I love how this retains the art style, even putting it closer to the art outside of the game and doesn't just look "ULTRA REALISTIC". Very nice to look at, also whoever voiced Wario did a good job lol.
The Wario... Not terrible at all, very good in fact! But it feels like a weird combo of his Party voice clips in that voice pitch with Kart 64 lines. Either way, I'd take it. Whether it's up to the creator and/or voiceover choices for these lines, or how unfeasible it would've been to use Wario voice clips from any of the games, this is a good version.
To the Zoomers that don't understand the importance of this: It's not meant to by a 100% modern up-to-date graphical remake, but to remaster/recreation of what we saw on the box art/promo pieces, like from TV commercials during that era. It really needs to be stated that the background sprites, camera, physics, and even the text/boxes are all true to the original as well! There are some bugs with when songs/fanfare should play/stop, but otherwise perfect. Truly a remarkable masterpiece!
@@jockson7574 I don't think you know the difference between a remake and a remastered. Using crt lines with the original resolution but keeping PT, the new texture and the model poligons... I have to try it ⭐
