The vesre I credit this band with saving my Ife.
Returned from Afghanistan, sent through a divorce and losing everything.
So being LOST is an understatement.
Heard this song and that verse resonated.
The words Rise to Fall Again, with the up tempo of the music, made me realize that life is gonna give me a kick in the keister... I'll revover from it... Then it'll kick me again...
Nothing is finite until I make it so.
Probably wasn't what these guys were meaning to say. But at that specific place and time, it was what it meant.

Imo, paired with dear agony
If dear agony is Benjamin "killing his old self" by ending his addiction, and the pain he went through in that process. This song is both about mourning that loss, and being reborn and struggling to find a new a path.
