Great content Dr. Woods as usual. Appreciate your efforts to educate hunters on shot placement.
Awesome video dr.
This is a video everyone who hunts needs to see!
Refreshing to hear the word "created," rather than "evolved." Great video! Slowmo shots were amazing to see.
Thanks for the encouraging words!
exciting to see all the shot footage! Worked hard to lower my aim point with this in mind and it paid dividends last year. the slow mo has shed a lot of light on why sometimes what I see on the dead animal after the hunt doesn't match what I thought I saw with my eyes lol
I love this channel!! God bless you all!
Great one Grant. Seeing these SLO Mo shots makes it all clear what can happen.
Hey grant! I’ve been watching you since I was a little kid I would love to see your deer wall in a video and breaking down the story of the hunt and deer I think it would be very cool to share the memories over the years not just for me but for everyone including new fans much love from Kentucky!
Grant, this is the BEST video I have ever seen on shot placement. Thanks for sharing it with us, your video is incredible!!! God Bless, your friend, Bob
Thanks Bob!
Excellent lessons, thank you.
Excellent Grant!
Thanks for sharing. I’ve been watching your channel and since 2010!
Awesome! Thank you!
Great video thanks
Went out this morning. Watched a fawn feed and 2 little 4 pointers click their antlers together a few times.
Great information as always. Assuming that you use a 20 yard pin and a 30 yard pin as appropriate, do you use a slightly different aim point at 30 versus 20 yards?
I don't - I aim the same at all distances.
Can you find an aerospace engineer to make silent fletching or fins? That would be a nice project however it's way above my education.
Why are your arrows barely penetrating? And that bow is so loud. Good advice but whats your setup
These bag targets even stop my 405 fps crossbow arrows.
@@jamesmartin7282 im not talking about the target. I was talking about the deer
where did you get the portable target holder
Scott - A friend of mine built it for me. It's VERY nice!
Does shooting a crossbow change your aim? Do you plan for less reaction time and adjust your shot
I wouldn't - given the accuracy of crossbows! Deer can still react even at the speed of crossbows!
Yessuh
Shoot traditional. Bow makes very little noise if any. Ive never had a deer react to the string. Have they taken a step? Yeah, only because it already was going to. Yes,the arrow travels slower and I have to be close. But have never seen a deer react to my string like the ones in this video.
Ive had reactions but not this dramatic. Im sure they were cherry picked videos. And everyone knows a deer moves but yeah not like this
In the state of IL all the fawns are taught to move like the Matrix……
@@jimmaupin6721 😂😂😂
@@bowdeer5074 unless a deers head is down the movement isnt enough to cause issues if you aim for the vital V. I am for the heart, this fella was banking for double lungs. Never even spoke about a heart punch
I enjoy using Trad bows!
