Without a doubt. The truly interesting thing is that this is just a very focused distillation of the catalog of the best of actual human creation from the past being used as a template. The 'A.I.' can't invent a new wheel but it can certainly spin the old one up in fresh if not absolutely creative ways...it's funny because it makes "modern audience" film-makers look all the worse for trying to re-invent the wheel while at the same time hating and failing to use what has come before. The machine without a brain has become better than the hacks with a heartbeat
@@charlottemarsh2202 that deponds on how the process would work. if you feed the entire script to the AI, instead of asking it to invent stuff itself, it could be pretty good. basically, every fanfiction writer would become a movie producer.
It reminds me of the way the covers of sci-if paperback novels and Yes album covers used to look. And really, it would fit right in with The Mandalorian TV show. But the vivid colors and sharp shadow contrasts do look a lot like ‘60s films, by Bunuel and people like that. This film would be a Spanish production, I think. With a much bigger budget.
On the subject of "Star Wars", we all know it's had its ups and downs over the years. But I believe it has potential if they made an R rated movie on Darth Vader. I honestly believe it would be highly successful
The whole star wars AI thing or "X movie done in Y style directed by Z director" is a dime a dozen in the AI art world. But this is actually good. Bravo.
There are places and style of cultures and lighting throughout the Star Wars galaxy like these, although not generally that wide spread. Cultural style and architecture change wildly across its time and space, but the general tone and theme is on point. The monochromatic color schemes are actual things in star systems where the parent star is beyond human visible light spectrum, and it takes some getting used to and adaptive regeneration to make your eyes differentiate between the spectral wavelengths in a meaningful way when visiting.
I liked the main film Star Wars trilogy for the diversity, far far away, from humanity. Characters like Jabba, Yoda, the Wookies, droids, and the ewoks showed a diversity of sizes. Hammerheads, while still bipedal, were also very un-human looking. That was my particular preference of Star Wars over Star Trek, where every alien looked just like some actor with a mask, prosthetics, or make-up on, all about the same uniform size, to fit the TV camera angle.
Up to around the 2:12 mark it was a bit dark and heavy, like Warhammer 40K mixed with Fritz Lang's Metropolis 💀. Then it got a bit lighter with the wookies and ewoks.
Lots of ornate headgear; fun to see, but I'm not sure that's tenable as part of a wear-it-every-day outfit. Unless most of your job is standing around. What does it do? What's it for? Still, this IS supposed to be from the '60s, when people not only wore more hats, but for humans, recognising others is a lot about the face and head. Fun, though it reminds me that there are books from that era with speculative art like this, and these would drop in almost unnoticed.
Too incredible, too real with everything and that it isn't, a little more and I'm desperately looking for this "film"... If I'm not asking too much, could you do something with "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic"?, 80's SitCon, Dark Fantasy, I leave it to your choice... And thank you for wowing me this day with your amazing talent, HOW DO YOU DO IT...!?
This is just awesome Arsen , I am absolutely fascinated by alot of the star wars Ai art work , is there a main website where most people put there star wars Ai pictures , I personally wish someone would make a large book filled with these images , I'd definitely buy it
looks like what i imagine letting bands like the beatles, rolling stones and led zepplin made lord of the rings staring them selves would have looked like. psychadelic rock opera.
AI is already making us obsolete. This is utterly amazing, but I feel pretty sad for artists. I'd say the trade is pretty much cooked. Not going to be the last; but hopefully it won't matter. On the bright side, at least something might actually make a decent Star Wars movie again.
It'd be great to get an Old Republic movie with this look and feel.
Some of this genuinely fits right into the Tales of the Jedi Comics from the 90s.
I smell an Oscar for costume design on this one.
I smell a fart
You know it is impossible, the guy won last year. They never give a person a Oscar twice in a row.
@@kevingonzalez3673 Skunk smells his own hole first.
Anything is better than Amazon
It's fantastic
Looks like a mash-up of Jodorowsky's Dune and Cozzi's Star Crash, with effects by Ray Harryhausen! I would watch the hell out of this.
I saw some Baron Munchausen in there too.
I'm getting a FLASH GORDON meets EXCALIBUR vibe.
This is actually really impressive. Especially the costume design, I can't get enough of this!
1:49 this one blew me away
So creative and beautiful, if only we had real movies like this
It has a "Krull-meets-Barbarella" vibe. I'd pay to see it!
Man, this AI stuff is scary and beyond amazing at the same time!
It feels like when CGI took off in the early 90s.
and then you see the hands and the guns
Set design, Art direction and Costumes all would be up for major awards were this a real production.
Meanwhile us watching half naked blue aliens in CGI...:/
Without a doubt.

This is brilliant thanks. It almost looks like a remake of Flash Gordon.
This looks absolutely amazing.
Flash Gordon vibes are real
Blown Away! Wow. The colors everything.🙌🏻
This will definitely give people great ideas on how to make a real awesome sci-fi movie. Thanks for sharing. 😎
Frankly someone should make this as a graphic novel. It's right out of Heavy Metal circa 1978
As much as I admire Mark Hammill, it was a brilliant idea to cast Peter Dinklage as Luke.
And a six-fingered Dinklage-Luke no less!!! lol
well Mark is about the same height, makes sense
That was intentional?

Once they release an updated version where we can have full actual movies. The world is going to change drastically.
AI CGI movies.
For the worse...

@@talgoren2246 And that's a GOOD thing?? I don't know about that...
I like how the Wookie/Ewoks keep a Cherubic human child as a pet.
The AI has Padme’s fashion taste in fabulous clothing
Getting some spaceballs vibes here :) 0:48

Plot twist: It's all recovered ancient footage of the time of Atlantis before its destruction.
Those Stormtroopers look like they could actually hit something for a change.
Looks like a mixture of 84 Dune, and Flash Gordon with Star Trek characters
Stormtroopers with a Spartan fin on their head looks fucking awesome.
Imagine if human beings ran Hollywood
Humans would be an upgrade from whatever lurks within the skinsuits roaming "Entertainment" today.

Queen Amidala’s outfits would fit right in here.
0:48 the AI found "Space Balls"
3:30 Yoda's seen some shit!
Considering how much stuff in the original Star Wars was inspired by Jodorowsky’s Dune designs, this feels on-brand
That guys concept art for his Dune movie is what came to mind watching this.
I had a 1984 Dune feel about this.
It looks like one of those movies with special effects by Ray Harryhausen.

To me this feels like what Flash Gordon would look like if Ralph McQuarrie were costume designer.
Fantastic!!! Bravo!!!
That's what Jodorowski's designers would have presented him, and he would have replied : [French-chilian accent] "NOo ! More BARRROQUE !"
Arte, sublime arte. Fiel ao estilo ao mesmo tempo original e criativo
Лучше,чем снято в оригинальном фильме и музыка красивая!

Way cooler than what Disney has done

heheh great, very good music too ;)
Extremely sophisticated costume and art design, even though I see plenty of surplus limbs on most of the characters....
This gives me Tsutomu Nihei Vibes.
Actually quite wonderful - and sufficiently wierd.
Would definitely watch that.
Whats the music?
Some of the clothing and hairpieces look similar to what was in the prequels.
Imagine if this was a film that came out in 1967 a full 10 years b4 Star Wars in 1977 😲
if Alejandro Jodorowsky directed Star Wars
As detailed as everything is, it feels like the story will be so complex it will lose people and appeal to a small group.
good!
I like it. Make it happen!
This is real art. 💯
I see it competing with Jane Fonda’s Barbarella for best costume design in ‘68’s Oscars. And the winner goes to …
Could be a good look for the Old Republic
and this look way more beautiful than the star wars we have
Feels a lot like French artist, Philippe Druillet
My fav scenes , Jabba the huut beautifuL sLave .
Damn, i would definitely watch this show/movie.
What was the source for the 60s surrealism style? Love this so much!!!!!
I'd be a much bigger fan of this version.
It's even more like Dune now
0:44 The Stormtroopers look like Las Vegas showgirls or something. Still looks pretty cool though. :)

Luke „He-Man“ Skywalker
Star Wars meets Jordorovsky's Dune
This is so much better than Star Wars could ever hope to be

I want Dune Wars NIAOW
Star Wars by Jodorowsky
Yes, or Philippe Druillet

It looks like a mix between Morrowind and Star Wars.
The Dunmer version of it ... Weird, Fantastical and intresting world (Surreal and Kafkasque).
Felt some TES Morrowind vibes here.
What’s the soundtrack, btw, liked it very much!
This is more like a Star Wars + Dune hybrid!

Would have rocked.if the prequels had this aesthetic. Take it.back from the 70s aesthetic and actually make the prequels somewhat retro
