glue gunner worst tower in btd5 4-0 is the worst upgrade in the game as it’s a waste of 12.5k since 3-2 is always enough plus no camo and moab damage on all upgrades it’s stupidly overpriced everywhere
It's a great tower but ultimately it does need to be used in synergy. Eithout proper combos to deal with those stunned clusters (glue monkeys, ninja, and chippers come to mind) it's only so good
I'm almost a year late, but does anybody remember when the Ground Zero used to be able to one hit kill BFBs? This was right after BTD5 released, and it honestly might be the most overpowered tower in BTD history. It's up there with the BTD3 Blade Shooter, the BTD4 airplane (which never took any space on the map, allowing for infinite placement) and the BTD6 Alchemist's top path.
@@chainsawplayin I don't really consider Geraldo being able to 1TC on Scrapyard to be the most monumental of achievements. Sauda on her initial release was also able to 1TC without actually spending any other money on other towers, and all you're really doing with solo Geraldo is simply buying towers from an alternative store. Mind, he has some massive synergies with tons of towers that open up strategies like never before, but these other towers are easily more busted and easier to use.
@@thesaltgod I see you omitted 3 important pieces of info on purpose: 1. The map she could do the 1TC was Resort, released some time after her debut. 2. Sauda's 1TC could be considered mostly theoretical with how perfect the ability micro needed to be (it took a lot of "Retry last round" to do it) 3. Geraldo's sentries don't count as separate towers, just like an Engineer's sentries don't. This makes it a 1TC no matter what excuses you make. Also, Geraldo needs to micro only 2 rounds, and it's rather simple. And what is Sauda good for now, after the nerfs? Beginner maps and maybe rounds 26, 40, 76 and 78.
@@chainsawplayin I know that Geraldo's turrets and whatnot don't count as additional towers. What I mean is that you're still playing the same tower defense game, just buying your towers and tools from an alternative shop. And also, we're talking about all versions of a tower, so initial Sauda and initial Geraldo both are part of the discussion. I'd say that Sauda is more busted than Geraldo with how easy it is to use her, not that you could master her and do 1TC.
Things I disagree with a bit: *Maelstrom* is B tier in my opinion, as it is around 3k for a tower that can easily pop round 63, 76, and the first wave on 78. If camo detection is supplied, it can handle 78's second wave as well. I'm pretty sure it's the cheapest way in the game to pop that many bloons, although it'd be A if it was better on multi lane maps and was able to pop 78's second wave without support. I'd put *Supply Drop* sniper in C tier instead of B tier because it's less mobile friendly, and it's too expensive to efficiently farm at all points in the game. It's completely outclassed by bloon trap if a damaging income tower is what you're going for. *Bloon Impact* is A tier for me because it is a near necessity on maps such as double double cross, where bloons are able to easily sneak through due to the 4 directions, and towers need time to pop them. It's also good for any stalling based strategies with towers such as spike factory, and combos well with glue hose. *Absolute Zero* is S tier 100%, it has the ability to stall MOAB class bloons in a similar manner to flash bomb, except it's cheaper and easier to use in my opinion. Both towers used together will slow ZOMGs and BFBs to a crawl. *Bloon Liquifier* is more of a B tier for me, 10 layers a second is a bit over the top when bloon dissolver's 2 layers per second does the job fine, and it's just too expensive. It has my favorite tower art in the game though so actually A tier. *Glue Hose* is probably C tier for me because, while I don't use it often, it combos excellently with Bloon Impact and is good at leaving no ceramic unglued, and slowing bloons is essential on maps such as double double cross where it's very easy for a pink or a ceramic that popped out of a MOAB to sneak right by. I agree that Glue storm is probably F tier though. *Aircraft Carrier* has to be a D tier for me, Specter and Apache are just better global towers. Carriers also tend to lag the game a lot in higher quantities. I'd have to put *Apache* and *Specter* in S tier, they perform excellently in mastery mode and I always tend to use them together; Apache does single target damage while Spectre cleans up Ceramics/MOABs like it's nothing. *I'd say that *MIB* and *Energy Beacon* are A tier, they are too expensive to be practical unless you farm very well, but both are fun if used towards the end of an impoppable run. MIB is fun for combining with overclock to god boost towers, and I like using energy beacon for odyssey life farming. *Banana Research Facility* deserves its own tier for how broken it is, especially when utilized with a glitch where you sell it at the end of a round, buy a republic, and upgrade it immediately after the round starts. This makes 6k+ profit a round, and usually marks an easy victory to come. Essential tower in mid-game mastery, as the 60's to 70's on mastery mode are not a joke and need ample farming to be beaten. *Support Chinook* is A tier because it makes odyssey much more manageable, and is the single reason that tower stacking is possible. I love tower stacking in Co-op as a joke so this tower is one of my favorites. *Bloon Trap* is S tier. It is incredibly overpowered, and if you use its specialty building, you can beat impoppable on most advanced maps using ONLY bloon traps (although it takes a little micro, and placing them is super annoying with all of the turrets. In the 80's, enough bloon traps can make upwards of 40+k in a round, which is insane.
I agree with a lot of this but I think the apache dartship should've gone even higher as one of the best towers in the game, because outside of multi lane tracks it really doesn't have a single weakness. Having just one down already obliterates the mid game but when you can start spamming more of them in the late game literally nothing can get past.
I wanna advocate 2-4 engineer as a middle/low A tier. I think that overclock is such a huge ability in terms of end game round pushes, and engi also has a really good progression in terms of using it at the start and upgrading it. It easily clears most lower rounds, and also does really well in tandem with high-DPS towers in later rounds.
Fr it caught me off guard recently it definitely hard carried me impoppable difficulty in a hard map hard carried me from the ceramics although lacks camo detection just grab a village go 0.2 or 2.2 and your set but yeah I think probably Low S tier because of low Moab damage and no camo detection
I agree with you when you say glue strike is a terrible ability, but 2-3 glue gunner is actually pretty good at slowing down massive rushes like 63 and 76.
As someone mentioned already, a lot of very bad takes, i think because you rate only T4 and not over all or no combos, which is just not realistic in normal game. For example Ice is definitely top tier, everyone who play NAPS+FRILLS or Mastery knows 3/2 Ice + 2/3 Village is best combo in the game, it has infinite pierce and stop all non moab bloons, once you have it game is easy mode, most hard maps is just finding way to survive and get that combo. Also 2/3 ice can pop more bloons then 4/2 glue for like third of the cost, can even pop grouped moabs if they close by. Or dartling gunners being E tier when 2/1 Dartling is one of the best towers in the game, just spamming them you can even win impopable on all but harder maps. Or temple being S tier, when it's pure fun tower, for cost of max temple you can fill 50% map with bloon chippers and can handle 100s of ZOMGS, if you can afford a temple, you already won. Temple is just for fun or for going like round 200+ in Free Play, aka still just for fun, much better comparisons would have been between 3/2 and 2/3 super and maybe 2/4 since that one is also used a bit, not as much as T3 though. Also glue gunner is just objectively bad, he is strong yes but his price is not worth it at all, ring of fire or ice shards under arctic wind can pop all non moab bloons for like 20-30% of the cost or you can spend like 3-4k more and just get 3/2 super monkey or chopper or spectre, which also destory bloons in seconds but they have really good moab damage and can cover more then one lane if you are in harder maps.
@@bertnost1253you also shouldn't give maelstrom harsh treatment just because it cannot pop leads, it can be really good for sudden bloon rushes like in bmc and getting a bomb shooter isn't that hard

If I remember correctly the specialty building gives dartling gunners that same target option. Also, you really don't find that much use for it on most BTD6 maps since it no longer has infinite pierce and regen farming has almost no utility anyways
My opinion for your tier list is that I feel your focusing on lead and camo for some towers and that does nothing with 1 or 2 wizard monkeys can deal with a ton of camo and has the cheepest camo lead possible
My favorite tower is the boat. Amazing starting tower and works a bit in lategames. Watched 50% of the video! Will watch other 50% Tomorrow. Better than boltrix's tier list :>
The boat is definitely an awesome tower! Early and late game. I’ll soon be making a specialist building tier list, a little spoiler, the pirate cove will be high tier ;)
So my fav set in Bloons was to stack up the 4/2 Ice monkey with a bunch of 4/2 Bombs near the start, and a bunch of 4/2 Wizards with a few 4/2 Chippers and maybe a couple 2/4 chippers. Man, I played wrong.
For me personally, what makes a tower good is a whole list of factors, not just its raw popping power alone. Synergy with other towers is a big factor in what makes a tower good imo, and I prefer a passive defense to one where I have to use abilities a lot simply because when it matters most is likely when you're going to mess up. Anyway, I personally disagree with a few placements, but I'll just pick out the ones I especially disagree with. Spike Factories, Buccaneers, and Bloon Chippers, both paths for all three are low tier towers imo. Bloon liquefier and tempest tornado wizard are useless, and the main reason is because MOABs are a bigger concern than ceramics. That's all I'll say though, I agree with the majority of placements (maybe a little lower or higher) and this is all just based on individual playstyle and what you consider to be an important factor in a tower's utility.
Spectre does more damage than the temple in the most of the maps, but costs much much less And you giving it "A" instead of "S", when it can solo really far just for 18k
Glue storm is one of those towers which is F tier in BTD 5 and A/S tier in BTD 6 simply because of BTD 6 glue storm's debuff to all bloons. Even if BTD 5 glue storm can hit moabs like in BTD 6, it will still be F tier.
I'm surprised that the Apache Dartship is not an automatic S-tier tower here. The thing destroys virtually everything on its own. It basically gives me some breathing room for some improv and sandbox. Also, Bloon Impact has excellent synergy with either the Bloonjitsu or the Vital Frost. Far from being a garbage tower.
i might sound mentally insane but dart monkey 2-4 (super monkey fan club) is really good if you have max speciality because level three (or four i forgot) makes dart monkey darts explosive (the tower specific buffs are called specialities right?)
I had to remind myself that this was based on singular tower capabilities lol I was about to go off about how OP 4-2 bomb towers were in combination with Glue Monkeys and Ninjas
technological terror under rated. I got to round 118, quit cause boring. also what you have to spend to get sun god to the point where its good, makes it pointless because its so damn expensive.
My favorite tower is 2 4-2 helicopters and 4-2 ninja because: Helicopter can just shred moab-class blooms with ease and with monkey fan Clubs or bloonsjnsu to clean the small bloons and with overclock with M-I-B ability to the helicopter and it's just be a threat to the moabs
I think the 4.2 ace should be an b tier it's not that good against bfbs on rounds like 83 and 84 and the 0.4 ace in my opinion should be an S tier it's so good if there is a lot of moabs and your towers are out of range the 2.4 sniper should be a C because the ability cooldown is so long and microing is not always good because how much experience it is the banana farm is way better the 4.2 bomb is so powerful on rounds like 63 and 76 if you have another blloon pooping tower and yeah I agree with the other towers good jop
firee tack whould be b but A in big swarms cus in monkey coit 3 can take down chermic regians easly+towlhalle makes them anti camo and fast attck spped
just one robo monkey can carry you to round 60 and with 4 robo monkeys you can beat round 80. Just spamming robo monkey will make the game so much easier.
and for that reason i dont agree that terror is s tier, because it is much more worth it just spamming robo monkey, because the terror gets no more damage and even loses range of its projectiles, the only thing terror gets for pretty expensive is an ability. Just spam robo monkeys and you are so much better of with so much cheaper price than if you were to get terrors.
basically terror is a robo monkey with an ability. Just having 2 robo monkeys is much cheaper and does better because it is double the damage than a terror because of course all terror gets is an ability. me personally think terror is easily c or d tier.
this has so many errors. thers a complete disregard for stalling towers, towers that favor pierce and group damage over single target, even just bloon damage in general except for the energy beacon and bloon liquefier. other specific errors include cripple moab, which you did a very poor showcase of. you never staggered their shots at all, which defeats the purpose of having them. they excel if you manipulate attack speed and targeting, not if they shoot the same thing at the same time. you made a large point of mortar and dartling micro, but youre completely okay with heli micro. overclock is also without a doubt s tier, its not supposed to do damage, its a support tower. overall the list seems ver ysubjective, which at least you stated so, and it seems like you rate the towers way too much on versatility, which isnt always a bad thing, it definitely comes into play, but it is inconsistent. again: you put towers in lower tiers because of things like a lack of moab damage or bloon damage then suddenly bloon liquefier is s tier because he can shred ceramics even tho he cant hit moabs at all
The big one has to be the worst upgrade for any game i've ever seen. It costs 12.5 times more than the previous upgrade for the exact same effect (+1 damage). Why would you ever buy that when the other tier 4 is cheaper, AND has better damage (it does 1 damage but it attacks 3 times faster (meaning the same dps), since its faster it may get an extra hit or two when something is about to get past it), removes camo AND a stun ability. There is no circumstance where the biggest one would ever be used. Correction: Apparently it does 5 damage, not 3, despite what the description says. It also has a bit higher blast radius. Not as bad as i thought but still pretty bad and definetly worse than the other path.

Boomerang Monkey, i dont play much btd5 because i play btd6 more, Boomerang Monkey is a good early tower but it sucks when mid-game
Tbh my favorite tower is sniper monkey Bc I play BTD5 on Nintendo switch on multiplayer a lot so I just steal their money with it
Will you do btd6 tier list?
ik im late, but viral frost could be S tier because it de-camos bloons (well at least it does in battles)
Yeah that’s awesome! But as you said, it only works in battles, it can’t even detect camos in btd5.
Welcome to the channel!
oof, also i just subbed bc i forgot to lol
I just tried to sacrifice every tier 4 tower in the game and I did it (on sandbox mode obviously) and it is op
Wow... and here I am still thinking engineer, sub, and bloonschipper are new. Howcome bloonschipper never made it to BTD6?
My favorite tower is 2
4-2 helicopters and 4-2 ninja because:
Helicopter can just shred moab-class blooms with ease and with monkey fan Clubs or bloonsjnsu to clean the small bloons and with overclock with M-I-B ability to the helicopter and it's just be a threat to the moabs
I love the icon of bloon liquifier to the point where it’s my pfp
It seems you might’ve changed your mind
@@arthorization ye
Glue gunner are good for early game and for round with so many bloons.
When it come to lategame where it just moab spam
it's suck
Ice does better job
"Lead detection"
I think the 4.2 ace should be an b tier it's not that good against bfbs on rounds like 83 and 84 and the 0.4 ace in my opinion should be an S tier it's so good if there is a lot of moabs and your towers are out of range the 2.4 sniper should be a C because the ability cooldown is so long and microing is not always good because how much experience it is the banana farm is way better
the 4.2 bomb is so powerful on rounds like 63 and 76 if you have another blloon pooping tower and yeah I agree with the other towers good jop
Sniper is better on long rounds especially With energy beacon buff
OVERCLOCK IN C TEIR damn its no ultra boost but its still good
Mortar monkey is f tier
Bloon Trap is the way.
I was coming into this bout to roast the shit out of it but I agree with almost every placement on this list
What is the name of the background music ?? It’s on the tip of my tongue I can’t put my finger on it, where is it from ?
Wii plaza I believe. Something like that. The app on the Nintendo Wii where your Miis walk around.
@@chrisdaignault9845what about the music in 16:30
Thanks for the video man!
Always!
Like that smash button 💀
It’s called the support chinook
i find the glue gunner A tire with ice monkey as a combo so ice, glue for main ant poping power till moab class comes
firee tack whould be b but A in big swarms cus in monkey coit 3 can take down chermic regians easly+towlhalle makes them anti camo and fast attck spped
if i could spell
now the snipe i dont have all the upgrades in monkey city but its still s tire sadly its moad criple is like 10k
Ain’t no way that he put glave lord in d
9:18 🤨
Rip bloonchipper
the big one is just a glue hose glue gunner with mortars
Liking purely for the "like that smash button" at the end there 😂
If 3 tiers was ranked I would probably put robo monkey at s tier.
just one robo monkey can carry you to round 60 and with 4 robo monkeys you can beat round 80.
@@DemiCape consider how tech terror can pop camo bloons with the ability! Robo monkeys still need radar scanner to pop them
dub content. i subbed

All boats are s teir and you know it
I do! But sadly not all maps have water 😭 that’s the only reason why they’re not S tier for me
Like that smash button 39:59
Nice Video
half as cheap means it's twice as expensive
Thank you, I’m not a native english speaker. Everything helps!
My favorite tower is sniper even though i know its not the best
Your favorite tower doesnt need to be the best :)
snipers are awesome! They're even better in BTD Battles but oh well, you can't have everything lol
My favorite Dart monkey And spike
Super Monkey is best monkey in BTD6 (maybe not BTD5)
Change my mind
I don’t use him as often in btd6! But he’s all the way up there!
"great early game" but costs 10k lmfao
the best in btd5 is hellpilot it’s to op
i hate farms and other ways making money so the 4-2 engeneer is op
this has so many errors. thers a complete disregard for stalling towers, towers that favor pierce and group damage over single target, even just bloon damage in general except for the energy beacon and bloon liquefier. other specific errors include cripple moab, which you did a very poor showcase of. you never staggered their shots at all, which defeats the purpose of having them. they excel if you manipulate attack speed and targeting, not if they shoot the same thing at the same time. you made a large point of mortar and dartling micro, but youre completely okay with heli micro. overclock is also without a doubt s tier, its not supposed to do damage, its a support tower. overall the list seems ver ysubjective, which at least you stated so, and it seems like you rate the towers way too much on versatility, which isnt always a bad thing, it definitely comes into play, but it is inconsistent. again: you put towers in lower tiers because of things like a lack of moab damage or bloon damage then suddenly bloon liquefier is s tier because he can shred ceramics even tho he cant hit moabs at all
Btd6 has tier 5 upgrades and monke money and achivments and heros that have spetial stuff
Soon I’ll make a btd6 tier list!
fav moab assassin or bloonchipper
Which Bloonchipper
i like glue gunner very good starter
My Faveriot tower is the ninja
A feel as though there is a lot of bais in this tier list
Well, I literally said it was my own opinion
@@bertnost1253 and with opinion comes at least a little bias, cuz its not factual
engineer is busted with lvl 4 building with 2-3 spam
FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE NOTICED
Thank you 🙏
operation dart storm is 3rd tier i think ground zero is 4th tier
Super monkey fan club in f tier it’s still the price of 10 supermonkies just timed so not worth it
nice
How do you do a practice game
There’s a sandbox mode
my micro is good 👍
Bad opinions. Idk why you make lead popping tower such a big deal.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
🤯
wait clahs of clans is in spañis and a chine is beating u
dart
Bad tier list bc biggest one or big one and sungod is in f
I mentioned that I’d rank 2 sun gods! The max one and the vanilla one
