cyber terrorism, contact the authorities.
    But you know what?
    I don't think John did too bad of a job.
    While I do think there were better ways to address this issue, I don't think it is "The worst thing to happen." like people make it out to be.
    And it is certainly true that the current state of online criminal prosecution is shoddy.
    A stupid kid who said some stupid mean stuff online is being dragged through the mud while real harassers and cyber terrorists sit back and generate more chaos.
    Does this look like an efficient model?
    Plus, revenge porn certainly seems like it is more scewed towards females.
    After all, it is a gender 'nuanced' form of defamation.
    So I don't think John was wrong in that regards.
    I merely wish he didn't isolate the issue too much so that we'll be blind to the whole picture of the issue.
    To the passbyers who only gave a cursory glance to the issue, and waved the feminist flag, I suggest being more skeptical.
    I'm not saying you have to conform to my views.
    I'm just suggesting there is more to this issue than a simpleton's view of "Cis-white-male hurass womyn ;^;" (and question yourself whether if this view is actually reverse racism or sexism)
    To the red pilled, (as you people like to refer to yourselves) be fair here.
    Declaring John to be a kool-aid drunk moron is a gross exaggeration.
    Do some self-reflection and think whether or not that is a groundless emotional reaction.
    Exercise fairness and neutrality rather than falling into polarized political fights fueled by tribalism.
    My god, no one is going to read all this wall of text.
    But if you did....
    Have a good day.

      ***** You are using "slut shames" wrong if you think it can be done to fictional characters. The reason slut shaming is wrong is because there is nothing wrong with a woman expressing her own sexuality by means of her own body. It's about her and her desires and her wishes. A fictional character can't have this at all. The character is controlled by the creator, and this means the sexualization is an extension of the creator's desire and those of the intended audience. Which is where the big difference is. The character has no choice. If you were intending to have a character express her own sexuality, it would have to be made to be as independent of the creator and audience as possible. If the creator does it with the intention of exciting the audience, it's no longer about the character... So yeah... No.
      Also, can you give me one of the "countless examples" so I know where to start?

      pmcaninch42 Taking nude pics and giving them out is the same thing as unlocking all your doors and putting a giant neon sign on your house that reads "please rob me!" Have some common sense. That was a false comparison by Oliver. If you forcibly had nude pics taken then yes, but actively sending your nudes to men is like wearing a sign that says "please murder me" and handing them the gun. I'm against revenge porn but I'm also against people failing to use their brain for 2 seconds before making a decision and demanding that society coddle them for their own stupidity.

      Women speaking up have constantly faced consequences in the past too. Not just physical beatings by their brothers, fathers or spouses, but public shaming in neighborhoods, the salem witch trials and even incarceration for 'hysteria', a catch all that any kind of powerful men could use to call women crazy and have them put in a psyche ward etc. Women have always had the shorter end of the stick. I always hate the arguments about physical fitness in geneology. As a man, I prefer to think it's because women first had the thought to maybe treat others with respect, and man proceeded to ignore her for 8000 years, because we are so unbelievably dense.

    *Starts the video:* Oh boy a new LastWeekTonight show!
    *Talks about women being harassed online:* i see your point but EVERYONE gets harassed by trolls on the internet, EVERYONE, the only difference is that their favorite trolling weapon for women is sexism while for men is screwing with their fandoms, political views and beliefs, or simply being annoying.
    But i'll keep myself open minded.
    *Shows Anita:* OK, i see where this is going...
    I'm not against feminists, atleast those who truly want equality even if, personally, i think they should call them self equalists since they want equality in both sexes and all races.
    Feminism will always sound sexist to me, it sounds like the female version of Machismo.
    Now, Anita is a perfect example why feminism are seen as a joke;
    She's a proven hypocrite, a proven liar and not equalist at all. A fake, plain and simple.
    For the first time, Last Week Tonight has disappointed me, i thought they did some research before showing anything or anyone in the program, there's plenty of proofs that Anita can't be taken seriously, she contradicts herself all the time...
    You did it, John Oliver, now i won't be able to see your future episodes without scepticism, being comic but truthful was what made the program for me...

      so... perpetuating the wage gap myth wasn't ringing any alarm-bells for you?
      Revisit that piece and look for the criticism there... you should have been a bit more vigilant for some time now!
      Most of their segments are still great, but they do have their obvious agenda, that becomes obvious every now and then, esp. in favor of feminist BS...

    • @Rubysh88
      @Rubysh88 9 лет назад +4

      PyrrhoVonHyperborea Most of the times the wage gap is counting the overall income, including the income of housewifes...
      Also women usually take less paying jobs more often than men.
      For example unqualified men vs unqualified women:
      Those women will usually find work in restaurants, shops, as maids, as hairdressers, etc, jobs that don't pay that much while a considerable portion of unqualified men are working on physically intensive but well paying jobs like construction, mechanics, working with trash, etc.
      Of course men will make more than women overall in those cases, its based on the kind of jobs they usually do.
      Now if you look at qualified men and women instead, the gap is almost non existent since white collar jobs are done by both sexes.
      People should stop looking at the overall income but instead compare the wage gap, job by job.:
      Are female police officers, chefs, directors, etc., making less than their male counterparts?
      Also dont forget men are better and more aggressive at negotiating their wages and asking for raises.
      Really, if you could pay women less than men for the same job, why would anyone hire men?

But the thing is Anita wasn't the only woman mentioned here was she? Yet so many people, including you Monseiur, are kinda preoccupied with her. Which is what I'm trying to say. She was in this video for what? 5 minutes? But instead of acknowledging the real problem "haters" just kinda decided to focus on her.
      You can explain the hows and whys but none of that will make it right. I know that you mentioned that too (in brackets, if I may add) but basically your comment is redundant.

    • @wafflerofl891
      @wafflerofl891 7 лет назад +13

      Sandy Hardstone
      I was going to leave it alone but...
      Haters focused on her because the subject itself (Online Harassment) is common knowledge to them. Most people who hate Anita are feminists or people who feel slighted by the way she takes advantage of real problems that women have to make a profit.
      Anita is amongst the people who are subjected to it yes, but other people included in John Oliver's segment are for the most part innocents who suffered unjustly. Anita isn't quite an unjustly hated individual, of course people are going to think: "Why is she being being lumped in with these innocents?" It's the feeling of injustice that causes people to have a kneejerk reaction, they GET the point, but they don't believe that Anita IS as good of a point as others.
      aaannndd that'll be it for anything I have to add to this discussion.

I do however have a problem with those who are just here to bash Anita, most of the people doing that aren't even saying what you're saying. They're just hating on a woman (who, I understand, doesn't belong here) who was featured for perhaps a few minutes in this segment.
      But you do make a point.

    It's shocking how often women get screwed over by nude pics compared to men.
    Also, newsflash for those who are denigrating the women in this video: whenever you find yourself defending the guy who is threatening rape and murder and publicly posting the woman's address, you seriously need to reevaluate your life.

      Jasper Banks Did you...did you actually read your source? The study itself points to the fact that women get sexually harassed almost twice as often as men do on the internet. Disseminating nude pictures without permission and threatening sexual violence is the very definition of sexual harassment.

    • @brainwasher9876
      @brainwasher9876 8 лет назад +29

      Jasper Banks Men send nude photos (or more commonly dick pics) to their significant others all the time, but they rarely--if ever--get terrorized for it following a break-up. It's a free country and people should be able to do what they want without being publicly shamed for it.
      Your first paragraph would require a response several paragraphs long so I can't be bothered to address it. All I have to say is try to look at it from a woman's perspective for a bit, and look up what gamergate is. Even if we discount threatening sexual violence as somehow just violence and not sexual harassment in any way, then the study still shows women being sexually harassed almost twice as much as men on the internet. If that doesn't scream "gender issue" to you then nothing will.

Everyone gets shit online if they express a controversial point of view but somehow it's only harassment when women are the target. Anita is a professional victim, she gets treated the exact same way Jack Thompson was in the 90s for saying similar stuff yet no-one thought Thompson was harassed. People troll Anita not because she's a woman but because of the crazy "video games make people sexist" shit she says. The same happened to Thompson when he said "video games make people violent". I don't think you realise this is what equality looks like. Should people get harassed? No. Is harassment a problem? Yes. Is it about men oppressing women? No it's not.

    Anita Sarkesean makes her living on victimizing herself. Its a little disrespectful to the massive amount of women who have been genuinely harassed without any monetary incentive or popular exposure to have her follow a woman whos had her life destroyed by revenge porn.
    I say this as a feminist, as someone whos been on work trips to Africa to build girls schools, who understands that the empowerment of women and their equal treatment and protection under the law is vital to further progress within our ever more global society; Anita and other sensationalist acts of the same shade are bad for the movement. They take energy and frustration that HAS to act as a catalyst if we want to fix this sort of thing, and redirects into banal self righteous squabbling with schoolboys on reddit.

    “You should get better boyfriends.”
    If that’s not a lame excuse and a form of victim blaming, I don’t know what is. Immature boyfriends are mysterious. When women first meet them, they act like the “love of her life” and then turn around as a back stabber when they cannot deal with the reality of a relationship. How was the victim supposed to predict he would do such a thing?! It’s not ok! It never was and it never will be ok! Ruining someone’s life is the ultimate callous narcissism. People who do that should be punished at the highest proportional extent of law.

    • @sebastianwallin3726

      Ruining someones can also be a form of justice.
      And yes people do have responsibility for their life and who they use their time on.
      Victim blaming is a such a curling generation phenomenon. If it's about to rain and you don't go inside then yes you're at fault for getting wet. How about stop blaming the weather?
      Narcissism is sending pictures of yourself without clothes to others because you needed your narcissist/gratification fix.
      Also why so ashamed of your own body? It's yours and it's natural. No need to ever feel embaressed about that.
      Ohh no people saw me without clothes what's next they catch me drinking water from a bottle? 🙉🙈

    I'm a female and I've been fortunate enough to only be told to get my ass back in the kitchen. As I love my kitchen... that wasn't so bad in the scheme of things.
    But, right now, I'm part of a local chat group that has a person threatening other members. Going to their house. Describing their fence and security system. Snidely saying that they know what car the woman drives and what her husband drives and that 'we know when he's not home to protect you'...
    IT'S A FREAKING WOMAN DOING THE THREATS. She's not shy about her identity. She's flat-out saying that she's going to murder this woman, but she'll try to shield her children from the carnage when she does it. (Yes. The cops have been called)
    One of the worst cases of online bullying that I was ever witness to was a group of three teenage females trying to drive another girl into suicide.
    Online harassment is a major problem, but women are just as guilty and men are just as likely to be victims.
    Human beings SUCK. And, if given the opportunity, we'll suck even harder.
    Bullying isn't a female problem. It's a human problem.
    Now I'm going to relieve some of this stress by putting an egg in my baby-maker and punching it. (I'll bet money that there's a fetish video out there showing this exact same thing... *sigh*)

    I've dealt with something similar. An ex of mine did her best to screw me over with several blog postings to disdain my name and image just because I wanted to break up with her. I couldn't do anything. I have no money for a legal case. It's utter bullshit.

      Aydren1 No, we're not. These people are SJWs. They're the problem. We're not the problem. Stop placing the blame on the people who are truly being treated badly and start holding these SJWs accountable for their actions.

    I'm sorry John, but you and your team blew it with the first part of this segment.
    Anita is a liar and a con artist, and a little bit of digging around would've shown you why so many people hate her so much.
    And it's NOT because she's a woman or a feminist.

      Also plenty of white men get harassed like boogie who has received overwhelming amounts of threats and insults because of his weight, Total biscuit for being a public figure was threatened by someone who claimed they knew his home address and were going to find him and Milo Yiannopoulos, for being in political opposition to a group of people had a dead animal sent to him.

      boxbreaker2011 so its good this video IS NOT ABOUT HER OR HER CAUSE OR FEMINISM, right?

    • @PuntedKitten
      @PuntedKitten 9 лет назад

      boxbreaker2011 Oh, it's definitely because she is a feminist. She's a feminist trying to insert "feminism" into video games, fighting the "patriarchy" of gender stereotypes. The fact that she is not much of a gamer just adds to the insult.

    • @adam0v0tube

      yeah but this video is about revenge porn, not videogames feminism.

    every time I binge John Oliver I forget why this one is so disliked then get hit by a sledgehammer when Sarkeesian's con artist mug popping up. It makes sense though, since in 2015 she was still a figurehead, but time made very clear while she received genuine harassment she also invited it by making uninformed arguments and labeled all criticism as sexism, and in doing so irreparably harmed efforts make the video game industry genuinely more progressive.

  • @CarlosRIOS777
    @CarlosRIOS777 2 года назад +1

    This is so horrible and insane. The main solution is copyright and the copyright is just as bizarre. Men who do this, anyone who does revenge p*rn need to be held accountable and arrested and sued. How do people get away with this, keep their jobs, get to be around other women and even children after doing something like this?

      BacktoRitual To be honest, and a devil's advocate, researching an example feels like too much work. Other examples seem credible, if just one was under-researched, I don't think that's too bad.

    I SWEAR, JOHN OLIVER, I AM GOING TO FIND OUT WHERE YOU LIVE AND I'M GONNA SHOW UP ARMED WITH love and give you a big hug for being so awesome and funny. And come to think of it, it'd be rude to just show up at your home, so I will wait until such time as I happen to see you on the street and, in passing, I'll say, "Hey John, big fan" and I'll keep walking.
