Let’s take a moment to appreciate how far around the track he must have walked to set his camera and go back just to have the ride through fresh snow - just for our viewing pleasure 👌🏻
Chris you’re a legend. People will just never get how far ahead of everything you do activity-wise you have to be in your head to do all the survival And all the innovative things you do AND STILL be thinking about how to express and craft and convert your story only through self-filming. You’re the Jack Kerouac of outdoor adventure self-filming. I love you maaaaaan!!!
Thanks again for showing me how much of real life in our country I am missing. You don't talk about it, you just do it; no fuss, no big-noting yourself, you just go bush and enjoy showing us what it's all about. Thanks Chris, for another freakin' clever adventure video. I'm going bush this weekend. Cheers, Gavin
Chriiis. Maaaate! Showing the world what it is to be Aussie. Bundi in the snow. Building half an igloo amongst bushfire ravaged gums. Smahing a postie bike through a veritable wall of ice. Overcoming the flood from the inevitable meltwater to then ravage a well earnt burger with beetroot, thus removing the horrible aftertaste of burnt splitpeaandhamsoupinthecampoven! This IS CHRIS. Great
Let's just thank Chris for how my effort he puts into his channel you are a true legend 👊 he doesn't ask for subscribers he is just there to give us true entertainment 💯
Thanks Chris for showing "Aussie" men they don't need a $100K pimped out Barbie camper to enjoy camping & fishing. This brought back so many memories when I was younger. Thanks mate.
Epic! Innovative way to make blocks of snow, well done. We used to use snow shovels to make walls and “kitchens” when camping in the snow between Kozzy and Mt Townsend.
Clicked 'thumb's up' before I watched it as I knew it would be good. Never seen an Australian igloo before! Agree about these great little bikes, I have a 1985 CT110 Postie, it's great for exploring the Darling downs.
Jeeeezus Chris. Just noticed 131k subscribers. Wow! Another work of art. Thanks. From subscriber #42. I still remember sharing postie with the mostie with all my mates and it wasn't all that long ago.
Pea an Ham soup, crashing through snow walls. Chisel on the boom box. A bike that whistles to let everyone know you have arrived. You do really know how to have fun mate. Love your work, just bloody awesome.
What a most beautiful and wonderful place, friends, you are to be congratulated, Thanks for the images and the soundtrack. I loved getting to know the place. Surely you have gained a faithful friend to be able to enjoy your corner here. In my corner you will find itineraries of trips and campsites in Brazil. What we do with a lot of affection, if you like to travel for a short trip there in my corner and I will be very pleased to receive you.
As said to you before I am amazed with the creativity in your camps and cooking. I’m heading to the bush for the next three days and will put some of your creative thinking into order.
Ridoch, nice touch (also a nice touch, of a different nature- your "snow-block" departure!😁). You work hard for your enjoyment, and ours. Many thanks...
Gotta appreciate those virgin snow on coming shots. Well done to walk around to give us that " nobody else here" feeling. Best pea and ham dish I have seen. Dramatic drive thru those clever snow blocks was icing on the cake. Luved this even tho the vegetation has not yet recovered.
Stoked you appreciate what I’d tried to achieve mate 👍 the bush is recovering well now but those alpine area will take decades to properly recover Stoked you watched and enjoyed it 😀👍👍
Thanks again Chris for the effort you go to so we mere mortals can enjoy watching these outstanding productions. Can't say I will be joining you on your next snowy adventure. But I will certainly look forward to watching
I really enjoy all ur vids! U keep it fresh by switching from boat to canoe to motorbike to bicycle on ur own, with friends/ family. Always interesting with scenic views, plant & animal life. I've almost watched all ur vids & enjoy them all! Keep up the gd work, much appreciated in these pandemic/lockdown times where we really can't travel at all. Tysm🙏👍😊
Thanks heaps for tuning into them mate !! I just love making these videos and hearing when others enjoy them too is such a great feeling :) really appreciate the support !!
Haha there you go folks you witnessed the first igloo in Ausie land being built..great video brother...the black on white with the fire damage and the snow was wild. Good to see there is some green coming back though.
My God that was impressive. Ive watched every single video of yours and none of them gave me more respect for you than this one. And what a beautiful part of the world Adaminaby and Eucumbene is. That was hard core !! Bloody well done. You need your own TV series
thanks Torben :) I went on a forecast of snow down to 1100m, camped at 1300m and got nothing but rain haha would have looked great if id gotten that snow :) really appreciate you watching again !!
Enjoyed watching this from summer in USA where it is hot and dry! I appreciated all the work you put into this, but I gotta say, it didn't look like too much fun to me. I gather from reading through the comments that this site had been burned in recent brush fires. It looked pretty desolate. Glad to see some signs of regeneration. Glad to go along on your adventure vicariously. Ingenious idea with the snow block wind break.
Thanks heaps for tuning in again mate !! yep this area got burnt very badly and will take years to recover properly :( I had a great time on this trip but was hoping for snow fall not rain haha :)
Not sure what yourself or your subscribers think but I reckon it would be interesting to see you revisit these spots again over the years to see how the bush/environment recovers from the fires over time. I'm sure plenty of the overseas folks saw the fires and the aftermath so it might be interesting to document. Just a thought. Thanks for another great video mate.
man after my own heart, my trouble is i'm an old fart now and cant hold my breath, the spear fishing brings back fond memories plus the motor bikes and as does the rest of your program, am an avid fan, keep it up mate and well done. One day the commercial mob will pick you up, good luck and all the best.
thanks mate !! unfortunately we've been getting floods here so the ocean has been filthy and no diving of late :( hopefully it will come good soon, really appreciate you watching the videos mate !!
Good old pea and ham soup , here in the UK it's 33c amazing how our weathers table turns , normally i'm jealous but today you can keep it lol...Great vid bud.
So impressed Chris with your range of places to camp out. Seeing you smash through your ice blocks, the only evidence left of the snow the day before, was a laugh and satisfying.
Man, that place really burned. The shot of the two burned trees in the lake was totally surreal looking. Your love for your homeland really shows in your videos. It's a statement that nature helps us find our balance. That you can show beauty even in such a devastated area says much about you. There is just one mystery I can't figure out however....what kind of voodoo did you use to get that wet wood to burn! LOL
haha thanks mate !! no voodoo just split some dry kindling from inside standing dry tree :) really appreciate your nice comments mate, thanks heaps for watching !!
At some time, even in Aus, it can be f--ing cold. A great fire, half frozen red wine, and mannish boy in the back ground. Thats living. Nice one Chris.
Mate my feet we getting cold watching all that coldness around you.Your videos are so relaxing to watch especially without the music most Tubers find necessary to add in. Nice sounds how it's meant to be.Cheers Rob
Depressing to see such devastation of the fires. Bright spot, Eucalytus and pines returning. As always, great camera work despite challenging conditions. Pea Soup is a family favorite here. Interesting morning scene, high winds and snowmelt, but I am sure you didn't think the wind was warm. Crashing through the snow wall was a bit of fun! And finally, I couldn't make out the type of sandwich (burger?) you ate on your way home, but it looked delish. Hoping Australia rebounds quickly from those fires. Quite brave of you to venture into and film those areas.
When 100 percent of the local community are at home in front of the fire, you're out there doing this. Scott of the Antarctic move over!. Totally awesome. Keep up the great work Chris!!!
Haha thanks mate :) I had gone on a forecast of good snow falls but instead it rained none stop 🙄 was still a great trip though, and thanks heaps for checking it out !!
haha thanks mate :) I went of a forecast of a lot of snow fall, but got nothing except buckets of rain haha. Id love to see the real snow of Canada someday !! stoked you enjoyed :)

Excellent video, but tough to make mate! I appreciate the work trying to record coming down the trail without already having tracks in the snow. Missed a chance there to get a promotion with Bundy :-) and i know the feeling when that fish jumped the hook. Keep it up Chris!
Now thats one beautiful Australian made video by a true Aussie champion Chris .... your uploads are like fine wine brother they only get better with age once again thanks for the awesome content matey truly appreciate it 🙏 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Very impressive Chris !! There are no limits to your motivation !! How many guys would have camped with these weahter conditions ? On top of that he is going to camp with a bike....I am speechless ! Greetings from France !
Im freezing just watching this lol, awesome vid once again mate. One of my faves was Sydney Harbour, would love to see you do Hawkesbury River sometime
And who doesn’t love playing in mud and snow! Gotta say there’s nothing more annoying than packing up wet camping gear...oh wait, yes there is, it’s being locked down and not allowed more than 5km from home and a curfew between 8pm and 5am. Thanks to dictator Disaster Dan I’m stuck home. Enjoy your freedom mate and keep the vids rolling in, us Melbournians are living vicariously through your vids 👍🏻👍🏻🍺🍺🍺🍺🎣🎣🇦🇺
Another great adventure , never thought you can get snow like that in Oz. More like a bleak January in the Motherland, what a ' ripper ' ! The music is great ! Especially the tune when you've got the Green lentil stew on the go ? Anyone know the title ? I bet it was lovely getting back home to the family and the warmth ! Take care , stay safe
Show, Show, Show muita força de vontade pra trazer um conteúdo com tanta qualidade parabéns Chris 👏👏👏👏 pena o local ter sido atingido pelo incêndio, mas a natureza vai se recompor. Deus te abençoe grandemente.
