I'm a profitable trader. However, the other day I lost a trade that was 90% likely to succeed. It sucks but that is trading. Sometimes you have to be wrong even if it's unlikely and still show up the next day to trade the same way

If you want to make money, you need to have persistence, discipline, and patience. Probably more so than jobs at times, since no two trades you make are the same.
There is lost in trade can gain. And there is a lost in trade total lost. You must know which one by inspect the company and the price and stock market cap and volume and other company that you want to purchase stock

This is a pattern I've noticed with my trading I can do really great in a week win 7 to 8 trades and lose 1 or 2. But another new week I can start with a loss and throughout that week I'll be losing all my trades and lost all my profit to the point of destroying my account. I'm struggling to get out of this stage. Any advice on how to deal with this would be appreciated🙇 I need to move beyond this stage 😔
You're likely stuck at break even stage, every good trader has passed through this stage. My advice is to minimise your risk and don't revenge trade, revenge trading is why traders blow their accounts, you let your emotions counter your trading rules.
When market isn't trending, when it's choppy, it's likely stuck in a range. The best way to trade a ranging market is to identify support and resistance levels and trade it when price comes to resistance and support levels

Yah there is a psychology concept of winning/you think you can win more, or losing then revenge trading. The emotions are at play for sure.
