I love the old couple in front of the posters. I am a beginner photographer. Can you please comment briefly on what kind of exposure settings you use to get that lovely contrast between light and shadow? I am having trouble understanding how to expose for these kinds of scenes.
Thanks! Yeah, of course. I typically use aperture priority while shooting, so I choose an aperture and then let the camera automatically set the shutter speed and ISO. The way the camera sets those values are based on my photometry setting, which I had "multi", it makes the camera to look at the whole scene and adjust the values to set a balanced exposure for the whole scene. So all in all, the camera itself helped a lot with it! If you want to learn more about it, checkout this video, I found it helpful and explain this stuff really well! ruclips.net/video/_tahbRKbfAc/видео.html
@@sandeharsa Thanks for your reply! I’m really enjoying your videos. Like I said, I’m a beginner photographer and I also live in Melbourne so I’m familiar with a lot of the places you are shooting. Your videos help me to see the city differently, and helps me to imagine its creative potential.
the window reflection shot is a keeper, could do a series of those
Haha, yeah. One of my favourites!
I love the photo with the lion statue 👏
