People give Shadow a lot of flak for not running when he had the chance, but in his defense the Ultimate Lifeform is immune to all sickness and disease. He had no way of knowing the Metal Virus would be the exception and just kind of misunderstood everyone in the heat of the moment.
Nah... It's because Shadow got jobbered, Ian Flynn wanted Shadow to take off his inhibitor rings and go out like a hero but Sega's mandates said otherwise. SPOILERS: Essentially Ian hated how restrictive Sega was with Shadow (No Team Dark friendship, minimum chaos powers for Shadow, Shadow in general being unlikable, etc) so he had no choice but to write him out of the metal virus narrative which is further backed up by the fact Zombot Shadow doesn't do anything (After #20) until the end of the arc when Knux fights him. And for good measure they nerfed Shadow even more when he became a Zombot: No rocket shoes, no chaos powers and overall is significantly weaken. As an easy means of covering a major plot hole of why Zombot Shadow wasn't a massive and continuous threat in the arc.
What’s the most frustrating about the whole thing is Sega wants Shadow to be like Vegeta with his pride and all that so badly… without realizing that even Vegeta isn’t THAT insufferable anymore. In an effort to make Shadow more of a rival character… they made him LESS like the current iteration of the rival character Shadow is often compared to. Surprisingly Shadow was best written in 06… where Shadow was more like DBS Vegeta… grumpy and awkward but still caring… but Modern Shadow is like Cell Games Vegeta… “Pride blah blah blah no friends cause pride blah blah blah Ultimate blah blah blah” …. It’s sad that Sega’s mandates is forcing Shadow to regress as a character.
Omega's voicework had me laughing every time he spoke! And Cream is just too sweet for this nightmare world. Props to everyone in this dub, but especially to the VAs for Cream and Omega -- those two were my favorite this time around!
It's only gonna get worse for cream from here on out! Poor girl! she's always been my favourite but I'm glad that she's staying positive and being a true sweetheart in the Restoration HQ

Ok, someone explain to me how this got to be this good?? It doesn’t even feel like I’m watching a dub, it just feels like a professional tv show or something! It’s so high quality, the voices and the sound design are all on point! Legit, Adrenaline Dubs is the best there is when it come to comic dub! Keep up the amazing work guys!

I love how shadow just comedically chases the truck and how single-minded Omega is *INSTALL JAW MECHANISM. I SHALL BITE THEIR ANKLES OFF* . Also not sure if I'm hearing wrong but did Sonic's voice get more robotic as his infection spread? If it did love the attention to detail.
I know right. I love all of the zombot voices. they sound so good. they sound utterly terrifying. like there’s still a fraction of their original selfs in there but what comes out of their mouths is anything but normal. it’s like they’ve regressed to an animal like state and the sounds they make sounds sort of like what they’ve sounded like before but now all that’s left is an empty emotionless and animalistic shell of their former selfs. overall though yeah. I agree with you. the sound design is spot on. I love what they’ve done for these dubs so much and I hope they continue to make the zombots sound even scarier as the arc goes on.

Man I love all the voice actors they nail their jobs so well here. I love that Sonic's VA still sounds like a teen but also sounds serious. I like how Silver sounds naïve and innocent, and Vector's, Espio's, Omega's, and Starline's voices are just perfect. Keep up the great work guys you are doing amazing.
At first i thought that during the early parts of this issue, Landy's voice lines were a bit corrupted. BUT...i think i like it that way, given how Sonic's being still infected by the Metal Virus, gives it a very...metallic, yet eerie vibe to the voices. When Sonic is seen normal, he sounds normal. But when the virus keeps spreading big on his body, his voice sounded almost robotic...god that makes this arc a lot darker.
THIS MUSIC WAS OUTSTANDING IN THIS ISSUE! I particularly love the music starting from 3:18! it's so well composed. Great job Techno Cinema! It felt so impactful to the characters and to us as viewers of these dubs. Excellent job to everyone involved in this issue. I managed to catch "[We went down] on Turtleshell Island", and when Amy says to keep a low profile, I heard "Not possible. We do not [have cover]." Not too sure about the words in square brackets, but context clues from Amy's actually scripted lines straight from the comic would suggest I'm at least not too far off!
I wonder if the reason why the virus is affected by Sonic's speed is because his metabolism works much harder when he goes really fast and kills the virus. Kind of like a real one.
Once again amazing voice acting! The sound effects and music really add to the scenes and mood towards the comic. Waiting for these dubs is 100% worth it with all this incredible work and editing. Starline is sounding so menacing now and I love it! Amazing work guys 💙

If you haven’t watched this series from the beginning, I totally recommend it. This dub feels less like a comic dub and more like an official anime from the start! This VA cast and editing crew is simply amazing.

With each and every issue dubbed this feels less like an your run of the mill comic dub and more like an official anime series… although with you guys, it’s felt like an official anime since the first issue… it’s just… you’ve all improved so much since issue 1 up to now that you all sound better than ever, and I had no idea that was even possible. Every VA is perfectly cast… I know I gushed about Landy’s Sonic to kingdom come, so this time I wanna highlight the VAs for Cream and Omega… their performances are stunning… also the VA for Gemerl nailed that “Filed under sass” like. To add a 4th highlight (since I gushed about Cream, Omega, and Gemerl) Starline’s voice was much harder to imagine when I first read the comics since he never had a VA… but now I can’t stop reading his lines with this voice in mind. Perfect voice for Starline!! It’s simply perfect!!
i like the shorter adventures here and there, but i want more epic stories. an event happen, we see each character/ group interacting with it, then joining forces and over coming it. i know the metal virus arc got a little dark for some people, but the general formula was perfect. and all of these fan-dubs are top notch. highly professional and the voices really fit the characters.
Christmas has come early I see. With this series continuation along with the launching of Sonic Movie 2, Sonic Prime, Sonic Origins, and Sonic Frontiers ALL next year where truly entering the year of Sonic!

With each and every issue dubbed this feels less like an your run of the mill comic dub and more like an official anime series… although with you guys, it’s felt like an official anime since the first issue… it’s just… you’ve all improved so much since issue 1 up to now that you all sound better than ever, and I had no idea that was even possible. Every VA is perfectly cast… I know I gushed about Landy’s Sonic to kingdom come, so this time I wanna highlight the VAs for Cream and Omega… their performances are stunning… also the VA for Gemerl nailed that “Filed under sass” like. To add a 4th highlight (since I gushed about Cream, Omega, and Gemerl) Starline’s voice was much harder to imagine when I first read the comics since he never had a VA… but now I can’t stop reading his lines with this voice in mind. Perfect voice for Starline!! It’s simply perfect!!
i like the shorter adventures here and there, but i want more epic stories. an event happen, we see each character/ group interacting with it, then joining forces and over coming it. i know the metal virus arc got a little dark for some people, but the general formula was perfect.
and all of these fan-dubs are top notch. highly professional and the voices really fit the characters.
Christmas has come early I see. With this series continuation along with the launching of Sonic Movie 2, Sonic Prime, Sonic Origins, and Sonic Frontiers ALL next year where truly entering the year of Sonic!
YESS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING!! I feel like 2022 is finally gonna be a good year, ESPECIALLY for Sonic fans!! It truly feels like it'll be the year of Sonic and I cannot wait! Not to mention a lot of great Nintendo games are also coming next year!

Legit his Starline is incredible. I always struggled to find a voice for him when I first read these myself… now Wolfblade’s voice is just how Starline sounds for me… it’s so perfect!

4:08 Wow, Sonic sounded really angry there. Looks like he is finally being serious and getting frustrated and clearly is upset about what happened on that day. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE FORCES SONIC. Sonic Forces was such a waste, man. Such a waste.
This is actually pretty cool. Probably have already said this, but the voice acting is top notched, along with the background music as well. And at the end of it, it gives me a vibe like an old Saturday morning cartoon. Please, keep it up

Legit this is the best dub out there and I love how Omega’s voice sounds it’s the closest thing to heroes we’ve gotten also I learned of this comic series yesterday and well just watched the whole thing.
