I'm very glad that Ash learned more about Guzma's backstory and realizes what he was going through, but also the fact Guzma finally has a change of heart in the end by thanking Ash for breaking him free from his sorrow and reconciles with Professor Kukui (thus apologizing for his past actions). Ash's full battle in the finals with his main rival Gladion was also very good with Ash finally having his first league victory (which broke the internet worldwide before becoming the world champion three years later) after the iconic Lycanroc showdown. Now all is left is the Exhibition match with "The Masked Royal" (a.k.a. Professor Kukui).
The voice acting, callbacks, newly improved editing and writing is nothing short of fantastic. Thank you very much Zanolith & everyone involved.

It's nice to see the progress of Ash League run in your rewrite to be more more consistent compared to the actual Anime.
The end was a nice twist to the original and I'm glad the last match was a 6v6 of all the team to show its worth.
Guzma actually having a moment with Kukui was indeed a nice touch, definitely something that was missing.
*REVIEW TIME* This episode gave me so many Pokémon Origin vibes.
It was great to see how Guzma redeemed himself, like Giovanni did in the Origins series. I enjoyed his further backstory exploration. It was great to see the thematic part of this episode tie up with Ash being able to teach his elder (Guzma) a lesson about pulling yourself out of a rut and giving it your all.
The buildup to the fight with Gladion was also a mini treat. Not only did you play the Kalos Victory road theme as you made Ash reflect on his previous championships (which was clever because Kalos was the final league he lost) but Gladion’s interaction with Ash not only showed how our favorite protagonist can redeem anyone and can bring them happiness but also how Gladion has changed as a person thanks to Ash. Both battles were also decent and were thematic with Ash’s pikachu being used to redeem somebody he knows can do better and a rematch between the two lycanrocs
Overall this episode was great, arguably better than the last episode. Two more reviews!

Guzma, this boy lost in more leagues than you can imagine. Although, to be fair, no one would have won against Tobias in his place. I couldn’t help but enjoy seeing Guzma and Kukui reunite as friends.

Zanolith Hop never travel with ash but a RUclipsr who reproduce Pokemon Sprite did favorite travel companion hop won with over 20,000 votes also why not write your own end to ash journey why does it have to be Pokemon journeys
A lot of people want me to do a swsh rewrite but I will be doing a journeys rewrite because I feel that is the way I went to end the story.

Absolutely Awesome Battles especially considering that I'm glad that My earlier suggestion Of having The Alola League AKA The Manalo Conference Tournament Finals be a Full Battle this time around with Pokemon from both His Sun And Moon/Ultra Sun And Moon Teams and boy was that Battle was amazing from start to finish and Ash Vs Guzma before was equally amazing and impactful I loved how It was upgraded to a 3v3 In your Version.
Well Done Zanolith albeit a few things like No Lillie and Lusamine Battling In The Manalo Conference Tournament Arc, No Ash Vs Plumeria Battle Even In The Alola League which makes me feel like she got shoved the side for the Rewrite which definitely would've helped her asking Ash to save Guzma from his sorrow and despair and I definitely wished that the Aether Foundation could've helped Zossie and her people(Like In The Ultra Sun And Moon Games and The Manga Adaptions) so she could've stayed longer In Alola and for the Manalo Conference Tournament maybe In return helping Lusamine and her Family with finding Mohn with the Other Ultra Recon Squad In The Future Pokemon Journeys Rewrite.
I wonder if you can have Alolan Characters get involved in The Pokemon World Championships like Guzma, Hau, Gladion, Lusamine and Lillie (In case they could use the money to help fund their search for Mohn while meeting and Battling people for clues), Plumeria, Kiawe, The Kahunas, Future Alolan Elite Four Members, Kukui and so forth since I felt they gotten the short end of the stick because they didn't have any one representing Alola other than just Ash And Pikachu which is disappointing. Hopefully you can retify that oversight by the Writers. 😉😉👍👍

One thing that I've grown to appreciate about your rewrite series as a whole is how willing you are to reference past events and how they matter to the characters. Like how Ash used his previous league losses to relate to and help Guzma, and how he thought about those losses and how far he's come before he was about to fight Gladion.

@Zanolith it had its moments but its not on par with your XY rewrite not sure if you plan to do a Journeys rewrite after this but if you do hopefully it'll be as good as your ATBAM rewrite
While I think this could have been worded in a more constructive and polite way, I must say that I do feel that one of the low points of this series was how little was changed from the original. I was excited for the league, only for it to be nearly the same as the original, which I felt was awful. This series feels less like a rewrite and more like "Sun and Moon with a few minor changes".

Hau is the worst rival I've ever seen never have I battled a rival before or since who couldn't get my pokemon to even HALF HP before since Hau and keep in mind my last Alola team was almost exclusively Dark types with 5 of my pokemon being dark types 4 if you don't count megas as I had:
Incineroar
Dusk lycanroc
Zoroark
Umbreon
Tyranitar
And Mega Gyarados
@dericksmith6526 To be fair, Zanolith did say Sun and Moon was his favorite series, so he probably didn't feel the need to make any massive changes like he did with Black and White and XY. Your criticism is still valid, though, and I'll admit I've kinda thought the same thing even though I'm still enjoying the rewrite.
