Yeah, this is where Gunn should head... scale back the stories, make them more personal. Batman vs the Mob is more than enough story-playground to delve into. Great noir shots.
I think the Reeves story is already doing that as much as WB will allow. Gunn will probably try to make his Batman a less "gritty realistic" and a more comic book. And maybe even something that kids could enjoy too. Which would be a nice change. It's getting weird that Batman is no longer a character for younger audiences, like, at all.
@@damiantirado9616 Yes and no. Matt Reeves scaled everything back, but you really couldn't have scaled it up any further from the Justice League, and Darkseid, the most powerful being in the universe. There was nowhere else to go. But this is talking specifically about doing a Batman story set in 1939 when the character was originally created. That's never been done. I think a black and white, period Batman film where the colorful rogues' gallery are all just eccentric crooks and mobsters would be amazing. No armies of terrorists, no alien invasions, no futuristic gadgets and Star Wars tech, just plain old crime drama with an extra theatrical flair. Though I can't imagine the industry would ever do it. It's too niche.
@@damiantirado9616 But yeah, you're right. Fans always think we know what we want, and usually, it's just something we've already seen. What we actually want is something we can't imagine. But that's not a very interesting conversation. "I really hope the next Batman film is something I could never anticipate." See? It's true, but it doesn't spark a particularly interesting debate.

Oh how I would love to see this made into a movie! One of the things I love about the Tim Burton Batman movies is how the buildings had that gothic look, because, you know, it's Gotham City. My two dream movies are for a dark, film noir Batman that takes place in the 1940s in a very gothic looking Gotham City, and a Superman movie that takes place in the 1930s in a gleaming art deco looking Metropolis. How cool would that be?
Another fantastic piece of a imagined contra-factual Batman from the fifties. The aesthetic is brilliant, the characters just what they should be (reminiscent of Neal Adams' Batman) . Thanks for posting. This is truly a work of art.
I mean, it's not the most practical design, with the open cabin and all. But as the pure, 1940 concept of a brutally powerful, scary luxury car that can clearly go fast and take a beating, you couldn't do much better.
Film noir tends to be harsh lights and deep shadows. It's all about contrasts. You look at, say, The Third Man, which had some of the best noir cinematography out there, and you're seeing Orson Wells stepping out of shadow into a hot light. All the better to get those big, expressive performances. Fun fact: Orson Wells used to do radioplays for The Shadow, and he wanted to make a Batman movie back in the 40s, starring himself as Batman. Not sure it'd have worked.
I didn't know that Ai had such a well developed aethetic for light and shadow and masculine beauty. Seriously, your Superman and Batman are ridiculously handsome. You are a very talented man. I need to see what you come up with, next. I'm subscribing.
@@syntheticsanctuary I would love to see something like this done especially in 90s style and it could be an ideal version of Batman as a Caped Crusading Thriller Superhero Movie and TV Show and I hope to make something just like this
1940s. I think the Batmobile kinda nails it, but the suit, I have to agree. It's not quite it. But that's the thing about AI. It's not really thinking. It's just kinda pulling stuff out of its ass and going, "How about this? How about this?"
This is Absolutely magnificent. Beautiful work 👌🔥 I would like to know how you ask to Midjoirney to have this beautiful rendering and quality. Just « Batman in 1950 style » or something specific?
@@syntheticsanctuary This could definitely inspire something like the 90s Batman and I hope to use this as inspiration for Superhero Movies and make Batman more than just a superhero movie but also a Caped Crusading Thriller
If you mean 'stare' down then yeah action shots are one of Midjourney's weaknesses currently. Hopefully they'll be improvements in future updates. Thanks for the comment.
Imagine this tech in ten years. Fanfilms of the future will be insane.

Ironic that Joker was once part of the Mob.

That’s literally what Matt reeves the Batman did. I swear you fanboys want the same thing all over again.

I would pay to see a Batman movie in this style. Amazing work!!!
That's what I call the real Batman..
Brilliant work... Beautiful noir pictures , seems real 4o's and 5o's..
👏🏼👏🏽🎩
You know I always felt that Batman and Penguin should be like Eliot Ness and Al Capone from the Untouchables
Actually working on a story based on that concept

I'd be 100% down with a black & white Batman film.
Me too ✋️!!!
I wish this could be realised as a film ❤
give it time
Get 'em, Bats. Open a big can of JUSTICE on 'em!
That was really cool! I came here right after your Superman one. I love it!
Me too
This is insane. Beyond words good. Well done.
Amazing job!
Your work is incredible, impressive and perfect!
This needs to be a real movie!! It looks and feels incredible.

Thank you, that's very kind. I'm glad you enjoyed the videos!
Jaw dropping I love it 👏
Looks great. Bruce Wayne looks like Henry Cavill to me.
Cross between Cavill and Sebastian Stan.
BTW, I have a sneaking suspicion that Cavill is being eyed for the role. I think a lot of people saw him in The Witcher and thought the same thing.
@@rottensquid that would be wild.
@@TheTricoman Kinda stunt casting, and I could think of better people in the role. But I could think of far worse people too. We'll see.
This is incredible it really is - Well done!👍👍
Nicely done.
I really like this!!! Love the black and white old style 👌 this BEATS the Hollywood Batman movies 🎬
Could you do a World's Finest 50's film? You've got the two main ingredients down pat in you previous videos.
Wow the batmobile actually looks like the batmobile!!! The way its supposed to look.

Stunning . Love the little details on Batmans cape !
Looks good.
the batmobile is a repurposed chitty chitty bang bang vehicle
Just subscribed , looking forward to more of your work !.
Thank you and welcome!
0:10 Bruce look like if ben affleck and henry Cavill have a baby
Can AI create this as a film of 2 hrs??
If yes I will really love it. 😍😍
I have no doubt that this will happen in the near future.
@@syntheticsanctuary yeah I believe in so.
Very nicely done!
Nice design & concept. I do suggest not having each scene so brightly lit - film noire usually has a lot of literal darkness & figures seen in shadow.
Thanks for the feedback friend.

Like the B&W Superman I just seen
this B&W Batman has the look of the comic-book of the 1940s and is much better then the Robert Paterson Movie.
Slick! If only you could animate these images.
It's coming in the next few years. The technology is very close.

1:24 reminds me of David Harbour in the background
How did he sneak in there 🤔
None of the aesthetics were 40’s outside of the batmobile.
Next should be ai concept of Ben Affleck's canceled movie with Deathstroke
@0:10 Bruce Wayne looks like Henry Cavill 🧐🧐🧐🧐
Hmmm...Bruce Cavil, Henry Wayne?
amazing work, what about wonder woman
I really should complete the trinity.
Simply Awesome..Cool! Congratulations...greetings from Brasil!!! Uau!!!
Loved!
very cool, though notice the teeth of some of the crowd, really grotesque. I wonder why the AI does that.
Yeah there definitely can be some strange uncanny valley effects going on sometimes, I kinda like that though.
batman and joker's design are too modern for 50's
Deberían ponerle color está espectacular 😍😍
love it!.
Much better than The Batman by matt reeves.
Now Wonder Woman in a 50's war film, please.
I've been experimenting with Wonder Woman but haven't got enough images I'm happy with yet. It's still on the list though.
@@syntheticsanctuary Keep going on. I know you'll get something incredible.
The Batsuit and the Batmobile designs aren't proper for the 1950s. I still like this.

I'm wondering why they chose '50s, when noir's heyday was the late 40s. I guess someone else already did a '40s treatment.
You've really got something here!!
people who make this stuff always think the 50's were the 40's.
joker looks like rami malek

The old Batman comics were pretty much a drawn version of film noir.
Ok what can you 🤔 do for judge dredd? Lol.
Judge Dredd is an interesting idea.
@Synthetic Sanctuary dredd vs batman? Lol alien? Terminator ? Predator? I think 🤔 the black white really sells it 🤔
Is that a bat 🦇 on is chest? Doesn't look like a bat.🦇

Bad Guy: What are you?
Batman: I'm Batman!
Wow.
The joker looks great, especially the receding hair
great ideas. you have hollywood dwarfed here.
These are great. It would be nice if midjourney could do hands
Haha absolutely agree. I'm sure they're working on it.
Even much better then the movie..this is Batman I knew since my childhood
Phenomenal just outstanding. Truly, you should be a creative force in hollywood not the iniquitous nudniks there now.
