I absolutely love the broken rib sweater. Nicely done. Your craft room as a filming location is great. The lighting was fine for me and the ambiance fits the podcast.
The ribbed sweater is lovely. PS. Alternating video spots is good. I love your living room and the “new studio” is good too. The sound is slightly different between the areas.
I'm loving the broken rib sweater even more the more I see. The side twisted rib is such a great detail. I'm thinking this would make a great dress too!
Thanks for the beautiful video. Love those socks! So clever! Floats: I don’t catch them. Never had a problem once I learned how to regulate tension ( I keep my yarn on separate hand and knit combination, and it works wonderfully! )♥️
The socks are stunning and the sweater looks so good on you!!!! ❤ love how unisex the sweater is - would love to make one for my husband some time in the future!
How about the Hatchmaker Socks - I love the blue and speckled and I have never even knit socks, the DP’s are the reason - my hands just cant work those things…. G in BC
Really liked that ribbed sweater. Hope you do the twisted rib from under the arm on the sleeves as well. Also had fun spotting your feet and hands in the mirror behind you.
Darned, missed the test knit call! But at least I am now signed up to your newsletter and will catch the test call for the broken rib sweater - which looks absolutely amazing! I am curious to see what you’ll do with the sleeves! I immediately thought of balloon ones! I really liked the sock in the ice blue/burgundy colorway! I did not notice the change in the pattern until you talked about it, so I think you did a good job with it! (I am really overusing the exclamation mark!)
This might be way out there but as I was looking at your socks it reminded me of the pattern in little chunks of red and black licorice. Obviously different colors.
Those socks look great, I think I'm still leaning towards the speckled version, but both look really good! I usually like to catch my floats for socks, if it is more than 5 stitches in one color, but I think the fact that I mainly use Ladderback Jacquard to catch floats keeps the colorwork stretchier than standard float catching. The horizontal lines in these socks might actually be a good place to put a ladder in the middle, since you can use the ladder in which ever color you need it in each round. Meaning you could catch the float in the same place every round for the color not used in the horizontal part.
I LOVE that sweater!!! I'd love to knit both a long and short sleeve version. I love the socks too but haven't gotten into sock knitting quite yet (LOL).
That small table needs a cat perched on it, just saying. Love the new space, so inspiring! The Ribbed Sweater is gorgeous-planning my trip to Wool & Co for that yarn and colour the moment you release the pattern ❤🧶
I also love the broken rib sweater. And agree it would also look good as a short sleeve. Just wondering how it would do on a bigger bust. I’m in the middle of my first sweater and had to add bust darts. So am not experienced enough to know how that would work with the rib. I think overall the lighting is better in your new studio than your previous site. Even when the sun goes in. It mimics pro photo lighting more closely when it is coming from in front of you but somewhat indirectly. Hey to Bagel, Tuna and Boink!
I'm grading this to fit sizes from 30-62 in (75-155 cm) with adjustable compound raglans depending on the size so that the armhole depth ease amount stays consistent. I haven't added any other shaping to this, though, so I'm not sure how this would look with bust darts added in. I'm thinking if you continued your incs/decs at the raglan line (and then the side seam after armhole separation) it should work!
Your new sock design is wonderful! To me, it looks like graph paper or an Excel spreadsheet. Maybe conjure up a name based on that? In any case, when will it be released? I am keen to knit it up. 🙂
OMG I am obsessed with that broken rib sweater!!! Cannot wait to make it!!! Wonder if a worsted weight of superwash wool/organic cotton would work out. Did you try Blue Sky Fibers Sweater yarn? It is literally called "sweater", ironic right? It is a beautiful yarn.
Name suggestions: Chisel, Etch, Imprint, Engraved, Inlay, Carve, Inscribe or Lithographic ❤ Good Luck on the naming journey. I love the studio. Beautiful set up
That small table needs a cat perched on it, just saying. Love the new space, so inspiring! The sock pattern makes me think of the lattice crust on a pie 🤷♀️
I've tried that before in a pinch! It's definitely a good option. Fortunately I don't have to use the DPNs for too long, I typically only switch to them once I have 10 sts per needle (over 4 needles).
I don’t know why... but the sock pattern is kinda reminding me of like, Archie Comics or something along those lines... not sure if that sparks any name suggestions from anyone 🤷🏼♀️

Thank you so much!!
The ribbed sweater is lovely.

Agreed, I think I'll change it up depending on what I'm sharing. Thanks!
I'm loving the broken rib sweater even more the more I see. The side twisted rib is such a great detail. I'm thinking this would make a great dress too!
Ohhh that would be such a fun idea! Thanks!
Over under woven sock for a name !
That's a great name!

Good to know! I really think this pattern doesn't need them.
Hi, your craft room looks very nice and the light is great, but I very missed the cat alerts 🐈 🐈⬛
My 3 year old upon seeing the broken rib sweater "Mom, you need that!" 😂. Maybe later kid, mom has a lot of WIPs right now. Beautiful pattern!
Haha omg that's adorable!
Love the new sweater design! The yarn room location looks great too!
Thank you!!
The socks are stunning and the sweater looks so good on you!!!! ❤ love how unisex the sweater is - would love to make one for my husband some time in the future!
Thanks YeJi! I love the idea of this sweater being unisex; tbh I hadn't even thought of that!
I really love that sock and sweater! Cant wait for those two to come out!
Hi - I like your new podcast filming location. Your socks and sweater are beautiful! Thanks for the fun podcast.
Thank you!! 🥰
Oh, and I also really like the new filming location!
The sweat is beautiful and I love your sock pattern and colors.
Thank you so much!
I am so excited for your Ribbed Sweater!
Thank you!! Me too 😀
How about the Hatchmaker Socks - I love the blue and speckled and I have never even knit socks, the DP’s are the reason - my hands just cant work those things…. G in BC
That's a great name!
I love your new studio! Way to go! 🎉
Thank you!!
I love the woven socks in the color changing yarn, so beautiful! I am too lazy to knit colorwork socks, but they are stunning.
Thank you!!
Loving the broken rib sweater❤
Thank you so much! I'm really thrilled with it.
Really liked that ribbed sweater. Hope you do the twisted rib from under the arm on the sleeves as well. Also had fun spotting your feet and hands in the mirror behind you.
That's the plan! Just need to make sure everything works out ok with the numbers. Thanks!

Oh how fun! I can definitely see that.
I love black licorice especially.

LBJ would work great on these socks!
I love your socks, the faded pair look like liquorice allsorts 😊
I can totally see that!
Having a crafting room is the dream! Prefer the previous filming location (only because of sound), but both are fine :)
That definitely makes sense, the acoustics are much better in the other room. Thanks!
I LOVE that sweater!!! I'd love to knit both a long and short sleeve version. I love the socks too but haven't gotten into sock knitting quite yet (LOL).
Haha totally fair! It's a rabbit hole for sure.
That small table needs a cat perched on it, just saying.

Oh that's so exciting to hear! I can't imagine being able to visit Wool & Co in person!!
@ it’s a dangerously short 45 min drive for me……and my wallet 🙄
@@lgm204 that is SO dangerous!!

love the short sleeve idea and love the item. Also, how about "hatch chili socks". They are spicy!!
Oh I love that name!
Name suggestions: Chisel, Etch, Imprint, Engraved, Inlay, Carve, Inscribe or Lithographic ❤ Good Luck on the naming journey. I love the studio. Beautiful set up
These are great names, thank you!!
That small table needs a cat perched on it, just saying.
Love the new space, so inspiring!
The sock pattern makes me think of the lattice crust on a pie 🤷♀️
Oh I definitely see that!
I think a cute sock name would be the library socks or something with books because they look a lot like books on a shelf to me.
Oh I love that!!
The socks really remind me of parquet floors. So maybe the Parquet Sock?
The socks remind me of hardwood parquet flooring
Oh I absolutely see that!
I use two 9” circs for my toes and heels. Have you tried that method?
I've tried that before in a pinch! It's definitely a good option. Fortunately I don't have to use the DPNs for too long, I typically only switch to them once I have 10 sts per needle (over 4 needles).
@ just think of those knitting pioneers who only used dpns. They are the real heroes. 🤭
As soon as I saw your socks all I could think for a name is “candy crush” like the game.
Name idea: Hazel Hatch Socks
Oh that's a super cute name!
I don’t know why... but the sock pattern is kinda reminding me of like, Archie Comics or something along those lines... not sure if that sparks any name suggestions from anyone 🤷🏼♀️
I never even thought of that! Thanks 😃
Sock name: what about Four Layer Cake?
That's such a cute name idea!!
I LOVEEEEE The icy blue and purple for whatever it's worth!
Thank you!! I do too, I think at some point it will become a third pair 😉
