Hey dude!! I needed to come and add a comment, I followed your video and was totally able to do my handlebar swap out yesterday all by myself! I was waiting weeks to install them because every video I had seen showed everyone really struggling to get the grip off the throttle body, and as a small woman, I was super nervous to get into this project and then run into a step where I just didnt have the strength to complete it. Your trick about sliding the bar out of the throttle tube worked great and gave me the confidence to just go for it!! Also loved your tips about just immediately putting the screws back into the control modules as they dangled to keep everything together and tidy. Thank you so much for the detailed video! I try and do most of the work on my bikes on my own, but some projects I feel out of my depth, I'm glad this wasnt one of them!
Hi Elise, I’m very grateful for your kind words and happy you were able to complete your install by yourself. Never sell yourself short on your capabilities. Being patient and having the right tools is sometimes all you need.
Kinda leery about ordering those drag bars from Indianaftermarket; seeing that it was threaded wrong and the angle of the bars were so much straighter than your previous bars.
Hi oxouk I got a indian scout bobber abs 2019 I buy already my bars and my cuestión is the mesure for the pin hole you tech in the video is the same for my motorcycle
Great video as always amigo! If I may add a suggestion, You should do a brake bleed procedure video next, because there’s going to be someone who moves the banjo too much potentially getting air in the system. I also use nipples in my video as the terminology as you have seen, I believe they are called “detents” but nipple is the more common word. Speaking of nipples, the new bar didn’t seem to have ones on the tips where the bar ends mount, what were those for on the previous bar? Also, when I had removed my stock bars (to replace my upper tree clamp), for those who are worried, I used a paint marker to mark the positioning of the bar to the speedometer clamp, so I could return it to its original location. Lastly, if you have insta, DM me amigo, I’m interested in procuring the wrong pitch bars from you!
When I spoke to the guy that makes the bars, he said the small extension at the bar ends were not needed as they were originally intended to stop the mirrors from rotating. If you remove your mirrors you’ll see a recessed section on the inside spacer. He said even with that there, they still rotate anyway, so he removed them. Once I receive the new bars I have to return the others which he will re tap the ends then sell again. Thanks for the feedback also. It’s always welcome.
@@oxouk ahh, damn. Thought I may get lucky. What was the pitch anyway? Hopefully the new bars are bent to a better position than the wrong pitch ones! Do you have Instagram?
@@StreetPilots Marcus said he drills them all 8 mm. The ones he sent was too small. Couldn’t even get the screw started. Other than RUclips, I don’t do social media.

It was an L shaped electrical junction plate I bought at Lowes. Basically any thin sheet metal with a 90 degree bend will work. I just had to drill a couple holes to accommodate the holes to mount to the seat bracket. If I find the exact part at Lowes I’ll post it to this comment.
@@A_sadh2 I was at Lowes today. the part I used for the license plate frame was item # 2504882 model # C23R1. The brand is nVent Caddy. It's called an electrical box bracket to stud. Hope this helps.
Hi I have a 2022 scout bobber with 200 miles on it and the check engine light came on at stop light I’m not sure how to check codes but everything seems fine and earlier I put gas in it so might be a fuel censor but what do u think thanks
First thing you should do is take it to the dealership you bought it from. Put it on a trailer if possible or ride it if it seems to be performing normal. They’ll scan it to find out for sure. Check engine lights can be a multitude of things. If it flashes that usually is not good.
Needing to have a hole in the bars to aline the clutch lever and module is sorry. Very first bike I ever seen that is set up needing a hole in the bars. This hole limits the angle of the lever once drilled. In my opinion Indian should design parts that clamp tighter so this hole isn't needed. I like the bike's look but after watching some video , seem to me that Indian has made this bike a little cheaply
Great video. Thanks for the awesome tip on the fine grit cream for any stripped bolt heads!
You are a GENIUS! Your customizations are UNREAL! So glad I subscribed to your channel. My bike also thanks you!
I got my bars the other day from Aftermarket but haven't done the install. Great Video!
Great video! Thanks for making me confident enough to go through this mod by myself.
Thanks for the video! Great guide and explanations along the way.

Awesome! Thank you Scarlett. I have a couple of drum videos on my channel. Sean was a huge influence growing up.

Hey, love your videos. I got a question about having a 16inch wheel in the front, and the 18inch in the back. Have you noticed any handling issues?
None whatsoever as the overall height is still the same.

What mirrors do you have?
