Me either. Not only did the GM fail those two precious babies, but the mother did too. And, over a stupid hair appointment that she had forgotten about anyway and could have rescheduled. When the mother took the stand, I just kept thinking to myself, so your hair appointment was more important to you than your precious baby girl that you would call GM who allowed your 16 month old baby boy to wander off and drown in a pond while she napped, only a year before this incident, just so you could keep your hair appointment. You mean to tell me that you couln't go another week or two to reschedule your flipping hair appointment, and why did she not pick her precious baby girl up from GM right after her supposed 75 minute hair appointment. Why? Because the Mom just wanted some "me" time as she said on the stand. This just boggles my mind.

For the 911 call, there are a lot of people who do not do well with emergencies like this, they shut down and can’t process properly. Plus with this having now happened a second time with blatant negligence. Her son was there too, I’d imagine she’s trying not to scream and cry at her mother. If you notice though, she is able to collect herself and her thoughts after a couple of minutes. Sometimes you need to give your mind a chance to process what you’re seeing. Traumatic events affect everyone differently.

These are some very loyal daughters to just keep taking their kids to her , thats some loyalty right there, this egole thing just strikes me as weird as hell
I think that this 'mother/grandmother' was a convenient baby sitter for her daughters. Having said that, the grandmother has a history of a child DIEING in her care. I don't care if it's a family member, I would NEVER leave my child in that person's care.
I think the Grandma left the baby in her car to sleep. I’m sure the 7 month old fell asleep on the way home after being played with at Beef O’Brady’s. She closed the door thinking it would stay cool for awhile. She knew the baby would not be able to nap in the house b/c of the constant hammering noise from the roofers. But she forgot about the baby being left in the car to sleep.
I can’t believe her daughter would allow her mother to watch her granddaughter after she fell asleep letting her grandson drown in a pond and now she left the granddaughter in a hot car for hours resting in her death the grandmother is mentally unstable or has dementia or alzheimers or something she should never have been allowed to watch another child again but she was allowed and killed another child I think she should be charged with 2 murders not one 😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🫣🫣

That was an odd 911 call.
1000%
I think that call was delayed because it seems she is not being authentic.
@@libertyna933she was stalling for time and covering for what her mom did while trying to get out of there at the same time so she didn’t have to answer questions. Helping the baby was not a priority for her but covering for her mom was.
She’s smiling in her mug shot.
I know nothing about this case - this is the first I’ve ever heard or seen of it but that mugshot- seems to me that she might have taken pleasure in killing her daughters child.
@@HelloMars333 that’s a tell tale sign for sure
Yeah, I also thought that was weird.. she should’ve been crying and looking sad. Makes me wonder if she got sick of watching her grand babies and just didn’t care anymore.. Mom could’ve brought Uriel to the hair salon with her, I see this all the time. Too late now..
I can’t imagine what the jury will think/feel once they know that a previous grand baby died under her care.
How could the mother leave her second baby knowing the grandmother was at the very least negligent in the first child's death?
The mother is equally to blame.
Exactly why the mother of that poor baby should be charged with some kind of neglect.
Some kind of odd, evil sacrifice?
The mother’s an idiot.. no reason why she couldn’t have taken her precious "rainbow baby" to the salon with her. I see babies and toddlers just about every time I get a hair cut and nobody cares.
@@dianedeclaire6259yes she keeps on having more babies.. 🤦🏻♀️
4:07 I’m glad they made her spit out her gum.. why did she think that was OK? 😒
2 babies deceased ?! What a babysitter
The only one you will ever need...
What a GRANDMOTHER 😐😐😐😐
WTH? Weird 911 call. Where was the grandma during the call?
How, after all these babies have died this way, has there not been an alarm fitted that goes off if a baby is left alone in a car? One that has to be manually put off after a minute or two once no one is in the front of the car? It should be mandated at this point along with car seats.
@LillyJacob-l6r My mom’s pickup has an alarm that goes off when you park if there is anything on the backseat, so they certainly have the technology to do something.
Why is she chew while testifying? This shouldn’t be allowed.
*chewing*
Finally! at 4 and a half minutes they told her to throw out her gum, Wow!
4:07
@ WHATEVER!
2 child deaths under her watch! She needs jailed
A more indepth psych evaluation at least
The dispatcher obviously knows the family because she asked, "Is this Kaila's youngest one?". This just has such a ripple effect...
How come no one forgets to remove themselves out of a hot car? But they forget a child? Of their memory is so bad , they would be sitting in the car forgetting they are in a hot car.
Why would a mom make her family relive that day instead of taking responsibility?
The process is called obeying the laws which you may be unaware of such concepts
Couldn't she have just pleaded guilty to everything & spared them the trial?
These ppl are all so weird
If there is any evidence of dementia or diminished capacity, surely the defense would produce that evidence or expert testimony.
No
U would think! Partically parents fault
@@Gabriel-hf1yy No??
What they are saying is it’s pretty damning Grandma hasn’t tried to use that excuse. Bc we all know if the defense had any evidence whatsoever of diminished capacity/dementia to place the blame on, they would have been screaming it from the rooftops to the media, to the courts, and to anyone else who would listen - long before now.
@@RaenbowBlight she's been going to mental institute for 40 days they couldn't have found anything wrong yes they would have used it for sure.
@@Gabriel-hf1yy my dad's dimentia started vaguely 4 yrs ago . Small things like forgetting once and a while and being tired. Otherwise he was functioning. We thought it was just old age but no. Dimentia can begin even up to 10 years early. Very vague symptoms that can't be shown on tests.
Sister's reaction is wierd ??.why didnt she help her parent's. She wanted to leave. ?? Id never do that in an emergency.
Unless you have dementia there’s no way you can forget a baby is in the car omg
I think the sister is in full on flight-mode during this 911 call.
Yup. Coward .
what the heck kind of 911 call is that???
So odd
Stalling for time and trying to hide what her mom did while trying to leave at the same time so she didn’t have to answer questions or help the baby. She was her number one priority then her mom. The baby wasn’t a priority at all. She treated her like a dead animal.
SO BIZARRE! She seemed more and more put upon the longer it went on….
@@letstalkaboutgermany8288 Even if she was worried about her son being traumatized by the whole thing, she could have simply given her dad her phone and let him talk to the dispatcher. He could've put the phone on speaker and still helped the baby. Then she could have left with her son if she needed to take him somewhere.
@@jenniferhansen3622 He was doing CPR!!! How could he talk on the phone?!
Just horrible. The whole family affected by neglectful grandma's "mistake".
She called 911, but couldn’t bring herself to do anything to help? Commenting about her son being with her? These people are horrible.
💯💯
After losing their first child, I can't imagine risking their second baby's life by allowing the same woman to care for her. And that woman was her mother.
What's the chances and statistics of two children passing whilst under the care of one person within a year??????
Whats wrong with this Aunt? Shes not answering questions, doesn't know how old she was and insisted on leaving the scene. There's something extremely wrong with this entire family!!! Im sorry first off as a mom, grandma or sister there's no WAY IN HELL i could EVER FORGET my grandchild in a car!!! Second there's no way as an aunt that i could leave my niece dying like that!! There's something going on with this family big time!! 2 children dead with this grandma and the aunt was just off the chain worrying about her and her own needs. Sorry this is fishy at best, their all MESSED UP!!!
She’s in shock! It’s obvious!
@FMT2003 shock or not I'm never gonna try and hang up with 911 to hurry and leave!!! She's off, the grandma's off and this so called family failed that little girl all the way around!!! The aunt was extremely selfish and the grandmother is insane!!!
2 babies😢😢😢
No grandpa was in charge
There is something wrong with this family, the mom continued to trust the mom and the sister is chewing gum
The Sister should have helped with 911 on the line with possible life saving directions! Instead she was too busy hiding. This is so sad.
She could of simply sent her son in the house and told him not to come out if she really didnt want him traumatized but i think at 12 he would of already had a fair idea from what he'd already seen💔 tragic all round
So true!! She's using him as an excuse to leave. She's trash.
Grandpa was no where to be found trying to help the baby
These girls care more about their hair Flippin and make up than the kids
Grandma must have some form of dementia surely 😮😭
somethings up for sure
2 Grandchildren die in her care in 11 months. The first time she fell asleep & the toddler wandered outside & drowned. The 2nd time she comes back from lunch with friends & 'forgets' the baby is in the car. Day drinking? Or dementia? Why did the parents trust her a 2nd time?
And surely grandma would have been tested for that before trial, so apparently she does not suffer from any cognitive abilities... or lack thereof.
@@sarahholland2600 And she fell asleep after taking an Ambien the first time. Wonder if the second time she was day drinking -- would like to know what her friends she was at the lunch outing with told detectives -- and also mixing with prescription drugs.
@loveforeignaccents its just way too weird
Why would you let your mother care for a baby when a previous baby has died in her care? 😳🧐😢 That is the real question
Seems like grandma's house was a drop-in center 🙄.
So, what’s the deal with this grandma? Does she have dementia or what’s going on?
What also annoys me is that she does not seem to be sorry for killing two grandchildren?! I am sure she is on some level, but her demeanor has been strange from the get go
There is a thing that’s called forgotten child syndrome , unfortunately amongst parents and caretakers. But this 911 call is the strangest call I’ve ever heard. What the hell is wrong with this aunt? “Oh my goodness gracious”. “I have to go and take my son home”. is she kidding me?
I feel like you can hear in her tone that she's thinking how is this happening again and running for the hills. But how terrible that she just abandoned the baby girl. It doesn't matter if she was still alive or not. It's all about trying until ems get there.
🫣😱😱 such fake tears. And what’s with the chewing gum. There is something wrong with this whole family besides the obvious. This girl is more worried about her hair and her eyelashes🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
So many ways to prevent tragedies like this. No excuse
She should get convicted for the fact that this is the second grandchild who has died on her watch! 😡
Jury will not know of first child.
Why do so many Americans chew gum while testifying? WTF.
Its actually very uncommon.. if the judge has noticed she'd be told to remove the gum!! It's highly disrespectful and against court etiquette
@@pla5730 Someone noticed the bailiff made her spit it out
@@caitbsrvvr Yes. I noticed that towards the end of video 😬😉.. it is rather irritating tho... To me, it's rude and classless. Like attending a funeral with your phone on high volume!!😭
@@pla5730 oh I totally agree, very rude!
This is the first time I've seen it ever
She killed 2 grandkids.
I don’t think I would of trusted my mother to babysit after one my children had died in her care. I would have had a family meeting to discussed if we should take her to a neurologist to get tested for dementia. Now two babies are dead-
She seems the most normal in the family i believe.
The sister made it very difficult for the 911 lady, imo. I know she was very upset but she needed to focus and tell her what is happening. So frustrating listening to her.
Traumatic events affect everyone differently.
i just don't understand how someone can be this forgetful to leave a baby in a car. It's insane to me. Getting my son out the car was always the first thing that came to my mind
How do you forget a child? I will never understand this! 😮 She should never have been in charge of the child.😮
Just tragic on all parties.
You would think that this Grandmother would have been SUPER aware and would have remembered Uriel in the backseat, after having allowed another grandchild in her care to die while she was asleep a year prior???!! This Grandmother seems massively Narcissistic. And she was acquitted of manslaughter; but found guilty of leaving the baby in the car. If the jury could have known that this was the Second grandchild within a year that she allowed to die, I think she would have been found guilty? If any of her kids leaves their children in her care, and something happens to them; they should all go to prison. This lady is Nuts!
Why in the world did the parents trust her to watch their baby after their son died in her care?? I can’t wrap my mind around it. Its crazy
The daughter is strange too me... the second daughter has more emotions. Its strange to me, almost like the mother knowingly aware of her mom neglecting her fitst grandchild. Yet, drops this baby off with the mother who neglected the first child?! Insurance payoff. Im just saying something doesn't look right with the actual mom..
Wait…this is the second grandchild’s death she’s responsible for?? Are you kidding me?
Idk why the first death is kept out of court! because of this jurors might sympathize w her
Not one of those family members looked like they gave a sh!t why they’re were there. They’re all off
These people are all certifiable ..
Her mugshot infuriates me. So smug looking
Something dose not seems kosher about this case.
is she chewing gum?
These are some very loyal daughters to just keep taking their kids to her , thats some loyalty right there, this egole thing just strikes me as weird as hell
Why is that lady in the front holding something over her mouth?
I was wondering if she is dictating for the court record.
I want to hear about her entire babysitting history for her grandkids. that would be very telling. How was she with the other daughters kids.
I think that this 'mother/grandmother' was a convenient baby sitter for her daughters. Having said that, the grandmother has a history of a child DIEING in her care. I don't care if it's a family member, I would NEVER leave my child in that person's care.
It is crazy to me that she let her mom watch another one of her babies after the first baby dying!
She is more emotional than the babies mom
She's more upset then the child's mother
Why did the mom say the police came at 2:30 to say the baby was dead?
These parents need charges brought against them
I think the Grandma left the baby in her car to sleep.
That was the most unfeeling call ever shame poor baby shame on all these people ,what a bizarre family
What's the timing for 911 why didn't grandma report it
I can’t believe her daughter would allow her mother to watch her granddaughter after she fell asleep letting her grandson drown in a pond and now she left the granddaughter in a hot car for hours resting in her death the grandmother is mentally unstable or has dementia or alzheimers or something she should never have been allowed to watch another child again but she was allowed and killed another child I think she should be charged with 2 murders not one 😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🫣🫣
She was on meds at the time, and grandad was in charge.
What happened to the first baby? I just saw this for the first time.
So sad 😭😭😭😭
Was she under the influence of something?
Has she not been diagnosed with a form of dementia or early signs of alz? Why would you let her look after young children after the first incident...
