Thanks to the person who sneaked their camcorder past security and taped this awesome show
there was a guy in late 80s early 90s that recorded concerts and sold the videos , he advertised in magazines like kerrang if i remember or was it guitar player, my mate bought a van halen video from him , the quality was , well lets put it this way amateur, but in todays terms fucking shit

I saw this show in New York's Madison Square Garden. WHITE SNAKE was the OPENING ACT FOR MOTLEY CRUE (Girls, Girls, Girls Tour). BOTH BANDS KICKED ASS!!!! David Coverdale is ONE OF THE BEST VOCALIST IN ROCK!!!

I was there too, loved it.. I was only 16 & it was my first proper gig I went to.. my brother (17) & I went down on the train from Bedford to London. I wore my new snow-washed denim matching jacket n jeans 👍🏼🤣
Note to self… If I ever have a time machine or have the ability to go back to 1987 one thing to do. Go to Whitesnake concert with a date and how I will get there is in a brand new 1987 Buick grand national.

I was there....1987 20 years old !
Saw them in Philadelphia during this tour. They shot a video before the concert which was cool. They would light up a section and tell you to go nuts and to sing along.
When the video came out ma and my friend video-taped it from Headbangers Ball and went through it frame by frame to see if we could find ourselves. It was just a sea of leather and long hair but we knew we were there!
I was in lust with John Sykes, but when he quit/got fired and Adrian came in, he looked like John's brother from another mother.
Both had the square chins and awesome hair...LOL. So we had to get our tickets on the right side cos that's where he stayed most the time. Oh my, the things he did with that guitar (watch Still of the Night video) I had my binoculars affixed to his pelvis most of the concert!
What a fun time.

Awesome. My first gig was seeing Whitesnake a few days after this one at the Birmingham NEC. The McAuley Schenker Group supported them on this tour too. I loved the fact that it was loud too.

Saw a band called Whitesnake while in college in 1978 or 79 at a band bar in midtown Atlanta. Didn’t pay much attention (into southern rock then) but do remember they being a hot band but it doesn’t match up to THE Whitesnake from UK but maybe when they were starting out. Somebody help me out?

Comparing to classic Whitesnake this is just... you know we should be respectful)) but it's just like the earth and the moon. They ruined wonderful rock ballad. Hair metal is so funny. But music had no real feeling. Funny cos this version of WS was so successful in states.
