I totally agree. Dandadan’s visual storytelling is top-tier. And thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed the video!

There is a specific sequence during the fight scene in episode 9 that comes to mind.
Momo and Ken are in the middle of a life-or-death fight, but they stop to have an argument. Ken had lied to her, and Momo saw Ken on top of Aira behind the school. Momo assumes the worst, but it truly is a misunderstanding. Ken lied, yes, and for selfish reasons - but NOT the reasons Momo is assuming.
Ken realizes that despite Momo saying she isn't bothered, she totally is. Ken confronts Momo, with Momo returning in kind with anger and hurt. As each yells, the water swells with the background fight, placing each speaker higher in the frame in turn. Then, with Ken placing a boundary on their relationship - "if something is bothering you, TELL me! I don't care what others think of me; you are the only one I want, I *need* to fully understand" - the water briefly calms and they are on the same level. Ken is being as open and honest as possible in the situation, and is coincidentally naked. Momo is still clothed - her walls are up - but the words reached her.
Great video! It really got me thinking about how much depth there is in DANDADAN, and I look forward to future viewings! 😊

I haven't finished the show, but my favorite episode so far is episode 5 since it does a great job of demonstrating their heightened feelings for each through softer moments, big moments, and some charmingly childish misunderstanding

I was hooked from the end of ep. 1. It's crazy how much they managed to cram into that first episode, and it all flows together seamlessly. I love it

@@lenonel3286many did struggle with episode 1 alone given the SA scene (even if the intent is for it to be scary, not exciting)
So 3 is still a good rule
(Though I think with DDD many got hooked for real by ep 7)
