Back in 1975, Nazareth was my first ever official concert (I worked in a club with live bands for a year before this) from back when I was 13 years old. Every song from them at this time brings back wonderful memories and the beginnings of my exploration into a wide variety of music since then. I'm happy you felt this one, Sarah. Nazareth was a cool, very edgy, band and well worth exploring other songs from them. ♥
Thank you so much for reacting to this Sarah! I never thought I'd see it. Definitely a hidden gem and a sonic treat. One of my favorite songs off of a banger of an album.
@@thomaskelley1718 I was born in '81. This is an album my dad listened often while driving down the road as a chemical man in the oil field, this was in the mid eighties. I was 4 or 5 the first time I really remember hearing the entire album and knowing it was all one band. Been stuck on this album since then. I listen to it once or twice a year at minimum.
Love Nazareth, love this song, and the album it came from is really amazing.. a classic of its time. Most people would remember the big hits on this album: “Love Hurts” (their stellar Roy Orbison cover), and “Hair of The Dog”. I always loved “Miss Misery” and “Beggars Day” though I couldn’t guarantee you would be inclined to like that kind of aggressive stuff, but who knows? Along the lines of this theme warning against betrayal would mix well with a song by Bad Company called “Don’t Let Me Down”, not to be confused with The Beatles (which is also a great song by them worth checking out if you haven’t already).
This whole album is fantastic..we wore this album out in high school...'77 to '81 southwest Indiana...great memories partying with friends, cruising, looking for ladies...this was ALWAYS in the rotation! Saw them in 1980 with Blackfoot in Evansville, IN!
Such an emotional song - these guys were true pioneers and inspired so many rock and metal bands. They do an insane cover of Bob Dylan's "Ballad of Hollis Brown" that is a true gem
Nazareth is one of my favorite rock band of all time, so many great songs. Suggestion songs from two great albums recorded by Nazareth "Loud N Proud" and "Razamanaz". Thanks Sarah! 👍
Great reaction Sarah to a great band. Maybe delve into them some more. I listened to them when i was young and really enjoyed there music. Most of there music is not this slow or quiet. Take care always😊😊
Manny Charlton on guitar. One of the greats . Please check out the song "WOKE UP THIS MORNING ". Seriously funny Serious lyrics. Thanks Sarah, have'nt heard this in a long time. Stay safe. ❤️👍😁
A band that has sold no less than 20 million albums worldwide and has the most influential vocalist in the history of the hard/metal genre, just look at the statements made by Axl Rose and Brian Johnson (AC/DC). NAZ forever!
You are a cool young lady! ✌️❤ I ran this record over and over again in my bedroom in 1980. And don't be misled. Nazareth was not a hugely popular band. Loved only by extreme rock lovers.✌️
An under appreciated band in my book. Always loved this song. Love your channel.

The whole "Hair of the dog" album is great. I still listen to it occasionally. It has easily stood the test of time.

Best song on the album !
It takes you on a journey
A masterpiece. Rises to the level of Pink Floyd greatest conceptual genius. The works of art we were treated to in the 60’s/70’s

Agreed! If you know, you know!
Top band 👌
Мне 61 когда было 16 я слушал эти хиты еще было вино и шала
Skala?

❤❤❤❤
grr. more Nazareth.
Nazareth? I don't know. I think Sarah should react to Friends of Distinction ~ Grazing in the Grass. On Ed Sullivan preferably. She'd enjoy that.
If it makes you feel good, you listen. Opinions of arrogant fools don't matter.
@@robertschwartz9158 I'm really not so self absorbed. I watch the person on the screen and try to figure out what they like.
