- Fall is one of our favorite season for King Salmon Fishing. This day we target Chinook Salmon using three different fishing methods, Fly Fishing, Centrepin Fishing, and Spin Fishing. We also shared some fishing tips when fishing for King(Chinook) Salmon based on our experience. We visited two Lake Ontario tributaries in one day to find Salmon that are willing to bite.

My favourite way to catch salmon is out in the lake. Casting spoons and crankbaits at the piers and river mouths is a fight like no other fighting them in open water is a rush.
@@truenorthangler Hard to beat Pier fishing. That's when they are the strongest. I've only been fishing at the Pier once before I discovered fly fishing. I may have to dust off my spin gear and try again :)
Mag lips, fresh roe bag under a float or bottom bouncing.
Great fishing trip and top class catch, tight lines and greetings from faraway land of New Zealand, Tony.
Thank you very much Tony
Great job! Those kings are huge!
Thank you
What a great day out there,Bryan. Loved the video, great tutorial and great content. Always great to see those angry salmon hit those wooly buggers and streamers and also a pain in the ass when they get foul hooked. Like you said, it is common especially when the pool is stacked with them. Really well put video, really enjoyed the voice over and the content in this video.
Thank you again Adrian! :) Yup I agree it's a pain when you foul hook them, I feel sorry for the fish and I'm afraid I might break my rod again (happened once). The woolly bugger and streamer chase are my favorites, you feel the tug right away even if you can't see the fish.
I love the run in the river! Those guys are tons of fun to catch. My very first outing for these Chinook I hooked three and only landed one. The one through the dorsal fin took off at least 30 yards down the river. You guys made me laugh!!!
Nice glad you like it. Yes the ones hooked on their fins or tails are hard to control. If I end up landing a foul hooked fish I just let it go right away without pics. Hoping to go again this week. Are you going to fish for them again?
@@BryanWentFishing I'm actually going this Thanksgiving weekend. I met some guys in the bowmanville area that are going to show me some good spots. Definitely put a video out if it ends up being a good session.
Damn so big
Yes they are! But to be honest, these are not the biggest ones in the pool. :) Thanks for dropping by
i really enjoy watching this video. Looking forward for the next fishing.
Thank you very much for the support Mommy Chelle TV

@@BryanWentFishing anytime kabayan.
Wow the big fish
Yes! they get big out here, thanks again for dropping by.
Wow! Those King Salmons can really put on a fight! I need to go fishing with you some day! 🙌
Yes! Let's go!!! We can teach the kids how to fish for them at the same time lol.
Brian your video is the very nice
Thank you very much, glad you like it.
Nice to see such beautiful color! Personally I don't like to see thousands of pin anglers targeting in a pool with some poor Chinook where they won't bite anymore. Yours is way much different! If I could find such a great pool, with less people, more fish, I'll definitely go!
Great video!
Thanks Peng Du. Yes more fish than people is always better. I find hiking a little more when I think im far enough from the crowd pays dividends most of the time. How has your Salmon season been?
@@BryanWentFishing nothing yet haha, just went out twice!
Lol this vid was my third outing. First two times I couldn't land them for some reason. Don't give up just yet. Steelie season is here too I think.
Wow
Thank you 😊
New subscriber here! Liking the videos, keep them coming!

Thanks bro :D First time story telling, was kinda nervous haha.
Haha good stuff!Looks like a blast!
Thank you very much! We did have a blast. Do you have access to any of the Pacific Salmon where you are?
@@BryanWentFishing Oh yeah, went out last month for Pink salmon, coho are in, but I haven't had time to get out for the coho, chum are starting to show up too, hopefully hit them in the next month or so.
Nice video mate tight lines
Thank you very much 🙂 Tight lines!
@@BryanWentFishing , May be try euro nymphing for them too, the precision and feel is unmatchable with a suspension device like a float or an indicator.
I use the centrepin myself, was this an east trib of Toronto? your fish look really fresh for oct, I would like to get a few its all over probably the next weekend would be the last, Ping me if you would like to guide.
Steelheads on the pin are no brainer but salmon, have a tough time with lock jawed fish, did manage a few on the pin worm though
@@MrSurfangler Oh yes, tightlining for salmon is good as well. Just didn't have luck on it on that day. This was taken late September by the way, thats why they are fresh. I'd love to go again but got something for this weekend already.
cool video tol!!!
Thanks tol! 🙂
